Keith looked up at his uncle as he spoke. It was just him and his uncle due to the unfortunate happenings of his parents, so the game he would teach him so he could soon make his own way. Keith was a young kat, but growing up with his uncle gave him a little bit of a head start in life, Flexx was always in the streets hustlin, making those ends meet at whichever corner he could. Laying the land for the youngster was his main goal besides getting himself right. Most of the time, they were making moves from city to city, Keith could see how his uncle made his moves and was always taking a mental note. At the same time, doing his own thing putting things together with the younger crowd he would run in too here and there. “Keith!. You hear me right?, Always keep your head on a swivel and when you make this drop watch your back. Take one of your young homies with you if you could. Being alone in this thang is dangerous enough. Especially being young in the game”. Flexx says as Keith nods agreeing to the advice. Knowing it was cut throat anything could happen at any time in these streets. He grabs the sack from his uncle. The location they lived was an ok apartment complex that definitely was run by a slumlord. His buddy Slipp stayed a few doors down. One of his closest homies he ran with in the streets, as well as one of his most trusted. He knocks on the door. “Who the fuck is it!” He hears a lady yell. It was Slipp’s mom. She lost her husband to the same game in these streets and was raising slipp on her own. “It’s Keith from down the way, is Slipp available?” Keith says as he waits. Slipp’s mother knew what her son was into and would always approach aggressively in any situation in case someone wanted to try them. It was a way of life in this thing here. Slipp makes his way to the door, opens it and daps his buddy Keith, “What’s good? Looks like you got some work.” Keith nods and they make their way out to the streets. Even though Keith stayed with his uncle, he had a small location of his own. It was a small warehouse with a few rooms in the back that if he needed to lay down for a sec in the middle of the night while he was making his moves he would be able too. It was right in his neighborhood so the crowd was his people. They make their way to their hideout to get the pack ready for delivery. They were going to the other side of town to drop packs off, so they had to be ready for whatever was to come, or what they could face, which was always a mystery. |

The streets were as real as could be. Cross the wrong person, and that could be the end. It was always some kind of battle going on, for odds and end, territories or even respect. Yes it was as small as that. The two hustlers finished packing the product to move it, as well as make sure they had the right materials to keep them on their toes if anything was to jump off. In this, the best drop and come up was usually in an unknown territory, or what could be called the opposition's hood. Definitely needed to keep your head on a swivel. Growing up under his uncle he saw many episodes and scandalous happenings on the daily. So they make their way up the block, down the alley, and through the city itself, and arrive right outside of the neighborhood they were making the delivery. Slipp had a little extra of his own product just in case they could fade a few sales on the way. Even in the thick you needed to make your moves. Whether it was hustlin or just snatching someone up that was not on the same level as you. It was more of a move of dominance. Some used words to push their dominance, and others used actions to put it in stone. So as they made their way up the block, the location was on the far side in an alley, which was patrolled by almost every hustler that stayed in that hood. Money was the motive so they continued with their head on a swivel. Every block they hit eyes was on them as they calmly approached the center of the hood. “Let’s hit this back alley, it should take us the rest of the way. Shouldn’t be too much trouble hopefully.” Slipp says as he takes another look behind them as they bank into the alley. The scene wasn’t that much better, but they had to make due. As they walked you could hear a few mumbles from the hustles keeping their eyes on them as they made their way. One of the thugs made a move on the two, but Keith took him to the ground and smacked him with his pistol a few times, brandishing it around to let whoever else wanted to step, would catch a hot one. Finally they made it to the location and saw a garage door open slightly. Keith ducks and takes a look inside. There was a gentleman sitting at a table with a few thugs standing to his side with pistols as well. They enter and introduce themselves as the new contacts for his delivery. Not as friends but pure business is what this was about. |
