"So that's it? You guys want to pack our shit into Nevada and assume a better share of the product, we both know that you earn as much as we do half the time. This little league bullshit doesn't mean much to the Archangels."

Markos scoffed, sitting down in a public area had been the choice of scenery for Leroy. Almost like he was not trusted by his business partner in all of this, bringing it to the rest of the angels was not something that Leroy planned. He hoped for an independent business.

"It does when it is passing through their territory, your shit can't be lethal enough to kill. The Kings don't want orphans on the streets, they want to make sure that the body count is not even noticeable to the news' eyes. We want to make sure that we remain under the radar, I am not having a raid on my brothers."

Leroy could see that Markos was different, maybe that is what brought him to bring so much leniency onto the boy. He was trustworthy, he had that look about him, he could change your life forever. Maybe this was the start of it, a new beginning for African-American organizations.

That is why he was doing this but he would not lie and act as if part of this was not for the amount of cash that would be flowing through. It would be a big-time for the man who controlled the basetown tribe in California, though he was ready to see if some of his tribe could hang with the angels.

"Trust me, the product we got is legit. We know that we are going to be cutting corners, what we do right now is going to be different to that. I am not going to allow my boys to kill two innocents, that is the shit we don't do. You have to make a promise though, it doesn't matter whether it is black or white, whoever betrays this thing of ours, we kill them."

Making that kind of promise was something that leaders did but he knew that he was a far cry from being a leader, yeah maybe the Kings had trusted him with this kind of thing but it was not something that he liked to keep on his chest.

Markos knew the type of leader he was, he was not the one to make sure that he kept an eye out for the men that would betray them. He always believed in the brotherhood but he had heard the stories, the former Presidents, VPs, and Sgt At Arms, all of them had done things that would have crippled the club and it still stood because they dealt with it.

This club had many skeletons in the closet, Presidents of other charters had kept it close to them, making sure no one else knew. Markos heard the rumours though, the boys always let some things slip and that is how Markos got his view of the club. It may not be like a family but they protected one another, it was for the club.

"For our business together, I'll bring that to the Kings. Anyway, just don't make any mistakes, the club voted this in. The first shipment begins next week if I am not mistaken, make sure your boys are ready. I'm not having any bullshit excuses, this club is making money for you and your tribe. Let's all get rich in this scheme."

Leroy nodded to his boys, walking off towards their car.

It left Markos to stare at them for a while before shaking his head, taking a smoke out of his pack and noticing how many people watched him with disgust. He did notice that they had children with them, he muttered a soft apology that he knew they wouldn't hear. Deciding then to walk away, he noticed a few of his brothers.

"Rocco, Twisty. Who sent you guys here?"

They both smirked, he knew exactly who sent them and they did not need to tell him. This was the club life, how it operated, a brother never rode alone during meetings. Rocco and Tiwsty were particularly close to him, he understood the reasons for sending them here but this...was very different.

"How's Leroy taking this hauling shit gig? He still earns cash, and he triples his revenue from what you told us. He doesn't seem all that happy that we're going to be walking with the tribe."

A laugh was all that got Twisty in return, just coming from that little meeting, it would seem like that but Leroy knew that he could not do any better. No one else was willing to do business like the Angels, except the mob and that kind of thing just never worked out.

"Oh he's happy but he knows that we're the only player willing to stretch this for him. Any other club doesn't have that big of a presence, no one fucks with the Angels, no one."

The Brothers left the park, all riding off back to the clubhouse and going to tell the brothers the good news with the deal they had secured with the shipment. This was going to be a night for celebrating, though they all had a feeling this was going to be different, something that could not be stopped.

An alliance with the up and coming basetown tribe led by Leroy Sullivan, this was going to be a moment in history that had them ready to face any enemy. An enemy that could not be halted in its tracks, one that had the greatest hand ever and had yet to even show it. Markos knew that he was ready for this, he felt it.

The Angels and Basetown Tribe, many enemies could quake in their boots and others could be ready for a war but there was one thing that would not separate this alliance, the middle man in all of this and he knew it was him. Markos Iscariot held this alliance together, he was ready to bring it up to new heights.

"That Kid is definitely something, I see something in him and maybe he is a bit like Mikey. Either way, he secured this deal and we won't have to worry about the Vato's, anybody wants to screw with the One-Niners, they'll be messing with us also. This is going to be big for us, better than anything else we will have ever done before."

Konnor spoke with a fondness for Markos in his voice as he nursed himself with a glass of vodka in hand, noticing the brothers around him nodding their agreement. Though it was mostly the veterans, the ones who had been here with the President when Mikey was still here at the helm with him.

Markos sat alone in the clubhouse, a woman desperately trying to gain his attention before he was pulled away by a game of pool. Though this seemed a friendly wager, Brothers placed money on who would win and it seemed like Markos had the favour. The Kings and their circle were not paying attention to the growing crowd, deciding to stare at Markos and how he handled himself.

"He handles pressure, good. He can handle that California business, along with Indian Hills. I don't want Andres to think we've left him to sit out there and wait for death, we'll get him a few brothers as well. Make sure that he knows we want him safe, I don't like have brothers out here, alone."

They all knew that Andres was one of the few remaining Archangels, one of the oldest members and someone that could be relied on to ride all over the world to make sure his boys were safe. That is something Konnor hoped to repay and he would, if Makros could handle this, maybe an elevation in his office was ready for him. He carried himself quite well, this charter needed someone like him.

Konnor knew that he was being unfair but considering the people here and who had the bottom rocker, this was a matter of club business. Markos was a top-level man, his style of work and play, it impressed most of the boys here and unlike the other brothers, he knew how to keep his mouth shut and not gossip like a bunch of housewives.

"I thought Niro and Rocco had that run, if you want, I can assign them both with a little bit of protection. I don't think we can spare all the brothers for this run, the Vato's have to abide by this agreement. Mikey is the one that set it up, guns for cars if they're trying to pull out now....they either have a new supplier or they've grown a few fucking balls in these past few years that we've been resting on our laurels."

Joel, A.K.A Creeper spoke clearly, this business was not something that anyone simply just forgot. The VMC And FAMC had a deal, for them to now renege...it meant something big was happening in the underworld and the Kings, along with their circle intended to find out what exactly that was.
