After the wonderful comments from PrincessLolly about my devilishly good looks and eye watering charm. I felt it necessary to make another appearance on our streets.

Wait for the drum roll.. this is of course about the Pickpocketing Ruling that was put in place last week. To keep it short and sweet, from this moment onwards, this ruling is no longer in place.

After a timely discussion with my fellow city heads we've come to the conclusion to remove the ruling for the following reasons. Firstly, the gods weren't best pleased with the implementation of the ruling, we also had a few people abusing the power given to them as per the ruling, this was also coupled with a few inept individuals who were incapable of following the ruling. 

Ultimately, the days of communism are long behind us and we move forward into a democratic rule, therefore we saw it fitting to listen to the well thought out arguments of the good people of our country and thus we deemed it best for the community to remove the ruling as a whole, in order to main our integrity as fair and just leaders who listen to people. 

I would like to inform those of you wondering, my previous mentioning regarding this rule was merely an informational one. Again we did not make this rule, but it had been in place for months, and as per the request of many folks we decided to repost it, in anticipation of clarifying our stance regarding it.

I applaud those of you whom voiced your opinion, I understand it did cause a bit of a stir though at least it bought back some vitality to the streets. I encourage more of that. 

I appreciate there may be further questions regarding this matter, I ask that you contact your city heads in the first instance for further clarification as this decision was collectively and wholly made together.

Homer this is fantastic news and i cannot wait to move on from this, it has been a testing week. Fair play to you and i think this will be better in the long run!

i'm assuming it's back to respect peoples stance if you don't you risk getting mugged case closed?

I think this is a good call Homer. Back to business as usual, without people needlessly shooting each other over stupid things. It takes a good leader to admit when he is wrong about something, and to prove that you are listening to the people and what they want.

Godfather-Chairman, I am grieved to say that I differ. The rank of Made Man is a great one, and should not be slighted in this way. I believe any and all associates, crewed and uncrewed, under the rank of Wise Guy should be free to shoot if a made man deems it necessary. Associates, remember, are not part of a family, but are rather individuals criminals sponsored and guided by a family. Made men and above are the only members of a family. 

There is a hundred ways made men can be respected and made to feel better than associates I don't believe a singular pp ruling is the be all and end all of it. 

Ms. Kaiya , I understand why you're saying this, but this is simply how the Mafia operates. This life is not an easy one, and associates aren't worth shit when compared to a made man. Made men are to associates as a private is to an officer.

all opinions on the pp/mug rule aside, you deserve respect for the ability to listen and be decisive. 

Are we really going to sit here and define the button by a pp rule... Please! If your not feeling special as a made and feel the need to be respected more then your boss isn't doing his job right.

I don't understand the question. I would say, a lot of people here who have earned their button pick the pockets of associates.

Thing is, in this thing of ours, a made guy means something.

and this is where the problem lies they are not given responsibilities or benefits (other than lazy written pp ruling)

are you telling me before this rule that made men were feeling disrespected from the beginning of time?

In my opinion if you are going to give someone their button they you TRULY need to give them responsibilities trust them with info and give them benefits like lesser tax or something, don't just pat them on the back and send them on their merry way or you get crazy rules like that previous one getting made to make up for lack of leadership

Let me explain.

Current situation.. 90% of the made guys have no real say at to what happens. Even if they get shot at, 9 out of 10 of these guys will go to their boss and not immediately fire back. Good for them in a lot of ways, but what power is this?

However, if we kept to the original ruling, WE WOULD BE GRANTING POWER to those button men.

Some shit associate picks your pockets and you don't like him? Tax his ass.
Send the boys to pick his pockets every hour for a month.

If he gets ballsy and puts hands on a made guy? 

Guess what.... you're a fucking button man. We trust you enough to know who to shoot and who not to shoot. If you couldn't figure that much out, you really shouldn't have gotten the button in the first place.

you can't write ONE rule to make it worth being made that's just lazy lazy lazy, mades should be given responsibility to train people be asked on advice on crew/city issues and be privy to knowledge that the rest of the associates are not, and the truth of the matter is this has not been done people have handed out buttons and just abandoned them no wonder mades are pissed, but it doesn't excuse disregarding pp stances and abusing power like we clearly saw in play the other day.

The Majority has in my opinion won here and this isn't just associates who have made this happen crew leaders and city heads back this. 

And, Kaiya, how would you address these issues you mention? If you feel mades are pissed then there’s obviously a larger issue at play here than just PP guidelines.  I don’t know if this ruling in particular has to do with a lack of MM empowerment but I’m curious to hear feedback. Regardless, I’ll be giving the established guideline my complete support and adherence.

like i said mades should be given responsibilities like teaching newer members/ be asked their opinions on crew/city matters be given less tax (if applicable)  be present at meetings where pivotal decisions are made, made can be too easily obtained in my opinion it does need to be more thought out and we need to make it feel like something but slapping on a crazy pp rule to make them feel special is mad in my opinion, can we all look at some mades around here and be filled with comfort knowing they will behave themselves?
