The ride to the First Bank and Trust building was a quiet one. It was 2pm, a lull between lunch hour and end-of-day closing. Lily glanced around inside the vehicle, looking for teeth, horns, possibly a pointy tail or two, but nothing seemed out of order. Three normal men surrounded her, just three of your average criminals out to knock over a bank, steal huge sums of cash, and possibly claim some souls. The car pulled to a stop at the corner where the bank was situated. All four got out and Lily led the way inside. None of them had bothered with disguises, it had been agreed upon that the appearance of fangs and eyes bleeding black would effectively erase all efforts of accurate witness recollection. Once inside the building, the four went in different directions. Lily strode purposefully towards the safe-deposit room, which was wide open but guarded. Smiling at the uniform at the doorway, she barely slowed. "Good afternoon! Just need my passport today," she smiled up at him, holding her lockpicking tools in her palm like a key. She'd done the math and figured she could get at least 12 boxes open per minute, allowing a few seconds for brief jams or other errors. While Gino went for the safe, she'd pull boxes, taking whatever could be easily fenced. Ryubi and Sully would be on the tellers and remaining guards, calling out time as bags were loaded with cash, and Ryubi's target, or targets, were located. Things wouldn't look suspicious inside the safe deposit room until after Lily went to open more than one box. By then, it was assumed the guard would be hustling away to deal with the bank robbers out in the main room, and she'd be forgotten. snick The first box was unlocked and she slid it out and placed it on the table. When she opened the lid, she breathed out slowly. Treasury bills, bound tightly together and stacked all the way to the brim. Jackpot! |

Sullivan might have been a hair soured for not being on safe duty, if it weren't for the fact that twenty years had passed since he'd cracked one... Technology had advanced, after all. Besides, who better than to handle crowd control than the two that, well, could cause others to see things they shouldn't? Sullivan waited patiently in line beside Ryubi who was scanning the crowd for his first soul. It had been about a minute since they'd split way, and soon they'd need to be the diversion that Gino and Lily needed. As the clock struck one minute Sullivan stepped out of the line and left Ryubi where he was. A few long strides carried him directly to the front of the line where he laid a bag and a gun on the counter. "Pardon me," he offered to the lady beside him as she stared, her eyes widening as she saw the gun. Turning to the teller Sullivan, wearing a smile, tapped the bag. "Fill it up, this is a bank robbery after all." A wicked gleam in his eyes set the mood rather quickly as he grabbed the gun and held it in the air. "EVERYONE ON THE FUCKING GROUND! ANYONE WHO TRIES TO RUN, WELL, JUST TRUST ME YOU DON'T WANT TO FUCKING RUN!" Spinning on the guard that came running from Lily's corner of the bank, he grinned and shook his head. "WEAPON ON THE GROUND!" The guard aimed his gun for Sullivan's head, but the wicked grin that looked back on him sent shivers down his spine. Only the guard saw it, Sullivan made sure of it, but the flash of unnatural blue in his eyes... The fangs... The skeleton beneath the flesh... The guard squeezed his trigger until the gun clicked, screaming in horror as he shot at Sullivan, or whatever that thing was. The people in the room panicked and scrambled. Everyone ran... All accept for the woman who had seemed to switch places with Sullivan in an instant. Sullivan stared at the poor girl beside him as she slunk to the ground bleeding out and gasping for breath. The security guard had riddled with lead. "Wow. And I thought -I- was the monster here..." He looked back to the guard before looking to Ryubi. "He's all yours, my friend." Returning his attention to the teller, he pointed at the bag. "GET BACK TO FILLING THIS BAG! EVERYONE ELSE!" Sullivan fired a warning shot into the wall in front of a man trying to run. "BACK ON THE MOTHER FUCKING GROUND AND YOU DON'T DIE LIKE YOUNG ALICE HERE!" The energy in the room got heavy, and Gino and Lily would even feel it as Ryubi/Ryuk and Sullivan allowed themselves to leech into the minds of their hostages. |

Ryubi smiled as SullivanBlack told him that he could have the guard. He had to say no more, Ryubi pulls out his blade and walks to the panicked guard, who is stumbling around with his gun and a fresh clip, trying to get the clip in the gun he keeps dropping it and saying something quickly and quietly. Ryubi couldn’t understand him, but he didn’t need to, he got close to him and then slammed his blade into the man’s abdomen, looking him dead in the eyes and deep into his soul Ryubi slides the blade up his body and twists the handle before throwing his body on the floor.
He then stands on top of a table that is in the centre of the room and pulls out the photos of Ryuks targets. “Have any of you fine people seen any of these men? They owe something to someone very powerful and it needs to be repaid immediately.” He says pointing his gun at the banks customers. One woman points behind Ryubi and he smiles at her, then turns around to see one of the men in question. He wastes no time getting him by the throat and letting Ryuk take over. Holding the man high above the rest, Ryubis eyes turn black and his face shifts. “Good fucking evening clarkson. Remember me? The dark soul you made a deal with? Our lord wants his soul back. Our Lord fucking demands it!” He screams as he then opens his mouth biting the Man who was held in the air. Ryuk bit deeper than ever and draining the mans blood, his mouth and face covered in blood, it ran all down him and his suit.
He then turns back to sully and smiles showing off his true self and then at the teller who was now frantically packing the bag full of cash “amazing what a little death can do no?” Ryubi says as he starts to laugh demonically. |

