Faygo 

(part one)

Devante had a sit down with his cousin Victor Rasario, a smuggler in the Sinaloa province of Mexico.  Victor was running alcohol into Texas. Victor had a few trucks and soldiers that were loyal to him because he paid them well.  Victor wanted to start his own operations and be in control of every step and everything within his borders. Victor was younger then Devante but they were a lot alike.  They were focused on what they wanted and determined to achieve their Goal.  They set up one goal at a time and remain on target until reached.  They both were tall and handsome and they loved music, and laughter.  The love that they had for the fairer sex when beyond lusting after their flesh.  It was a respect for what they can endure and how they can manipulate and make you see what you really didn’t see and some were so skilled that they could confuse a man into thinking he was more than what he is and make others think they are less than what they really are.  The women in their families were very skilled. A woman's biggest distraction other than her words was the way they moved and the way they spoke and dressed.  Victor used that to his advantage far more than Devante.

Victor crew consisted of many women and most of his advisors were women just as Devante mother was the Accountant and Chief Advisor on all matters within the Galindo Cartel. The leaders respected the opposite sex and used that to weed through the bull shit lies in business dealings as a woman intuition.  They were more sensitive to that cons as long as they heard the conversations.  Devante’s father just as Victor’s father taught them that if the woman is allowed to hear the conversation and not see the men speaking they were correct ninety five percent of the time.   If they saw a handsome man and he had a certain smile and smell they were off their game as their mind wanders like a man’s mind when an attractive woman speaks.  Devante trusted his mothers and sisters intuition and they would advise him when they were around.  Devante needed to find a woman that could fill that role.  But for now he needed to hope that blood was stronger than greed.  Devante wanted to ship his product into Texas, Arizona and New Mexico without having his product lost, replaced, cut, or taxed  which were most of the issues that were faced when shipping through Mexico.  

Victor could assure him that those things would not happen and Devante could line Victors pockets with money and resources in the Political arena.  Devante had military and political connections but he didn’t trust them when it came to his product.  They lose shit and forget shit to make more for themselves and killing a general or two causes issues with recruiting replacements and when politicians fuck you over its to much exposure and they use the law to get you and tax you and then you have the voters that loved their lies after you screaming justice.  They tend to call on the foreign neighboring governments which Devante did not want the attention of ever.  Because when the US gets involved the law is changed to fuck the offender right up the tukos with no Vaseline.  Devante knew that Victor would want this deal to work and Devante needed this deal to work.  Victor could dominate his territory and that is what Devante would keep targeting keep harping on.  Victor wasn't arrogant but he was one hell of a businessman for one so young.   Devante’s goal was to increase the earnings to a point far beyond what his parents and the board imagined.  The meeting was set to occur in San Antonio Texas at a restaurant across the street from the Alamo.  Both men knew that area well and they knew that neither would not cause an incident on American Soil.    

Chapter two

Devante arrived early sitting at a table alone looking up each time the front door to the restaurant opened.  Chavez sat at the bar near the door and Sosa sat at the rear of the bar watching.  Devante was wearing a slate gray suit with matching socks and a with silk shirt and metal gray shoes with the white shoecover.  His hair slicked back and a red flower in his lapel.  Then the door opened and a woman walked in looking around then Victor walked in followed by another woman and the two women sat at different booths one behind the two cousins and the other one booth before the two men.  Victor was wearing the exact identical suit as they complemented each other's tailor.  The men looked sharp and anyone looking at them could tell that they had or came from money.   Victor smiled and shook Devante’s hand and then sat across from him.  Victor then looked around the restaurant and said the two men you have looked ready for something to happen. Devante smirked and nodded that Victor was correct. Then Devante told him the two women you came with look like they can handle business.  Making Victor smile and nod.  They made small talk and covered everything from their parents to school and vacations.  Then Devante went into the business.

Devante told him that the reason for the meeting was to set up a partnership.  Devante wanted to ship forty tons of cocaine and heroin into the states into Texas and Arizona by way of Mexico Devante would pay for every delivery made and provide them with political and military support against his competition and the money made they would be able to purchase more trucks and make more deliveries of their rum and whiskey and whatever they needed from across the borders his people would ensure that they received it and as much as he needed.  Devante looked at Victor and could see that he was interested but hesitant.  He then asked what concerns did he have?  Victor looked at him and told him that they both had fathers and they may be the front men their fathers truly are the men in charge.  That moving drugs into the united states would be more of a struggle.  Liquor has a penalty and can be poured out and absorbed into the ground.  That powder carries longer jail terms and as the rich get addicted those politicians well increase those jail sentences.  To be caught on U.S. soil with that the men will be held there and the Americans aren’t too kind to my people.  Then Victor looked at the menu and called over a waitress.  

