"The Bite is a gift, don't you see that?" Scott raised an eyebrow, his eyes widening ever so slightly as he crossed his arms over his chest with an uneasy smile twitching at his lips. "The Bite? Listen here pal, I don't know what kind of sexed-up shit you're into but I have college to go to in the morning...I can't be running around the woods looking for a make-belief fairytale alright?" Derek chuckled if only he knew. Deciding to play this differently, the kid had just entered a new world. One that had never been seen by anyone without being what they were, a monster in some ways and others were just trying to get by. "It's not make-believe Scott, the Alpha chose you and he bit you. Either you join his Pack or he kills you, your friends, your mother. Even Lydia." And like that Scott's head shot up, glowing a golden yellow as he watched the man, obviously a wolf as well. Looking for any sign of moment from the man but all he got was a simple smirk in return, Scott realized what was happening. He felt a burning sensation in his eyes before noticing that he was hearing things that he shouldn't be able to hear...growling to himself, he slammed a fist into the ground. "Now you believe me? You're more than just a human now, Scott. You were chosen by the Alpha, you and me, we're brothers now. I am going to help you hone this gift, as long as you help me in return." Scott looked up at the man, he didn't even know his name and yet he knew him. Looking at his features, the way the leather jacket clung to his body like a second skin. He obviously kept in good shape, there was no doubt about who or what he was. Seeing this man for all he was worth, his senses already telling him, he was stronger. "Why? What do you want from me? Clearly I am a newbie in this kind of life, I have nothing to offer...I'm a nobody in this world that I've been dragged into! This is not my war but apparently, I have to make it mine now." The man crouched down, and now flashes his eyes, the crystal blue stared back into Scott's chocolate brown eyes. It was almost like he was trying to say something to him now, indeed, he was. "The Alpha killed my sister, she was the second to my mother, a fire burned my family's house down. Soon after that, everything changed. I left this town, my sister stayed, wanting to fortify her pack. It grew, the Hale Pack was strong again. Only then she was killed, I looked it up, talked to Alphas all over the states. Her betas...they all said that she was blitzed and she lost afterwards, my sister is not like that. She would have been ready, that gives me a reason to say that she knew her attacker." Scott looked back at the man, he knew who this was...Derek Hale, his family were burned to death in a big fire. There were only a few survivors, looking back at him, he didn't decide on pity. "I'll help you...not to simply look after my mom, my friends, my girlfriend. I want to help you avenge your sister, you know Derek if your sister knew your attacker and knew them enough to not attack...they could be family." Derek simply gave Scott a look in return, he had already thought of that. He knew that was an option and not one he was looking forward to discovering. He walked away, leaving Scott in the preserve to catch his bearings. |

"You met Derek? As in Derek Hale? He's back in town?" Scott gave his best friend a blank look, he did just say that, didn't he? Deciding to sigh and nod his head, he barely caught sleep last night. He had just made it in for at least two or three hours that was enough for him, then he looked around, feeling crawling on his skin, almost like a warning before turning around and coming face to face with Lydia. Soon, his girlfriend jumped into his arms and all he did was wrap his arms around protectively. He looked down at her, he felt calm now and almost as nothing bothered him. All the thoughts of the shit yesterday had gone into the back of his mind. "You trying out for Lacrosse? The team could really use you, remember, even coach said he wanted to play you. Scottie, please! You could really do it this year and not have to worry about anything for a while, this would be good for you, for us." Looking down into the captivating eyes of his girlfriend, Lydia Martin. Boy was she something, smart, popular, and one of the most attractive people attending Beacon Hills College. "To answer both your questions, yes I did meet Derek Hale. No idea why he's back in town, I guess something about...family business. And, yes, I will also be trying out for Lacrosse." Lydia raised a brow at that, he had never told her that. Derek Hale seemed to be one of the greatest town's mystery's, a man like that. He was a tragedy story waiting to be written, of course, her curiosity was something different. She simply wanted Scott to be safe with whatever he was involved in. Before they could ask any questions though, the bell rang out and soon students departed, hurrying to their next class as Scott and his friends stood by their lockers for a second before heading off as well. Though Scott and his thoughts kept wandering to what Derek had told him, this Alpha, what did he want and why did he specifically mark him?" |

