"Time to put in some work," Drake thought to himself as he was walking towards the OVO Recording Studio. His friend Abel, otherwise known as The Weeknd was already in the studio finishing up his verse and the chorus. Drake started bobbing with the music as he listened to Abel finish up.

The song was sounding great already and Abel left Drake at a good spot to begin his verse and continue the flow. Drake spent about an hour and thirty minutes writing his verse and rehearsing it. After preparations, Drake entered the booth and started rapping his verse on cue from 40, his producer.

Drake exited the booth. Him and Abel wrapped up the rest of the track and let 40 work his magic on the mixing and mastering. Once the track was completed, the song was put on records for Abel and Drake to have as well as copies to take to radio stations across the country. Drake couldn't help but realize the similarities of the music game and the dope game.

After saying goodbye to Abel, Drake went to his office in the OVO building and prepared to get back to work on the streets. 

"I like this song," Luna Baloona says, with breathy delight. She was dropping by at a friends place to deliver a package when she had heard the rap music coming from his radio. She discovered that the song name was "Crew Love". This type of genre wasn't really her thing, but in that current moment, she didn't mind it at all. Luna couldn't help but be nosy about the artist and she started asking her friend where she could possibly see this Drake guy. Maybe she could even have the chance to collaborate with him on a future bop. Luna bid farewell to her friend then hailed for a cab.

"En route to OVO studio!" She says to the driver with a warm smirk.

Drake was doing business in his office, when he received a call from the lobby.

"Hello Drake, we have a lovely lady by the name of LunaBaloona requesting to see you."

Although he did not know Luna personally, Drake was always looking to make new friends and went downstairs to meet her. After exiting the lobby, Drake saw Luna at the front desk. He kindly walked up to her to shake her hand.

"Hi there Luna, I'm Drake! Nice to meet you. Want to sit down in the lounge and talk?"

Luna lifted her face to Drake, now at eye level with him and she smiled. "Certainly." She couldn't help but get excited when she finally got settled down in the lounge. In a delightful tone she commented on the song she heard on the radio. "Crew love, was it? It's a great song. Been stuck in my head on the way here. So I was just wondering if you had ever wanted to partner with a female on a song?" Anxiety ran through her veins. She was a street peasant hoping to have her voice known and she was holding on a tiny string of hope. 

A waitress brought two glasses of water for Drake and LunaBaloona. Drake sat and listened as Luna told him how she enjoyed "Crew Love" and wanted to partner up on a song. After taking a few sips of his water, Drake looked at Luna and smiled.

"You know, I have always wanted to work with a female on a song. I think it can be an interesting dynamic. Have you been thinking of doing songs and entering the music business?"

Drake took another sip of water, before continuing.

"If you are interested, I'd be happy to work on something with you. My producer is amazing, and I have several connections that will help get your music heard across the country."

Drake sat back and sipped some more water as he waited for Luna's response.

"I always liked singing. I'm comfortable doing it in front of my close friends and family. And I never thought about actually making it a career until now. People always told me I had potential," she shrugged in denial but smiled softly. Even though she was nervous on how strangers would perceive her voice, she could really see a collaboration with Drake happening. This could be it. This could be her start into the music industry. 

She didn't need any more time to think. Luna was ready. She felt ready. Luna closed her eyes before reopening them. Her smile widened. "I just wanna say... this is such an amazing opportunity and I'm so honoured right now that you want ME to hop on a song with you. I'll gladly take this chance."

She cleared her throat, smiling. "But don't you want a sample of my voice first? I could sing something for you right now..." 

Drake smiled, he always loved helping people out. He knew this could be a great opportunity for LunaBaloona and wanted to help her establish herself in the music industry. After finishing his water, he sat the cup down and began to speak.

"Well, Luna, how about this? Write a song, and practice it. When you are ready, you can come back and we'll head upstairs to the OVO recording studio and you can record your song. Once it's to your liking, we'll head to the local radio station and get it played. From there we can see where you want to go with your career and work on your next song together. I'll feature on it, but it will be YOUR name as the artist on it. But I want you to work on your first song, and see what you got. You can return home, or you can stay in one of the rooms here. I'll make sure you get a suite if you choose to stay here. How's that sound?"
