Vim and his amazing band Bad News where playing at one of Chicago's swankiest night clubs, Vim was totally oblivious to the jeers  and shouts of "fuck off bad news" & "Vim is Dim"  coming from the crowd ad as the gig came to an end Vim took center stage to take a bow,  while a bottle narrowly misses him and hits on of the sound guys.

"Hey that nearly hit fucking hit me" Vim scans the crowd,annoyed that some sad individual dint like the show.  As the band exits the stage a huge cheer can be heard from the crowd.

"See they love us" Vim beamed, as the sound guy was being attended to.

Pollo who had organized the even to show everyone how great Chicago was shuffle nervously in his seat. Hulk and the other assorted members of the shadow organization known as the council looked on horrified.

Vim made his way from backstage to where everyone of importance was and joined them, A huge smile on his face and a swagger that implied he had balls the size of watermelons.

"What ' Cha think Boss? We would have fucking blown Benny Goodman off the stage tonight." 

The council cringed at the deluded Vim and couldn't help but think there was some kind of ulterior motive behind Pollo suggesting that Vim head up his own organisation.

Pollo removed his ear plugs and smiled.

"It was great, Vim. You would have blown the New Orleans Rhythm Kings right off the stage, no problem. Like I said to my friends here, I think its time you took Bad News on tour. Say Detroit?"

Vims eyes light up he had been hopping to take the show out West to Vegas or LA, But Detroit Rock City was an great opportunity.

"Are you fucking serious? Dont be fucking with me man, I could do this. Simplicity and FatherJack could handle managing the band and setting up the gigs. It wont take long to get my roadies packed and ready to move out at all" 

Vim was so giddy he didnt even notice the wry smiles coming from the council.

"So I can set up my own place then?"

The rest of the council nodded in agreement somewhat distracted as a gurney rolled by with a rather dead looking sound guy on it. Apparently the bottle contained acid.

"Man this is awesome my pad will have hookers and blow and all the Bad News ballads that you can listen to." Exclaimed Vim, Not noticing the gurney roll by with his dead sound guy on it.

The council smiled at Vim, some making up excuses of having a fear of music others of watching paint dry the next time they were in Detroit. Vim wondered at that but shrugged all the same and went off to deliver the news to Simplicity and FatherJack.

Trey had been in the crowd the night Bad News played in Chicago. Vim had been so woeful that even Trey, who was partially deaf, couldn't stand it anymore and abruptly launched a bottle filled with acid towards Vim in the hope he'd shut the hell up...or just partially deform him. Either would be fine, so long as that dreadful racket ended. Unfortunately Trey had missed the mark and ended up murdering the Sound guy in the back. RIP.

After the gig, Pollo had mentioned to the crew that Vim had requested a few people come over with him to help fill up his tour bus and make him look more popular. Pollo said he didn't care who went, so long as somebody went across. Pollo then left us in the HQ bar. 

We all looked at one another, figuring out who would take on the unwanted role of roadie to Vim. Lushique said they couldn't go, they were far too scared of flying, while Jenny_Stewart said nothing at all. In the end, Alana made us all pull straws and Trey ended up with the short straw.

Swearing to himself he packed up his belongings and made his way to go and see Vim, who seemed to be under the impression that Trey had volunteered for the opportunity.

This was going to be a long journey.
