Devante was eating dinner when Carlos came to him holding the telephone.  He looked at his guest and excused himself and walked over to Carlos.  Taking the phone after Carlos whispered into his ear what the situation was.  Devante nodded then walked further away from the guest so they would not hear his conversation.  One the other end of the call was David Carr Devante point of contact in Canada’s shipping port.   He told Devante that a chief inspector is holding one of his ship’s for inspection and that it had already been inspected.  Devante knows that his account always makes sure that the payoffs are made on time and received.  Making this search one of those over zellis officers looking to make a name for themselves.  Devante asked if this inspector could be bought; David replied was not what Devante wanted to hear.

Devante hung up the phone and looked over at Carlos.  He told Carlos to call the Hamilton Port Authorities and speak to Ian Dunn head of Operations and to keep calling until he is reached.  Then Devante returned to his guest with a smile and another apology for leaving them to answer questions about a business issue.  After another hour had gone by his guest were starting to depart and yet Devante had not seen Carlos since the first interruption.  As the last guest departed Devante walked quickly towards his home office as he was removing his tie.  He opened the office door as he saw Carlos still making that same call.  Carlos explained that he had been calling every ten minutes and no one was picking up at his home or office.  

Devante took a seat behind the desk dropping his tie on the center of the desk.  He looked up and told Carlos to book a flight on a private chart to fly them and Oscar to Oshawa Canada and ensure that a car is there to drive them to the port.  Carlos went to the other room to make those calls as Devante sat there thinking about what to do.  He couldn’t kill this man but maybe he could expose this man as a double dealing Inspector or reveal something that he doesn't want his superiors to know or the public for that matter.  Devante thought about making him an offer he can't refuse then a smile appeared he would have him transferred immediately.  The ship he wanted to reinspect was carrying a one and a half tons of Opium and two tons of Heroin.  It was also holding up two million dollars worth of perishable goods that need to get to the market and another fifty million in consumables that other retailers were waiting on.  

The next morning Devante was ready to go to the chartered flight when he made another attempt to call a Senior Chief Inspector on the Galindo Cartels payroll.  The man answered and Devante's million dollar smile appeared again.  He explained the situation and what his best course of action was.  Katherine Wright agreed and called the Inspector and had him pulled to assist with another inspection that they knew was carrying illegal goods for someone that they did want to bust.  She called Devante back an hour later letting him know that his crisis was averted.  Devante praised her and informed her she will see something extra in her next payment.  Then Devante hung the phone as they still went to see Ian.  Devante didn’t appreciate the fact that when he needed him he could not be reached.  That the man was making enough money to hire a maid or butler that should be able to answer his phone and contact him.  

When they arrived in Oshawa Canada the car was there with a driver.  The three men Devante, Carlos and Oscar never said a word other than to take them to the port authorities.  The driver did exactly that and then the three men exited the car Carlos told the driver to wait as they would return shortly.   Devante entered the office only to see that Ian was gone.  Ian’s office assistant Kelly Rowland told him that Ian resigned two days ago.  That the new guy will start in another week.  Devante nodded and then left as they drove to Ian’s home.  When they arrived they saw that the Police were there.  Oscar stepped out of the car to see what was happening.  Ian’s neighbor told Oscar that Ian shot himself in the head, that he was crying all night because his daughter overdosed on heroin and he kept saying it was all his fault.   

Oscar asked why was he saying it was all his fault?  The neighbor replied that he didn't pay his daughter enough attention and that's what all the other neighbors were saying for months.  Oscar thanked the neighbor and returned to the car.  He looked at Devante and shook his head as he told them that a young man killed himself because he didn’t pay enough attention to his daughter and she died of a drug overdose.  Carlos looked at Devante then told the driver to take them back to the city airport so they could return home.  Later that night Devante called his accountant and told her in code what happened.  The accountant understood and stopped any future payments to Ian and she informed the leadership of the cartel so they could work on getting a replacement for Ian.
