The Painting Started by: Destro_Whelan on Dec 16, '19 21:47

Destro_Whelan walked the city streets alone for hours, gripping the leather-bound journal he found at Jen_Mooney's gravesite titled Shannon's Side of the Story, and The EndHe barely took notice of the other pedestrians walking on the sidewalk, stunned by what he was reading.  His father, Destro, was not a good man he was learning, but in fact quite the villain.  He could not believe the level of villainy he had stooped to in his career.  This newfound information led to a brand new series of questons for Destro_Whelan.  Did this mean that Destro_Whelan was inherantly villainous himself? And who was his mother?  The journal spoke of a woman named Shannon-Whelan.  Was she connected to Destro_Whelan and his parents somehow?  He did not know.  Each answer just lead to more questions.

One of the most pressing questions on Destro_Whelan's mind was regarding a painting of some sort.  He had limited clues regarding it, but his investigations indicated that this painting led to the death of his father.  He was given very little detail about this painting, however the journal described it with words such as "lewd", "disgusting", and "repugnant".  Destro_Whelan dreaded to even think what kind of vile imagery was included in his father's painting.

He walked to a nearby warehouse where he had learned the painting had been stored after being auctioned off for millions upon millions of dollars, the winner bidder having long since been dead.  He looked over his shoulder before delivering a hard elbow to the glass window and sneaking inside the warehouse undetected.

After rummaging through some boxes, he noticed what appeared to be a painting wrapped in rotective paper at the far side of the warehouse.  His heart raced as he rushed to it and began to tear the brown paper from it.  Would this be the final clue?  What was so horrific about this painting that it was grounds for his father Destro to be slain over it?  He tore the remaining wrapping off of it and turned it over...

Destro_Whelan fell backwards and let out an audible shriek of horror at what he saw.  "AHHHHHHHHHH!" he said.  He had braced himself for something truly horrific, but the painting was far worse than anything he could have ever imagined.

Destro_Whelan woke up in the fetal position several hours later, having cried himself to sleep.  His sleep was haunted with nightmares of the traumatizing imagery he had been exposed to.  He was unable to stop trembling.  Finally he was able to muster the strength to stand, as he balled his fists and shouted to the heavens above.

"WHY!  Why do you forsake me!  Why have you lead me this far only to learn that this FILTH is associated with my father's legacy???  Who is that woman on that bed that appears to be ten feet away from my father Destro??? WHO IS SHE???????????"

Destro_Whelan was unable to contain his rage any longer.  It was a darkness he always knew was bubbling inside of him, but had finally reached a boiling point.  In a bling fury he pulled a blade from his pocket and began slashing at the canvas, destroying it.  As he slashed, a book fell from the frame, apparantly having been hidden inside the painting.  Destro_Whelan picked it up.  It was titled "The Diary of Destro and the Truth About My Son's Mother and Who She Is"

"Hmmmm, this looks interesting." Destro_Whelan said inquisitively.  He sat down on a crate and began to read.

Unseen by the masses as he watches the horror show unfurl only a few feet away from him, the Little Brown Mouse nibbles quietly on an acorn. Sure he was a little different, given that he kept his ear to the ground, very near to the ground... OK less than an inch off the ground most times, Jesus guys, cut a mouse a break... but he was sure that everyone must surely know by this point that Destro_Whelan's Father was CommissarZverev and his Mother was the cross dresser Destro. He'd over heard his father and the other hands in Las Vegas talking about it just before the shit hit the fan and everyone died. Given that Las Vegas was haemorrhaging leaks like the Titanic, he'd have assumed that everyone left would know the truth. Humans and their petty intrigues, rodents had such a simple life in comparison. Finishing the acorn, he took an exploratory sniff of a cigarette butt lying in the gutter, before scurrying off down a nearby alley, after all, he still had to have lunch with a Gruffalo.

"A gruffalo! Why, didn’t you know? He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws. I'm going to meet him by that Church where the bells are pealin' and his favourite food is Broiled Destro_Whelan..." mumbled the Little Brown Mouse to himself with a chuckle.

^ I really don’t appreciate this. It’s repugnant and repulsive.
Report Post Tip

Its a pity you lost your parents before one of them had "the talk". When a man and a woman love each other, or even just really iike each other,. Hell sometimes even when both have had a few drinks and been a while since they rubbed one out or in. Things happen. Its a natural and beautiful thing. Kinda fun too, hope one day you get to find out yourself.