Magda's part in the plan had been clear. Since someone might recall the car they drove up in, she was to acquire a new car for the purposes of getting away. She'd be the driver and ideally it would be hours before the police put together that a carjacking on the other side of town was even related to the robbery at the bank. For her role in the whole ordeal, she'd receive a small cut of the take. She'd planned to pocket some and pass a bit up to Dyson, since he'd been good enough to look out for her and toss her odd jobs. Being an associate of Wicked Inc. had been pretty good for her thus far, but she wasn't yet 100% sure this was the life she wanted. Sure, this was sort of the family business and all, and like most people in her bloodline she enjoyed living a life of creature comforts; but the memory of killing that bum in the alleyway still haunted her. How could she be sure she had the stomach for this? Mags tucked her hand under her jacket as she followed a slender man wearing a suit back to his car. He wasn't very big, and even if he had been, Magda had learned that Smith & Wesson had made a great equalizer. As they came to the back end of of what appeared to be his car, she knew it was now or never. Carefully she put her foot down onto the ground, side first, so that the fall looked and sounded as real as possible. As she tumbled to the pavement she cried out, hand still on her gun. The man, as expected, came running to her. "You alright, Miss?" He said with deep concern in his voice. His eyes devoured her in a way she wasn't all to unfamiliar with. Just the same, if she'd had any hesitation about what she was about to do, it vanished at that moment. "I am now." She said, her lips curling upward in a tight grin. "Your keys please." She held out her free hand toward the man. "You don't want to do this. The cops will find you. Your whole life will be over!" She shook her head as she snatched the keys from him. "Mister... you got no idea how lucky you are that I'm the one here today and not someone else." With all the strength she could summon up, Mags smacked the man on the back of his head with the butt of the gun sending him down to the ground unceremoniously. She looked at him for a moment, lying there in a heap and fretted over whether or not a man could die from a bludgeoning like the one she'd just given him. Had she possibly left a second man for dead? It was then she remembered her partners in crime. They'd be concluding their 'withdrawal' from the bank soon. There was no time to waste. Hopping into the car she turned the engine over and made her way back towards the spot they all agreed she and the getaway car would be waiting. |

| Well, this should be fun. I had decided, I would be the look out for coppers, for these guys. I would be smoking a lot outside here looking like a normal person, whatever that was. I certainly would not be drawing attention to myself, obviously. Meanwhile, Mags will be a different getaway vehicle, just imagining how she will do that makes me laugh, just a little. There must be a lot of commotion in there by now (I look at my watch). Wondering how it is going in there. I take another drag of my cigarette. This will be my first one in a while....we will see how this goes...oh I think I see someone coming...... | |

Ryubi was stood in the lobby of the bank, covered in blood and grinning, he looks out the entrance and sees the lookout act like they’ve spotted someone. Ryubi turns back to the bank teller and aims his gun in her face, sliding the photos over to her “POINT THEM OUT OR I WILL PAINT THESE FUCKING WALLS WITH YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FACE!” He screamed at her, she panicked and dropped some bills, quickly picking them up, seeing the blackness of Ryubi’s eyes would do that to most, she started pointing at the people in the photos but one, “H..Him, he’s upstairs, in...he’s in his office.” She says frantically.
Ryubi turns to his accomplice SullivanBlack and grins “This ones yours brother, go get him.” He says, walking over to the targets in the lobby, gun and some tape in hand. Ryubi hastily walks to his targets and begins to tie them up one by one, beating them when they struggle.
He gets them all to the middle of the room and onto their knees, pointing his gun at them all. He turns to the teller and smiles “Don’t forget to keep filling that bag love. Would be terrible if your face had more holes in it now wouldn’t it?” He says, laughing maniacally as he kicks one of the targets. |