The waitress walked over and smiled and asked if they were brothers and the men replied to their cousins.  She asked did they just come from a wedding and Devante nodded yes and she replied that it was cute how they are dressed alike.  Victor asked for a cup of coffee and two sunny side up eggs two slices of toast four strips of bacon.  Devante said he would have the same thing  except he wanted two emlets with ham and cheese.  Then Devante told her to collect the two men orders and the two ladies order and put it on one tab.  The waitress smiled then went to each person to get their orders.  Victor then continued with his concerns that his father didn’t want to get involved with drugs nor would he approve of them shipping for the cartel.  Devante looked at Victor and understood the problem.  Devante asked him why when Victor's father was still a member of the cartel and that his seat has never been filled.  That their grandfather created the Galindo cartel.  Jonathan Galindo Ramos started it shipping booze and women and then drugs.  He even shipped Cocoa beans and coffee beans.  Victor laughed and nodded but replied that his father doesn't like that kind of risk or exposure.  That it is not worth the problems in the end when you don’t trust the people you work with or the ones that you used to trust and love like brothers and sisters.  That you consider the ones that love you the most as potential traitors because they disagree.  

Devante smiled and nodded then told him that's why it's a board.  No hits without board approval.  No moves made without board approval.  The board handles and covers all the risk as possible so that the made dropping off the product is safe.  The man with the gun gets away.  That no one is a local street dealer.  That no one within the cartel is caught selling the product on the streets.  Like the booze they have buyers and their buyers purchase five times the amount of powder then liquor.    Devante then said they could also be paid in powder one ton each and the cash to do what they wanted.  Victor looked up so we would get paid for every successful delivery plus one ton of coke and smack for every forty ton shipment.   Twice a month every month no if or and about it.  Devante smiled and and told him exactly.  Then the food arrived and they ate and talked more about the deal.  Devante promised Victor that they would never have to go past San Antonio.  Victor then said that he would talk with his father.  Devante then told him that if his father passes on the deal he must understand that the cartel will seek help elsewhere and that his business may suffer because someone else would be making the money and reaping the benefits of the cartel connections.  

Victor pushed his plate away and told Devante that he was not weak and does not like threats that they can handle whatever and whoever comes at them.  That the rumors of them being weak is grossly mistaken.  That they are firmly entrenched within their provenance.   Devante reassured Victor that it wasn't a threat.  That he merely wanted them to know that the cartel needed this and would move heaven and earth to get this route opened and running.  That the cartel all agreed to bring this to him because his father was still a member of the board.  That that seat would fall to him when his father steps away officially.   Then the waitress returned to clean the table and see if they needed anything else.   Devante asked for more coffee and then smiled as he turned towards Victor.  He told Victor you are my cousin my blood and I know that I can trust you that together they could get whatever they could achieve whatever they set their minds to. 

Chapter Three

Victor and Devante stood and shook hands, Devante looked at the entrance door and he spotted four men with guns in the ready position.  He then saw Chavez pulling his pistol, Devante then yelled go down as he pulled his cousin Victor down and pulled his pistol.  Chavez pulled his pistol as he took a bullet in his shoulder.  Victor pulled his pistol Teresa pulled two 38 revolvers and hit her target as Chavez shot the man that shot him. Then Christina stood shooting at a third man hitting him in the center of his chest with her two 38 revolvers.  Sosa pulled his pistol as he heard men coming in through the back of the restaurant.  Sosa fired hitting the first man in the head and forehead.  Victor spun and fired at the second man that was coming from the back door.  The second man took the first bullet in his right kneecap and three shots to the chest as he fell dead.  Then Sosa shot the next two killing them both.  Teresa and Christina reloaded as Chavez was looking for someone else to enter.  Devante had his pistols pointed at the front door.  No one entered from the front or the back doors then with their guns reloaded the two ladies stood there looking around as Chavez stood as well as Victor and Devante.  Sosa checked the back door and it was clear.  Chavez looked out front and it was clear.  All six went out the back door and to their cars.  Victor recognized one of the hitters from the back and Teresa two of the hitters from out front.  They were the competition that Devante spoke about.

