My general point? Judging by the attitudes of people here and each of the family heads names that are in their profiles, why should my son want to come back and try to make his way in a world that he obviously hasn't got a chance of making something of himself. Take a1capon3's offspring for instance. You can tell a dead CP leader these days as they come back and are made RHM just like that. What chance does anyone else have of being something? Why should I want to work alongside, or my son, people who make various immature comments just to make themselves feel and look big and scary? |

This is pointless, no matter what I say theres nobody to listen who's worth preaching too. Whatever I say theres gonna be either a one line insult or a two paragraph explanation of why I'm wrong, subtly placed with insults. Each to his own. |

| Mate my family has had more deaths and hard work blown down the tube that i can remember. We've died more than probably any other line(except maybe Evsie). Yet we always come back(though sometimes it takes a while). So what should you learn from all this, that you will not ever get everything to go your way and that you should just accept that you will die and that your heir will have to continue on in your footsteps. | |

You don't think the "CP's" have gone through tough times in the past???? Anyone can make anything out of their lives with a little work. This is a fact, and that's my point, Fisk. Giving up is the easy way out, and while I understand that, sometimes, that's the path you feel the need to take...it's not the way you HAVE to take. |

It may not be right but it's always been like that. No matter what happens on the street and in the HQs, the alliances forged in the coffee shops matter above all else and the offspring of trusted colleagues are given the same level of trust. If you want power, you better make some friends in the coffee shops so that you have back-up. |

Fisk please stop trying to dress this up as anything other than sour grapes, to do so is embarassing. Win or lose, I personally welcome such upheaval on the streets. Some of the people that died in the last few days, were friends of mine. People I'd worked with in previous families. But life goes on. My own bloodline has been on the losing side plenty of times. But that's why I'm here. To see war and dominance. The two are continuous. |

Id rather do things as I always try to do, what I thought was common practice. Be unknown, make a name for yourself and die unknown, never to return. But... eh I've always done the respectable thing, tried to get about the streets, but that doesn't matter to anyone. What matters is what your coffee shop name is, and it shouldn't be like that. If I was ever a crew leader I'd want to find someone who does give a shit about this world and watch them grow within my family, then get them set up themselves. But again, eh. |

| Aye would have to agree With Umbra there, matter of fact its actaully worse in the Old Country. You join a clique and you stay with that clique for life. Your clique battles with other cliques and so on and so on. They may change there name but they are still the same old cliques. | |

This is some of the worst stuff I've heard in a long time. My relatives come from the offspring of Dirk...yes, that fucking douchebag, and I've freely said it. They've watched for a long time as others have been recycled through the auth system, and the only positions any one of my ancestors was given was one University Professor...apparently my lineage was qualified to teach people what to do, but not actually be given a chance to do it (Three's ancestors did give me another opportunity, I should add). Here's my point... Again and again and again x100 (a safe estimate), my line has returned to suffer the same abuse time and time again, for things my grandfather's grandfather's grandfather did. And? So what? The thing I've learned is, while I may never get an opportunity (a well deserved opportunity considering some of the achievements my relatives have had), that's not what is important. I've learned that the whining of my relatives got me nowhere (well, on occasion I got a few donations from some in order to attempt to take down whoever was in power), and over time I've had the joy of proving a lot of naysayers wrong about me (through hard work...harder than most people that are given Right Hand positions, etc....Regina, you should understand this). That being said, it's been that, coupled with the friends I do have (yes, I really do have a few that don't think I'm an utter piece of shit around here), that have brought me back time and time again. And, over time, that's enough. So, if you think you'll get a fair chance in another world (think again, by the way...I've been there, done that), or think that by complaining about the way your father and his friends were taken down, you'll be sorely disappointed. Perhaps, this life really isn't right for you. I can't say that it is. But, this is the way of life around here. Prove people wrong and you'll receive satisfaction from it. I can attest to that. |
