Most contain past user names, so its really not my place to share.
Some have.
We wont know the exact number until its done, we are setting one up, testing the waters, setting one up, testing the waters and so on. |

Was in a container crew .... taken out by Durden (I get that during NORMAL game play, Durdens can, but in rebuild game mode ...... have a standard for fuck sake). Like everyone-else trying to build a account or a gun. I like the game and will play always, but how is this fair? What, I was not high enough ranked? Sad. I wasted a ton of Petty and Felony points to get to where I was, only to die by a fire back, in rebuild????? I will still play, but NEVER as much as I use to. Granted, I haven't bought as amny points (Credits) as before, but really???? A Durden death in rebuild??????? Tried to post in locked thread (My bad). Posting here just so I can get my thoughts across. Don't lock it if you don't want replies. |

It just sounds like a careless mistake mate, If you want to rebuild and not die then don't start shooting durdans you can't complain about that surely? stick to mia's and ria's there was plenty around and they are risk free. |

The real questions should be: Don't Container crews suck? How many container crews uppers are active? How many are affiliated with the bi5ch slap take downs? How many will commit suicide? AND MORE Importantly, who you will be forced to go with? |

We are trying hard to get the container crewed members into permanent homes where they wish to take them and have more crews going up shortly. Would you be able to confirm that the criteria contained in the opening post remains unchanged? There seems to be a view that Container CLs are able to remain up without Auth from the real leaders at the end of their tenure. Is this true? I also assumed the 98% rebuild and no no-contacts applied from whenever that had begun to happen. Is that correct or is it only after the container CLs disband? Thank you! |

The criteria from the first post is what I am using as the gauge. As of now, we have not met the conditions. For further clarification, the numbers need to be met without the container crews. (Example #1 being if a container crew gets two no contacts within a day, it does not reset the 2 week period. Example #2 being the 98% coverage does not include coverage by container crews)
This is addressed here https://mafiareturns.com/comm/thread/1495191/
The container crews will not start the process of drawing down until that condition has been met. If the numbers ever stray outside of the 98% and the 1 no contact, the timer resets. |

Quick question : now that we have quite a lot of empty spots all over the country (in different cities/families), why are container crews still allowed to recruit ? I agree they were needed when no space was available, but right now, allowing them to get new members make the problem worse... While container crews members move from their current families to other existing families, I feel like the number of people in the container crews should only go down by now. That would allow to move in the right direction in a smoother way, by continuously reducing the number of people that must move out of LV, as well as progressively reducing the number of container crews through time. |

Because without the container crews, there is not ample coverage for the job boards. The recruiters in the container crews from other crews help with the transition. Having the container crews greatly fills in the gaps where there is very little to no coverage from others. This means that new users arnt waiting around and giving up when there is no one to help them. By having container crews it allows regular crews to still function in their limited coverage until such time they can full take over. |

I try to provide many options so that the users can weigh their risk vs reward vs resource cost. You can do a safe shooting gallery, you cant die from that, but it really costs you in timers. You can do a safe BG shot, you cant die from that, but it costst you in time to find it. You can do an MIA, you can't die from that, but it costs you in cash or the time required to obtain a credit. But you chose an option which carries the maximum reward at the minimum overall cost by risking your account. I don't want to take the feature away from people who want to shoot at durdens - I want to provide all the choices and let the users choose what path they want to take. If you want to take zero risks, you need to choose the zero risk options and be OK with growing slower. |

Ah. Do you have the numbers without the container crews involved ? I would be curious to have an idea where we currently stand. By the way, I feel we are taking the problem backwards here. People who were awarded a container crew were precisely people who were pretty active, who loved to recruit members, to teach them and to help them grow. Moreover, additional crew members from everywhere with the same profile were sent to the container crews in an effort to get into contact with the recruited people and to help them find their way. Now that all these people are gone from the "regular" community, that we split the game in two, we reach the conclusion that without container crews, without these people precisely, we kind of lack a little something to reach a state you would like us to see functioning. Well, that is pretty much by design. In my opinion, the problem does not lie in the regular crews anymore. We have the open spots : I count 75 people in LV, including people sent from people who were sent from a regular family, for 250+ open spots. We can hire them several times over. I highly doubt they can't find a suitable family among all the current possibilities. If you include the people from the container crews in the regular families again, we will be fine. We will be where you want us to be. Like we always are some weeks after a war. The current issue lies precisely in this artificial split in the community, that was justified for a time, but that I don't see as necessary anymore. I guess what I am getting at is : put all those sponsors in container crews in current families, and we will have pretty much the same metrics as we do now. So we will be fine. |

As one of those people that was sent by a family to a container crew to assist in helping individuals transition, I get the frustration. I was very active in offering assistance both in the container crew and in the district. I received absolutely no questions or requests for assistance. It seemed there was no motivation for the transition to occur. It was indeed frustrating. That said the end to the container crew is totally in the hands of the current leadership. They just have to meet these criteria:
We are coming up on that 2 consecutive-week mark so if the non-container crews have done their jobs, than the container crews will soon be closing down. |

The timer gets reset every time that condition isnt true. The best way to ensure that the transition happens sooner than later is to increase the number of sponsors so that the job coverage can maintain 98% for 2 weeks without the container crews, ensure they dont keep doing no-contacts, and things will stop resetting. As of now that puts us still a little more than a week before we can start drawing things down. With luck you have enough sponsors so that it doesn't keep resetting due to lack of coverage or no-contacts. |

I see that quite a few container crews are gone now. Out of curiosity, would it be possible to know what kind of compensation the crew leaders who suicided got ? I heard about money to buy BGs, but no one was entirely sure if there was additional benefits or not (hustle points, credits, bonus stats, etc). Also, what happens if a container crew leader does not suicide ? Is it up to the community to decide whether they should be allowed to continue to run their operations or not ? |

The three options they have are addressed in the original post.
It is strictly a financial reward that the given to the Container Crewleader when they are done, that they then split with their staff. They did have enhanced defense during their container crew time, we went with this approach rather than BGs because it made sorting out whose BGs were whose when they went to dismantle a pain in the ass in the past. |

I hope you are safe and healthy Squishy. Now to bust some balls. Isn't seeking auth (container crew CL) pretty much the same as getting the communities approval? |

Safe healthy and happy, thank you for asking. I hope you guys are doing good?
Auth is traditionally given by other leaders. Those leaders are a very small % of the community. Someone can have 99% approval by the community and not get authed - as well as the opposite being 99% disapproval and still get auth. There is no majority rules situation when it comes to auth. |

We are good Squishy. Thanks for asking.
I know the auth is granted by other leaders. THough those leaders are a small percentage of the community, they still have the upper hand and final say. With their approval comes do as I say theme... It's bullshit. |
