| Ice Skating Rink Snack Bar Money Laundering Scam | Started by: Destro_Whelan on Dec 23, '19 17:45 |

Destro_Whelan is spotted on the streets. He is wearing a Santa Claus hat. Happy holidays to you all, my fellow Men and Women of Honor. As you all know, I have recently been running a money laundering operation out of the snack bar of an ice skating rink in my new home city of Chicago. Now I know what everybody's initial thoughts were when I first took over the Stadium Ice Skating Rink. You all thought "What the heck does he plan on doing with that dusty old greasy hot dog roller grill thing?" Everyone thought I was crazy and laughed at the thought of me, Destro_Whelan, Made Man and son of a notorious villain, working behind an ice skating rink snack bar peddling hot dogs. Well it looks like it's Destro_Whelan who laughs last, and laughs all the way to the bank as well. All the way to the bank with squeaky clean money might I add, as my cash register is constantly printing out receipts for hot dogs I never actually sold or even cooked for that matter. It's a great scheme, so great in fact I purchased a second roller and am looking to expand my hot dog enterprise into even more ice skating rink snack bars across the country. This announcement is of course met with applause. Destro_Whelan pauses to let the applause settle before continuing. Therefore, I need to put anybody who might have their hand in an ice skating rink business on notice. I'll be moving in with my hot dog roller, and I intend to set up shop in your snack bar. You are either with this initiative or against it. Which side will you be on? I guess that will be determined when Destro_Whelan comes a-knocking with a hot dog roller under one arm and a large sack of dirty money under the other. I'm hoping to not have to just remove you from your respective ice skating rinks all together and will be open to negotiation, but more likely this will be what businessmen refer to as a "hostile takeover". I'll be as non-hostile about it as possible, but a lot of that is going to depend on the current proprietors' attitudes and level of cooperation. My Christmas wish is that this expansion goes without incident. No plans etched in stone just yet, but I'm considering expanding my snack bar hot dog operations shortly after the holidays, most likely beginning the expansion in New York. May you and yours enjoy a safe and festive holiday with the ones you love. |
