It was 06:50 and tiggy was waiting along with the trusted aide for KellyC to arrive in her car. tiggy had previously written to KellyC offering to go on a hunting trip for some refreshing air.

Yeah sure, that sounds fine.

Let's go hunting tomorrow, work at the Distillery Company can wait - I insist. I have the address written on this piece of paper, is seven too early?

A car pulls up alongside the dirt trail, KellyC steps out of the driver's seat.

"Kelly! What a pleasure to see you! This is my aid, Il_Matto ." Il_Matto gives a curt nod. "You have slept well, I trust?"

KellyC smiles at tiggy, with a gleam of youth in her eyes. "Sure did! All ready to go, thankfully I didn't forget my lucky shooter!" Kelly takes her gun out of the boot of her car. tiggy looks shortly at Il_Matto, who places a seemingly inconspicuous rifle back in tiggy's car.

"Well that's good! I had brought guns for both of us on this hunting trip, but you are one step ahead of me, Kelly! Come, let's get this started, shall we?" tiggy gestures with the chin to further along the trail, beckoning for Kelly to walk alongside tiggy, with Il_Matto remaining to keep an eye on the cars and provide some privacy.

tiggy and KellyC walked in silence along the trail and through the brush, keeping an eye out for any deer. As they come along to a small stream to cross tiggy spoke,

"I thought that it would be best for us to come out here and speak clearly, out here in the forest away from prying ears and eyes. Away from the world, where no one can touch us, nor we them." 

"Speak clearly about what, tiggy?" KellyC asked inquisitively.

"I'm sure since the books were opened to you that you are aware of some of the intricacies that can take place behind the closed doors between those considered to be Men and Women of Honor. Especially in times like these, what with the recent removal of Chicago's previous figureheads."

"What intricacies do you mean, tiggy?"

"Don't be so coy, Kelly!" tiggy smirked, "Surely you are aware of the common trait of the seniors within a city's families removing their fellow comrades in the pursuit of the greater good. But alas, some people are guilty of making the mistake of underestimating their comrades. I would hate to make that mistake, Kelly."

Kelly looks at tiggy in silence, contemplating the true meaning behind of what is being said.

"This intricacy is about us, Kelly, about Detroit. The face of Detroit is going to change forever from today, Kelly. We are so far away that what befalls today we cannot do anything about. There are no telephones, no telegraphs. The only option available to us is to decide whether we are going to choose to be a part of Detroit's future, or its past."

Kelly looks at tiggy ominously, skeptical of what tiggy may or may not be implying. Kelly and tiggy walk along through a slightly dense forested area, ahead was a small wooden cabin.

"Kelly, has there been any word about the investigation of Destro's death from SeanCallan?"

"I'm afraid I don't think it would be appropriate to discuss information that mandates the confidence of my crew." Kelly retorted.

A click can be heard from twenty feet back. Kelly takes a glance behind her and sees Il_Matto with a rifle aimed and ready at Kelly.

"It's time to talk plainly, Kelly." tiggy motions towards Kelly, and Kelly unholsters her firearm from the strap and hands it to tiggy. The trio walk towards the cabin, Kelly at gunpoint.

Entering the cabin, tiggy directs Kelly to take a seat in the lone wooden chair in the middle of the room. Il_Matto takes up post behind Kelly, ten feet away, rifle aimed at Kelly's head. In front of Kelly is tiggy, along with a rotary telephone on a small nightstand standing in the middle.

"I will be direct here, Kelly. SeanCallan's life, as are the lives of the others directing Detroit is over. We are too secluded in this forest to do anything about it. What I would like to know is if you will be with me on this, and if you will provide me with the same about of efficiency in your duties as you did Mr. Callan. In exchange, I would be willing to hear what you would want for yourself in return. But I must have your answer as to whether you are with me before this phone rings to announce SeanCallan's death, as that is how I know you will have made an honest and truthful decision."

Some time passes as Kelly sits in quiet contemplation of tiggy's offer. It feels as though a forever had passed, when finally a ringing sound can be heard from the telephone.

tiggy picks up the phone, with a hand covering the mouthpiece. "Well Kelly? What is your answer?"
