Hey im new to this game , like not new new but yea a week old and i really love the role playing aspect of this game , i feel that it creates a very interesting and attracting part of this community , but now speaking about the game what i feel is that where do i stay ? as in i know my crew , i know i have a gun to wack i know ton other things but what about my address , so that is what i feel is missing in the game according to me , house/residences , so what i believe would  happen is that you can only buy a house in your home district so when ever you travel out of city you cant buy a house you have to rent a hotel , so now coming to hotels , other players can buy and run hotels in their districts , same concept as houses and when people travelling to another city it gets compulsory to stay in a hotel so he can select a particular hotel going by the listing depending on their prices and all , this could be another way of income in the game and make it more competing , i know i havent gone into details with this one its that im just giving it out as a basic idea if this feature is added im more than happy to help out and detail it ( i know no one needs me , just tryin to be helpful ^^ )

Those aspects are role-played out. You write that part of your character's story. Not everything has to be a cemented in place feature.

it is a role playing game , whatever feature helps in establishing more of that does make the feature better , i know you can do it by just role playing it , but by doing the same thing with a feature does not make it bad rather improve user experience :)

If a player writes their own character background/bio and advertises it in their profile quote it's more hands-on, they can apply their own style to make it unique and eyecatching, they can include whatever information they want to or don't want to. It shows the person behind the character is passionate about who their character is and where they came from. Please see the following profiles for examples of this:

Each one of these people has expressed their character's background in a unique manner that suits their character. It's not uniform. It can be done as a thread in your Back Alley, it can be done offsite with fancy smancy stories and pics, it can be in your profile. The point is it's up to the player behind the mask. 

Why would you want to make it a uniform feature when so many use it to show a bit of their character in their own words and style? 

Where a person lives or their extracurricular activities are the stories they post in the Streets, Business Districts, and in Back Alley (Linked in their profile quotes.). It's their story to tell in their way. This encourages their role-play. This keeps forums being used. 

Write about it, show the effort... Do something other games that call themselves "role-playing" don't do... Role-play! 

You can set up a hotel or a brothel or an apartment in the Business District and people, true RPers, will RP with you and will pay you for your services. This doesn't need to be a feature. It would take away from the RP.

i somewhat agree with you but then explain me this , shouldnt the pickpocket feature be rp'ed too and all those other features as well , but they create a sense of something , that something is there , i know role playing is creating something out of thin air but wouldnt be it more fun to play with that feature too and im not saying the forums activity will stop , there can be a way forums and hotels can be linked together like you have funerals after death you can have check-ins after a hotel visit or something like that , 

i know its about showing effort and writting about it but who says including a thing like this would end what all of these profiles have written in em they will change for sure but not end ? and if possible it can be made so that is completely personalized (as much as possible) by customization options , it would add to the rp rather than taking it away :D 

people might get better role playing ideas , for example a new player joins in and he hasnt played his fair share of rp games now what ? he is supposed to learn right ? wouldnt it be better if he can rp about something which is actually there and is in process not everyone has the best imagination ,

never did i say or think that RP part of the game would die from this 

Its a good suggestion but we have Headquarters where you sleep at and forts we buy for the headquarters to protect you. Most crew leaders wouldnt want you sleeping out of town in a hotel they rather you come back to your home city and sleep in your district  where the headquarter is and where the forts protect you. I dont think hotels will add to the mafia game.