Devante told Victor that he needed to explain everything that happened to his father and how now his father has to make peace with the cartel.   Devente told him either way they needed to spank the leader of those rebels that just attacked them.  Victor told him that he would be in contact in a few days and they will discuss the actions here today and the plan to eliminate the competition and how they will at some point start the partnership.  Teresa was driving and they made it safely back to Sinaloa where Victor told his father what Devante offered and how they were attacked.  Victor’s father heard about the seven men that were found shot to death at a restaurant in San Antonio.  The two female bodyguards were there to back the events told. Victor’s father listened with his top three advisors.  They thought about their enemies and how the fight was becoming harder to support that they needed more money and the help of the Mexican Army to help eliminate their competitors.    He knew the cartel had the power to defeat them and the partnership would help establish them as the major players in all Sinaloa.  To retake his seat and rebuild the bonds with his brother.   Victor was willing to handle the transportation and security. 

Devante made it back to the hotel, he had connections and made a few phone calls and an hour later a doctor arrived and took care of Chavez.  Chavez was ready to travel so then drove from Texas to Chicago they knew that all the airports and train stations would have police in them looking for people traveling and Chavez with a fresh wound would have him locked up for questioning.  Driving was the best way since he knew the back roads and was from Texas.  After two days of driving they were home and Carlos, Romeo, Luis, Oscar and Manny were waiting.  Devante was in a mood and wanted to retaliate as soon as possible.  He wanted to send a message to the Guadalajara cartel under Junior Carrillo.  Devante wanted Luis and Romeo to take their men and dispose of them like rats in a sinking ship.  He wanted them to understand that the Galindo Cartel was stronger and could reach them anywhere at anytime.  Devante had Carlos make calls to the politicians in that province.  He wanted the military to strike at all their businesses and shut them down for the next thirty days.  He wanted the Mexican police to arrest as many as they could and hold them for questioning for the next thirty days.   He would then have his men move against the boss.  Blood was to be spilled but how much would be up to Carrillo.  Devante called the Accountant and informed her of everything she understood and the cost and informed him that she would get everything approved by the board.  That he needed to ensure that for the next three weeks he needed to ensure as much capital was collected and the fourth week and  after used what’s needed.   The calls will be made and the payments made to the right people.  

The Final Chapter

A week went by when Carlos and Sosa reached the Rosario family ranch.  Carlos explained to Victor’s father and top advisors what would happen step by step.  The Mexican police would be paid by the Cartel to protect the family and their businesses.  The military will start rounding up Carrillo’s men then those that they want executed shall be however they must keep a low profile.  They can not attack the Carrillo organization however this was all contingent on them returning to the Galindo cartel as a partner.  If they do the plan will be executed within the next four weeks at the latest.  If not then the cartel will allow the two of them to fight it out and the winner will do business with the cartel one way or another.  Victor then stated that they had a product that they grew and wanted to use the Galindo shipping to distribute their product up to Canada and the northern states.  That they get to keep those profits and the old man will return to his set and they keep control of their Mexican territories.  Carlos knew that Devante would agree to that since he stated that they would ask for those concessions.  Victors sister Vivian then stated that if the Galindo was paying for all of that and they agreed to the amendments that they needed that they should toast to the occasion.  Carlos nodded as she poured them all a drink.  Then Carlos told them that men from the cartel would arrive here for a week then they would deal with Carrillo and finish this rivalry.  

Four weeks later as Carrillo was sunbathing at the family ranch while hosting a family gathering.  His two sons were manning the grill and his two daughters were in the pool with their husbands.  Carrillo thought he was out of the woods after the botched hit on Victor and the people he was meeting with.  He was still very careful as he had fifty armed guards around the compound.  He thought that he had the Rosario family hiding behind the police.  Then his phones started ringing.  He was receiving bad news every ten minutes.  His top lieutenants had been arrested and his operations raided.  His fields were burning and his trucks confiscated.  His assets were frozen and soldiers were being shot by the police and the military.  All hell broke loose within his organization.  He called everyone into the house and told his men to stay within the compound.  He sat with his family and had them calling around but they could not reach anyone.  All his political connections dried up his friends from the military arrested or on vacation.  He started to panic and asked his family to get dressed they were going to their safe house.   Then his worst nightmare came to haunt him as his wife stood there in front of him he looked at him and then blood slowly fell from her lips as her eyes went black and she fell to the ground.  He didn’t hear the popping noise that was happening all around him.  Then he turned to see that the men that were guarding him were shooting his family.  He looked back to see his daughters and son inlaws laying on the floor dead.  His sons were also dead and now he was there all alone.  Then Sosa walked up behind him and called his name and as he turned the lights went out.   Devante’s men were driving away as the Carrillio house was burning down.
