| Whats the point of getting a local account if you could get a federal one and access it from any city? | |

| crew leaders tax their members crimes, and those taxes go into the city banks, this way the Leader will have to travel to get the cash...which can get expensive due them having to pay for their BG's to fly as well | |

i understand what you saying frankie the only reason for federal banks is for crew leaders to have to fly to pick up taxes. but this costs money so what is the point of them flying to collect money, it makes it a pointless exercise just seems an uneeded addition i feel now maybe if the federal banks had an interest rate, that would make it a bit more interesting. |

Why should they have an interest rate? When someone in their family makes a profit in that city, it goes into a city account for the to collect. Seems fine to me. |

But we are in the Mafia. All the interest goes to ensuring the money stays in the bank when we want it to. And a CL will spend the money to fly and pick up his money...because its his money and it can start to add up to more than the cost of flying... |

Local accounts are for the CL's to collect money. Yeh there might be interest rates. But its still a bad idea. |

The point of the taxes going into local banks was for the crewleaders to have to fly to pick-up cash. During a war the only way they can get the tax money is if everyone is doing petties in the city they're in. It forces crewleaders to be active during a war. Federal banks are just so you can access it anywhere. |

I believe this feature was made to make the playing field a bit more level. This way crew leaders cannot amass a gigantic pool of body-gaurds without it being somewhat detrimental to their finances. One of those checks and balances of the game. Basically, if you're not a crew leader, just use the federal banking system. |
