"Take your man on the left. I got the right."

Eddie was leaning against the back of a truck with Abe-Bernstein in Denver. They had a plan, one that needed perfecting. It had to be done tonight, no excuses from either man.

The plan was a simple one. They needed to knock out the two guys by the truck, steal the truck, then drive it back to Hollywood, Los Angeles. It needed to be stored away securely in Eddie's warehouse... Somewhere nobody would find it for now.

Eddie nodded to Abe and together they took down the men by the front of the truck. Eddie dusts off his trousers and lights up a smoke, offering one to Abe. He gets into the passenger seat of the truck and allows Abe to drive. Abe was usually the wheel man for this type of thing.

They got back to the warehouse in Hollywood, and Eddie gets out of the truck, lighting another smoke as he did so. Going round to the back of the truck he opens the back doors and has a look inside. Fucking jackpot. Mission accomplished.

There was enough Moonshine in the back of the truck for them to sell to keep them going until New Year's. All that was needed now was to set up a meeting with one of the local casino's downtown.

"Abe, go down to that place I brought you to last week. Tell Paulie... Eddie wants to see him over at the warehouse. Nine o'clock tonight. If he's late we don't do business again. Capiche?"

As Abe left, Eddie jumped into the back of the truck to have a better look around. He found a few weapons in one of the crates too. What a night it had been for the guys. This was gonna get them up and running for better rackets to come. It was just the beginning. Soon the world was going to know the name Eddie Stobart.
