| SUGGESTION: Casinos | Started by: Francis_Kuklinski on Feb 18, '11 14:53 |

How about this - if you bankrupt a casino, you take it over... It's a win/win situation - it will entice more people to play, generating more income for the casino and at the same time adds a realistic edge.
Your thoughts? |

Not to crack your nut, but that seems very unrealistic. |

This would start wars and cause much unwanted conflict. |

Stewie, in real life, if the house couldn't cover the debt, he'd have to borrow it - and we're all in the mob here.
I've owned them in the past - making sure it's stocked is part of the outlay. You need a strong family and a peaceful society for the risk to be worth it.

Cherokee - a well managed casino is a cashcow - a million plus a day |

To be fair it sounds like a realistic suggestion. In real life its a likely thing to happen.
However it would leave too much money in the game. |

Why take it over when it backrupted and the vaults empty.
A real suggestion would be to be able to war over it and win it with all the monez |

It goes into the negatives, and it is unable to open up until its paid back. |

Because you bankrupt a casino doesn't mean you own it.... |

Just a note..Shouldn't this be in the suggestions forum? <.< As for the suggestion, I personally think it's horrible. What if some random gangster bankrupted the casino? Not only would he probably not have enough money to keep it open, but the GF/CL he/she took it from would probably kill him/her. |

yeah a few people told me on irc before though the casino can go to pot for a few days, can come back twice as profitable after, i am sure was davyjones who said he would lose some weeks, gain on others, but overall it worked in his favour |

I think realistically a gambler would be barred from playing before/after they broke the bank - am I right? |

Yeah, if you win too much, either the pit boss kicks you out, or they take you into the parking garage and beat your ass. |
