Torres rides in on his horse and starts to speak I am out here for the well being of business owners everywhere. I wish to start a successful organization for business owners to promote good business and make sure all their businesses stayed active as well. I hope that every business that joins this good willed (non profit) organization will have prosperity in their businesses. I own at the moment 5 businesses, for those of you who may ask "what criteria does he have to run this?", but I also need help just as much as some other do with their bars, shops, and etc. Buildings are vacant in LA and I wish to change that. Also, there are some shops that have never been visited and remain dusty as the day goes on. I, for one, am tired of this and wish for a change in the Business District of the six cities! Too long have I decided to do nothing but watch these buildings erode in this era! Too long has it been since businesses were booming with sensation and people willing to go into any store or bar to further the stores amd bars we all own! I will promise only my dearest dedication to the businessmen of the six cities and for the businesses to be great and grand with excitement, activity, and greatness. I demand this change and it can only occur if all the businessmen of the six cities help me out in anyway they can. When you join this you are no longer your own shop keeper but now part of a network which you are as important as the man or women standing next to you. Those of you who wish to join and further the business of this grand place speak up now so I may hear you and tell of the building in which we shall meet to start a change. When you join remember that you further a cause not your cause. So speak up now so I can hear that you would wish for change to! |

Santino sees a man on a horse and rubs his eyes to make sure he isn't seeing things. Ahh Mr. Torres, it's you. Nice horse you have there, buddy. I'm a business man like you. I inherited a butcher shop from my grandmother and I have plans to start a small business in Philly soon. Your organization of business owners sounds interesting. Doing something to improve the activity in business districts is long over due. Count me in. |

Not only are you stating it as a non-profit, but as a union... I don't suppose there was ever a 'Jimmy Hoffa' in your bloodline? Now as it happens we share the same city, but in theory what you're suggesting would have an effect on all cities and encroach on the territory of others, in fact you've already mentioned Los Angeles were you wish to make changes yet wield no formal power, have you speculated on how this view will be received by the future family head of said city? The words non-profit and organized crime go together like... like something that doesn't go together at all. For god's sake I charge fellow crew members a finder's fee on drug prices, and that's reasonable compared to some. What you're suggesting as noble as it may seem is a highly unorthodox and dangerous plan which will only result in failure and possibly worse. At best this is nae individualism and at worst a suicide pact. You have no business recruiting people and expecting them to come together when their loyalty lies with their current family, your fate will be decided by those above you, your business's are at the mercy of those above you, not until you wield supreme power will you have any say or the right to demand anything, period. Come to think of it, your proposal has no proposals or structure or defined business strategy and I've probably wasted my time... the end. |

In times a peace there is not much to do for the common man except go to the local pubs and drink. With the wars many places are vacant and cities like LA have almost no recrational places. I am just trying to help people pass the time. As well the future head of the city I am sure would not mind at all that their are shops their from different people. Do you see CLs going mad because someone out of the family has started a business in their city? I'll answer that for you with a no. The words non-profit and organized crime do go together like peanutbutter and jelly. How do you fund a non-profit porgram? Through illegal activities no one detects. The mafia is Business! Some people such as myself and Santino are so fed up with the lack of Business that we are deciding to do something about it. Recruiting? I am not no underground group nor cult and I do not wish to treated as such. They volounteer to help out. The people higher than me are no problem at all. If they did have a problem with this then I would shut it down. I have not recieved word that no one likes this. In fact you haven't told me if you liked it or not. I would wish to see an answer. In my group we are all equal and everyone is as important as the next. I have already stated this in fact. I do not propose nothing but an effort to help out the business front. The strategy is in the backalleys my freind. I am very glad you spoke up and voiced your opinion in fact and I enjoyed replying to you. Thank you for voicing your opinion. |

To be fair his idea is well on the way to improving the business district in every city. From what I understand of this idea hes going to posts a listing of every business that is associated with his group in a back alley for everyone who is interested so they can easily visit the associated businesses. This idea promotes interaction in the community regardless of the owner's associations. I would venture a guess that improving the business is among the goals of every leader as making this thing of ours a better overall experience is part of a leader's job description. This gathering is just a tool that helps further that goal. Now conjecturing about what future leaders may think about this is pointless. Hes making a stand to help improve the community and I applaud his effort. |