Scott ran all the way home after college, not feeling like he needed to stop and that was when he felt it. The feeling of dread, fear, and death...all mixed together in one potent smell that had him rushing into his home. Looking around, he found that nothing was out of place, everything seemed okay and then he went upstairs, checking his mother's room and that is when he saw it. The blood, his mother's blood on the floor and like that, he almost snapped...he reigned over his wolf with a mighty pull. He could feel the anger, who had done this? "Hello, Scott..." Turning around, he knew who this was, a wolf...but what was he doing here? Stepping forward, Scott's eyes were boring into his and they flashed amber. Alerting the man that he was not in a state where he was going to be listening if he had something to do with this. Knowing when he needed diplomacy, the man had raised his hands up in surrender, he was sure that he was stronger than McCall but anger...it gave some wolves strength. "Who are you? Why are you here? I never knew that there were more of us around, especially in California." The elder man chuckled before walking past Scott, noticing the blood and Scott did notice but the whites of the man's eyes had gone, leaving an amber glow to his eyes, giving him the true look of a wolf. This man was powerful, even without Scott knowing as he turned his head to face him. "I represent the Malroux Family, we operate in Beacon Hills. We once operated beside Talia Hale when she ran things as the Godmother. We were once petty families, feuding over territory and bullshit like money-making opportunities. We are involved in criminal endeavours, Scott McCall. It's the 1930s...with the Hale's gone...we're looking to take control." And Scott had no idea what was going on now, he was really confused, whatever this man was looking to offer. He could not allow himself to get caught up in...Wolves, Territories, and now crime!? What type of fucking world was this? The Malroux family? This was something that Scott was just learning, he knew nothing about this world and now this person was talking to him about it, why? "What do you want from me? How did you even come to know of me?" The man chuckled, it wasn't that hard sensing a new werewolf and looking at him now. He could see this kid was going to go far, already having a pretty good control on his wolf, not everyone did that and right now, he had impressed him this much. Maybe he would be of value to the Malroux Pack, he would just need to learn what it meant to submit. His Alpha had bitten him, now he needed to learn the ways of their world. "We have wolves of your age, we sensed you and placed you back here. It wasn't that hard Scott. We want you in the Malroux family, to learn what it means to be one of us. It is not an easy job being what we are, trust me, I would know. I was born into this, you were not and already, you have such a tight grasp on your wolf." Scott raised his brow, was it always that hard for others? Looking at the man, the way he looked at him in amusement, it was. Something that Scott gulped at, wondering what was already making him so different before he breathes in softly. Now wondering what the man wanted as he wished to find his mother. "We want to help you find your mother Scott, your Alpha is already failing. Come to the diner, Olly's Pizzeria. You won't miss it, and we will help you find your mom. And maybe, you'll find yourself wishing for a family." With that, the man walked away, leaving him to think about the offer and wondering what he was going to tell Derek...or if he should even tell Derek about this at all? |

Scott walked into the Pizzeria and already, he felt on edge as many of the occupants looked at him with smirks. Only then, he noticed something odd, one of his friends were there. Yen, she was Lydia's friend and had always been one of the people to support their relationship, with a weary grin...he waved before walking forward, which she did as well and soon embraced him in a hug...seemingly rubbing herself upon him like an animal of some kind...marking him. Pushing her back ever so slightly so that there was a bit more personal space between them, he looked at her for a moment, noticing the blush on her face at that. "Uh, I was told I would be meeting someone here Yen...I-" Scott cut himself off as Yen smirked, showing her wolf-like eyes, glowing a bright golden yellow, the whites of her eyes gone and it left Scott in shock that he had never fully realized what his friend had been. She blushed once again at the look on his face before she moved them over to a booth, giving them a bit more privacy, knowing that he needed to process this. "My whole family are wolves...the Malroux organization, did you ever wonder why we were so rich and how we did it? This was it, we protected the town with the Hales. It was a sweet gig until the...hunters came and fucked it up for them. Now, we are the only original Beacon Hills pack left, of course, the other packs didn't do shit...fucking assholes." Scott raised his eyebrow, at least her mouth hadn't changed. She was protective and one of the few people that understood the real Lydia Martin, something that had all of them shocked, knowing that Lydia was not natrually mean but she had to be to get where she was now. "The other packs? There's more than just one?" Shaking her head, Yen decided to tilt her head and she realized just how new Scott was, he was a natural choice to become a werewolf. Even though some were born into being what they were, a lot of wolves were bitten and became greater than even the born wolves. Something that a lot of Alphas took into notice, a life like this, just like the mob was not something someone chose lightly. She knew her legacy walking into this, her father had told her and she was ready. "Of course there is Scott, and you're in the establishment of one of the most revered packs in the West. The Malroux Pack. Heh, it will be interesting to see what you do Scottie." Yen left after that, knowing that Scott needed a moment to process everything that was happening right now. No one could simply sit there and listen to bombshell after bombshell, especially when he needed to find his mother. |

