Nipsey had been working on his album and began to gain some attention from other artists. He decided it would be a good idea to start working on some features in between singles for his own project. One day while writing lyrics, he received a call from a guy named Chinx.

"Yo Nipsey! I've been listening to your music, and that shit is tight! I got something I think you will be perfect on. Let's get to work man! I'll fly you out and pay for your stay too."

Nipsey listened to Chinx, and smoked his blunt. It sounded like a pretty cool opportunity, and if all expenses are paid, why not?

"Iight fasho. Sounds good to me. I'll get on a flight tonight and we can get to work in the morning!"

Nipsey packed his bags along with a few of his closest friends and bodyguards. They got into three different cars and drove to the airport and went to an isolated runway where Nipsey's private jet was parked. Nipsey smoked some more of his blunt and boarded the jet. The flight attendant brought him a glass of Hennessy and Nipsey gave her a $100 tip. He then got up and handed the pilots a few stacks for taking their time to fly him out of town.

It wasn't a long flight to New York. Nipsey exited the plane and was welcomed by Chinx and his people. They drove Nipsey to a hotel and allowed him to settle in. Chinx brought a bag of money and sat it on the table.

"This is for the feature, and for flying out homie. I appreciate it!"

Nipsey handed the bag of money to one his bodyguards and they all got some rest.

The next day Nipsey woke up and ate some breakfast while rehearsing the lyrics he had written the night before. After brushing his teeth and getting dressed, Nipsey and his entourage exited the hotel and drove to the studio to meet with Chinx and work on the track.

Once he arrived, Chinx had the room filled with smoke already. Chinx passed the blunt to Nipsey and started playing the beat. Immediately, Nipsey began nodding his head and getting into his flow. He passed the blunt back to Chinx, and took a sip of tea so he can get ready to spit his verse. After one last rehearsal, he entered the booth and began to rap his verse.

I'm so used to this jealousy, stay on deck is my recipe

Nipsey exited the booth and Chinx was ecstatic. Nip went to smoke the blunt a few times before working on his adlibs and other parts of his verse. Chinx did his verse and had his boy Zach work on the chorus. The track came together nicely. 

Chinx shook Nipsey's hand and told him he would finish it up and have it released soon.

After leaving the studio, Nipsey headed back to the hotel to grab his stuff and get ready to head back home. He didn't like to be away for too long. The plane flight back was easy, as was the drive back to his penthouse. He turned on the radio and heard "Hey Fool" on the radio. Nipsey smiled, laid back, and puffed his blunt while sipping some drink.
