It had been some time since Nipsey was in the studio. With the recent crew leader promotion and other festivities, he wasn't able to record as often, although he was constantly writing.

Inside his new crew headquarters, he managed to build a personal studio to record in. His bodyguards, sound engineer, and producer all met together to prepare for his new track. Nipsey was actually featuring on a song, the artist sent him home with the recording so he could lay down his verse and finish mixing the song.

Keeping up with the usual ritual, Nipsey began smoking his blunt and drinking tea to make his vocal chords smoother. After a few moments of listening to the beat, he fell into his zone. It was time to record. Nipsey stepped into the booth and on cue, began to spit his bars.

The verse came out great in one take. Nipsey was happy with they way the verse sounded, so was his producer. They both gave the engineer the nod to start mixing and mastering the track. With the verse laid down, Nipsey poured a shot of Henny, and went back to smoking his blunt. It was great to be back in the studio.