"Scott McCall, we're glad you came. I'm Phillipe Malroux, call me Phil. I operate here and with other organizations across the states, we took notice of you and your turning. You are marked by one of our own, I wonder if you know what that means...though I am sure that I can come to let you know soon enough, please keep calm. I do not want you to fear or be alarmed for what is going to happen next or what I am going to say." Scott nodded, already liking the man for being honest at the very least and he leaned forward. Noticing how the others seemingly did there own thing, giving the two privacy enough to talk. "Sir, I just wish to find my mother...this Alpha whoever he is...has taken her, do you know who it is?" A chuckle escaped Phillipe, the Alpha had been someone they had not noticed for a while. A bit embarrassing really, they had known that Laura Hale had been scoping New York, Las Vegas, and Detroit for someplace for the Hale organization to call home, something that needed to happen and now wouldn't happen. Laura was dead, the Hale pack would not have its great return into the world. "We have our leads, this Alpha, he's crazed though. Something different about him, he knows that this would have got the attention of other organizations out there. We are not the only ones out here, just the most revered. Some are deeps in the bayou of many other states, backwater places where they roam, we are more civilized and wish to operate comfortably. That's what I am offering you, Scott. Become my Beta, sit at this table and you will have the resources of the Malroux family at your disposal. I also know that my granddaughter, Yen has taken a shine to you, marking you." Scott raised a single brow, not knowing what to say about that. He shrugged it off, wondering why this man had wanted him. He knew that he had just turned, and he had some amount of control over what he was, looking at him, he could see the interest in the man's eyes and decided to test something out. "Sir, I know I'm new to this society. My mother has always kept me off the streets and safe from the world, what you're offering is a criminal lifestyle, one that I don't know I can accept...why are you so interested in me? So much so that the man watching us from behind the cashier's counter is watching us with bated breath." Scott turned his head, nodding towards the man who only sent him a smirk in return. He didn't like this, maybe he should not have come here. this world was already proving a bit different for him. "Scott, I'll be honest...I wanna protect you, this man, this killer...he won't be stopped with the combined efforts of just you and Derek Hale...let us help you." Scott looked down, a chuckle escaped him and he knew at that moment, it was the wrong thing to do but he couldn't help it. He had just been lied to, looking into his eyes, Scott could see the generosity and care but there was something else. A gleam of ambition and desire, shaking his head, it was just like his father said. "Phillipe, you just lied to me. I can hear your heartbeat and you lied to me. You don't wish to protect me, so I'll think I'll be leaving now..." Scott made to stand up before he heard that audible growl, his eyes narrowing on the sound as he turned his head with a disbelieving gasp...he looked at the eyes of the man before him. Gone were the kind colour of pastel green eyes, now they were a burning red... |

"Youth, how they seem to forget that you should respect your elders....heh, kid, I am giving you a chance at something...don't you dare throw it away and say that I lied. I gave you the truth, I wish to protect you." Phillipe stood now and so did Scott, noticing how two people stayed back, watching with fear in their eyes. Scott rolled his neck before he looked back at Phillipe, letting him know that if this was going to happen...he was going to be putting up a fight, no matter how much experience he had. "Tell me, if that's the truth...how comes when you spoke about me and Derek, about how our combined efforts wouldn't bring down this mad man, your heart skipped a beat, you lied to me! And I'm leaving, I can't knowingly work for someone. Beholden to you if you wish to lie to me...this gift you wish to bring me, it's has something to it, something that I won't be apart of, I'll be leaving, one way or another!" And like that, all hell broke loose! Scott felt the heat burning up within him before finally....he was swept to the floor and looked up into the eyes of the shifted man on top of him...Scott wheeled up a punch, knuckle connecting against