As you walk down Main Street you see an old looking brick building. It is very well kept up, but you can tell it has been there for a while. You see a new sign in the window that says The Temperance Bar. Curious, you push open the door and step inside. Once your eyes adjust to the dim lighting, you realize it is a lot bigger than it appears from the outside. You see tables spaced nicely throughout the first part of the building, with small vintage menus on them. As your eyes continue, about halfway across the building you see the large bar, with a decently sized stage across from it. A dark curtain stretches from wall to wall behind the bar and stage. Beyond the mostly closed curtain, you catch a glimpse of poker tables set up. You see Angel speaking with the bartender in her signature, and beautiful, red dress. As she sees you walk in, she ends her conversation and walks over to you, smiling.

Hello there! Welcome to The Temperance Bar. To the left is our bar, where Jeeves will help you quench your thirst. Also, once you take a look at the menu, you can place your order at the bar as well, if you would like something to eat. To the right there is our stage, where our own jazz group performs, as well as the occasional special guest. Beyond that, behind the curtain, is our own personal casino. Back there you can play slots, roulette, craps, or blackjack.

Angel smiles warmly and gestures you to one of the mahogany bar stools. As you take a seat, you decide to take a look at the menu while you wait for Jeeves.

Getting himself comfortable he leans back and looks over the menu, noticing Jeeves he looks up

I'm not sure what I'll have to eat yet, but in the mean time can I get a double jack and white?

leans back in the chair once more, takes out a packet of cigarettes and lights one

I have to say Angel, this is one hell of a menu, I just don't know where to start.

Angel, girl, with the way you been greasin' my pockets I gotta give you business!

Sits at the counter, slams down a big bill.

The finest--and by that, I mean highest proof--schnappes you got!

As Angel walks around checking on her customers, she pauses by Tom and gently places her hand on his shoulder.

Well Tom, personally I like to start with the desserts first. They are my favorites.

Smiles and winks at Tom and moves down the bar to CHpistol and says to Jeeves.

Jeeves darling make sure to give this man what he wants.

the muffin takes a look at the menu and hops from one side of the menu to the other side to take a look at the for him gigantic menu
after he decided what he wanted the muffin hops towards the bar looking at the comfy chairs around him and the nice looking tables


he climbs up the bar and seems to not get the barkeepers attention

HELLO? he screams a few times

he appears to have a squeeky voice

ah now that i finally have your attention: i'd like a small sized sandwich and a small sized glass of coke, if i ordered a normal sized one i would probably drown in it

the muffin pulls out a 5$ bill here, is this enough?

Angel walks over and sees Muffin having a difficult time getting the barkeeps attention. Standing next to Muffin, Angel signals for Jeeves to come over to her.

Jeeves would you be a dear and get Muffin here what he wants? I hope you enjoy it all Muffin!

He looked down at the piece of paper, then back up at the sign. 

Yep, this is the place.

He entered, took off his coat and hung it by the door, and made his way to the bar.  He took a look around, spotted a friend and waved.

Hey Muffin.  How you doing?

He sat on a stool at the bar dnd took another look around.  He smiled and got up.

Hey Angel.  How is business?  Have time for a lunch break?

Sees Andrew walk in and walks towards him, smiling. She hugs him warmly and gestures towards a table.

Of course Andrew dear I always have time for lunch with a good friend. Have a seat, have a drink. How are you?

Smoothes her dress as she takes the seat Andrew pulled out for her.

I'm doing well.  Thank you. 

Motions for the waiter to join them.

Looks like business is good so far. 

He pauses momentarily to give the waiter his drink order then motions to Angel.

What are you drinking today?

I think I will have a Jack and coke, as well as a glass of water please.

Smiles at the waiter as he leaves, then turns her attentions back to Andrew.

Yes business is starting to pick up a bit. I am thinking of opening up another branch, but only time will tell that. How is business for you? Staying out of trouble?

He laughed and nodded.

Yes, I'm staying out of trouble.  Things are going well.  We're getting everything organized here in Detroit.  It's hard work but it's worth it.

The drinks arrived and he took his glass in his hand.  He took a sip and returned it to the table.  He looked around the restaurant and bar while speaking.

This place really does look great.  It looks like you put a lot of hard work into it.  Now tell me, what's good on the menu?  I'm starved.

Thank you darling, I did. Now as far as the food, my personal favorite is the chicken fried steak. Get a side of mashed potatoes and green beans with it. The chef is amazing.

Angel nods to the waiter that that is her order, and crosses her legs, sipping at her drink.

i'm quite well this afternoon, doing some drug runs, pettying and after a day of work it always is nice to go to a bar and check thing out
it looks like i haven't chosen the wrong bar to hop in

he hops towards the jazz band being curious as always

He smiled, raised eyebrow as she ordered.

That sounds good.  I'll have the same. 

Drew winked at the chef as he handed over his menu, then got up from his seat and extended his hand to Muffin.

Good to see you Muffin. 

They shook hands and Drew returned to his seat. 

I can't wait for this meal.  Everything sounds great.  I'd ask you to join us Muffin, but it looks like you already ate.

Angel smiles warmly at Muffin.

Their meals arrived, and eyes wide Drew took it in.

Wow, this smells great.

He picked up his knife and fork and tore into the beef on his plate.  He picked up a piece with his fork and placed it in his mouth.

Mmmmm.

Fernando enters The Temperance Bar and is immeditely impressed with the joint, the interior was better than most businesses he had visited and the place was immaculately clean. He nods his head in approval and heads to the bar, it had been a long day full of business in Detroit and Nando decided to trea himself to a stiff drink.

Hi there, can i get a gin and tonic please.

Nando takes his drink and heads over to a table, his stomach had been making strange noises all day but due to work he hadn't had the chance to get anything to eat. He picks up a menu and browses through it deciding what to order. He comes across the Supreme steak breakfast, he had never had it before but it looked damn tasty and filling. He motions for the waiter to come over and places his order. He then sits back and sips his drink, looking around at the other customers to see if he knew anyone.

Angel signals for Jeeves to attent to Fernando

I hope you enjoy your meal I think you will find that our steaks are the finest in Detroit.

Business seems to be going decently in here, it is good to see the amount of effort you have put into this business. I honestly can't find a better in this city at the moment.

Hutch takes a few steps into the fine establishment and takes a look around. He sees a table and goes and takes a seat.

Waiter, I'm ready to have my order taken. I'll be having the Pork Tenderloin and a glass of whiskey on the rocks if you don't mind. That'll be all for now. I have some business to take care of after my meal. So can't be here forever. Although on St. Patrick's Day I'd love to be able to stay and drink until all my troubles are gone.

Hutch chuckles and smiles at the waiter. Then he hands him the menu from the table and sits back and waits for his meal.