It didn't take much convincing, Sullivan was already turning for the stairs as Ryubi/Ryuk gave the target over. Up to the second floor, and across the hallway to the target's door. Locked... Of course it was locked. Guns had gone off in the lobby. The door was probably barricaded even. Not that it mattered. Sullivan took a step back and raised his foot, placing it near the doorknob. He gave a light push, then lifted his foot and gave a quick test kick... Lastly, he lowered his foot to the ground, took a step back with it, then stepped forward and raised his foot high. In one swift motion, the sole of his shoe met the door directly beside the doorknob. He heard the crack of wood splintering, the sound of the metal lock biting into the frame... One more time, he repeated the motions and kicked... More cracking, and yelling from the other side of the door. Bullets tore through it at that point and one whizzed by Sullivan's head, another catching his coat jacket as he side stepped from the sound of the first shot. "Mother fucker, that was my good jacket, too," he groaned out before growing a bit angry. Taking no more time, he gave the door a kick with ALL of his might. The door splintered and shattered into pieces with a loud, knocking, cracking sound. Shrapnel from the door flew everywhere into the room as Sullivan stepped inside. The man stood and pointed his gun at Sullivan and screamed out, "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER OR I'LL SHOOT YOU!" Sullivan, not one to ever follow the flow of things, decided today was the day he'd test fate. Maybe he was like his brothers, maybe he wasn't, but he was tired of not knowing the truth. Holding up his hands, Sullivan nodded, "Okay, okay... Hold that thought. This is a nice suit and you already put one hole in it. I wanna be reburied in it one day." He let his jacket slide to the ground and quickly ripped the shirt open with perhaps the most insane looking smile on his face. "Let's see how well you can shoot. Right here, hmm?" He took two steps forward with his arms out after pointing to his chest. *BANG* *BANG* Sullivan stopped moving forward after the first shot, and stumbled backward after the second. The man, satisfied with the stopping power of his weapon and the bullets ripping into his assailants face, mistakenly lowered his weapon. Sully, on the other hand, looked down at his bleeding gut and chest, wincing. "Ohhhhh, that definitely hurts as bad as I remember it hurting... BUT!" He looked up, his eyes glowing a bright, unnatural, icy-blue hue as he did so. "I don't feel myself slipping away. Ohhh Heaven can be a Hell of a drug!" The energy inside the whole building shifted as Sullivan's wounds cleared and healed up. That creepy feeling of someone, or someTHING, is watching you from the shadows. That was the energy that flooded the immediate area inside the building. The man that had shot him was frozen near stiff in fear, trembling like a neurotic chihuahua that knew they were in trouble. In the blink of an eye Sullivan was upon him. "Behind you, Mr. Wells. I hope you made peace with whatever God you believe in." It felt like slow-motion. Wells started to turn, but before he could even raise his gun, Sully had ripped both of his arms out of socket, blown out the man's knees, and probably cracked a rib or two. In pain, and immobilized, Sullivan drug Wells out of his office and pressed his face against the wooden railing of the balcony. "See your people down there?" Wells nodded as he whimpered. "Pray for their souls, not your's. I can promise you, your's goes to Hell." A swift kick to the back of Wells' head brutally forced his face through the wooden railing, bloodying him up as splintering wood tore away the skin. Screaming in agony, Wells flailed around, stuck on the railing with Sullivan's foot on the back of his neck. "Goodbye, Mr. Wells." Sullivan raised his foot one last time, and brought it down with enough force to impale the man's throat on the broken railing. Gurgling, Sullivan left him to bleed out and die, claiming his soul. Gathering his jacket, he walked back, stepping on the dying Wells and placed one hand on the sturdy part of the railing, vaulting himself over it. He landed squarely on his feet, crouching as he did so, and stopping the rest of his decent with one hand to the ground. Standing, his gaze landed on Ryubi. "Where are the others?" He stood there blood covered, jacket off, and shirt open revealing his lean, tattooed, and scarred torso. "We should move this along quickly. Any word from our ride or eyes? We've got roughly seven minutes and fifty-three seconds left to get the fuck out of here..." |

Magda pulled up in front of Koi who was so distracted watching for cops that she didn't notice the very nondescript car coming toward her until it suddenly stopped. Mags reached across the front seat and threw open the door, "GET IN!" Knowing they only had minutes left before police arrived she hit the gas before Koi had even closed the door and did a u-turn in the street heading back toward the bank. She all but put the car onto the curb when she reached the bank. She didn't even have time to put it into park before her cohorts came running out to meet them. The sight of them was a thing Magda wasn't likely to forget, but it wasn't the first time she'd seen that amount of blood. The bitter metallic taste in her throat. "GO!" someone screamed snapping her out of the dark place she'd returned to. Scared out of her mind, she whipped the wheel as far as it could go and put the pedal to the floor. The engine roared to life, the wheels squealed ... The goats screaming. The car fishtailed onto the street. The sound of sirens could be heard distantly. She had to focus. Had to keep her mind here and now, not ... there. Dropping one of her hands to her thigh, Magda sunk her nails deep into herself. The pain she caused herself in the present, caused her to shake of the memory of the immeasurable pain she felt back then and suddenly she had the car under control once more. Looking in the rearview mirror she swallowed the lump in her throat. For a moment she met Sullivan's eyes and then she tore them away. No. She couldn't think about it. It's not possible. Dead people don't rise from their graves. Singing? So cold. So hungry. The fire distantly bright. Fingers in her hair. Gentle shushing. The voices of her companions talking pulled her back again. The cops were closer now. It took her a moment to orient herself, to realize where she was and to pick what she hoped would be a path to safety. |

| I screamed, hitting my head getting into the car. Those stupid sirens ate getting way too close for comfort! I practically got whiplash, lol. But I felt I did my job I never saw any coppers, or anyone that could have caused problems for this job, as long as they were able to finish it. Mags and I are alive still, so that's a good sign. | |