jaw as a deafening CRACK! Echoing throughout the pizzeria and it was almost like time froze...Scott had just knocked out another wolf. "Haesten! Fine, McCall, you asked for this..." And Scott almost felt like daggers were stabbing and slashing at his body, it was only then that he realized...they were fucking claws! SHIT! Kicking the man off of him, Scott kicked up and looked around the pizzeria, noticing how he had been cornered before deciding that was enough, his eyes glowed and his nails elongated before deciding to move forward, he slashed at the wolf that took him down, it was sloppy and not coordinated but he knew, he connected with some blows. Scott was taken to the ground by the wolf, knowing that the McCall boy was being sloppy with his blows but they packed a mean punch. Soon Scott was taken to school, he had known that as soon as the man got the advantage, he would not be winning this battle and decided to preserve himself, reaching deep within and he headbutted the wolf on top of him before stabbing his claws deep into gut... "ENOUGH!" Phillipe had called this fight to an end, knowing when his wolves were beaten. Scott McCall may have been new but by the looks of things, he had his smarts and his strengths. He would not be joining their organization or their pack anytime soon... "You may go, Scott, only from this on, if you step onto Malroux territory again, you will be killed and not in the pack way. In the way, we settle things back home. Yen, see him out and make sure he understands the error of his ways..." Scott breathed in heavily, looking around him before walking towards and noticed Yen looking at him. He simply looked towards the door, wishing to keep moving forward as he knew that he had to go see Derek, they had to find out who the fucking Alpha was... |

And now, Scott and Yen sat in the Beacon Hills diner, each of them enjoying a burger. It was a nice little meal from what happened moments before, Scott fighting had been something of a subject they did not dance around. "So, you fought my father..not many people have held up well against him and that's saying something. I've never been one to stand by and simply watch but that fight, it wasn't right. My grandpop didn't have any right to force you into the family, we all earn, you just started. I don't think he understands that we were all young once but what happened to you, it's not fair..I'll help you find this guy, on my own time and I'll make sure we find your mom." Scott looked up at her, dipping a fry in some barbecue sauce for a moment and wondering what her grandfather had meant back in the Pizzeria. He had said something that they stayed in his head until now, he watched her for a moment wondering what exactly that had meant for him and for her. "Back in the pizzeria, your grandfather mentioned something about marking...he said you did that to me, what exactly is that? I have considered myself quite curious and I wouldn't want to enter this world a little unknowing of what you've done..." At that, the red blush came back and Scott wondered what was wrong, she seemed nervous to even talk about that. Which was never a good sign for him at least, he wondered what the fellow woman could be hiding from him. It wasn't that bad, was it? 'When a wolf marks another wolf, it typically means their open to mating, Scott. I did that, cause I've liked you for a while now...' Is what she would have said...only she was never going to state that aloud. Nor did she wish too, she knew what her best friend and Scott had was something special. No matter what happened now, even if they were going to be on opposite sides now. Yen knew that nothing was going to be getting in the way of what those two had together, even her. She was not going to use what she and Scott had to her advantage, she was kind and knew how things worked. "When I marked you, it means I was protecting you...you're an omega, and they often die alone...not safe. I wished for something like that once upon a time. I never got that, so I will give that to you Scott, I will protect you, no matter the cost." Even if it came at the cost of her love for him, Scott McCall was precious and being dropped into this world was not something he even deserved. It was not fair for him, his life had been turned upside down and he wished to find his mother. She would help with that, she wished to make sure that he would have some kind of normal for him, something that helped him achieve a better understanding of their lives now. Scott smiled, though he did feel a bit off with what happened...he had never apologized to her and he felt that he should, reaching forward, he grasped her hand and making sure to look in her deep eyes of hers, he was not going to forget one moment of this. He showed sincerity for a while now, since this had all started, he seemed calm and much better than before. "Thank you Yen, you've done so much for me, I only hope that I can repay you one day. Something that you deserve so much of, you've done this for me and I hurt your family, I'm sorry. Please, give your father my respects. I didn't mean to start violence or bring a bad look to you as a daughter. I wanted to get out, to leave and I need to find my mom...I will not rest until I find her and I know I have some of the greatest people helping me out with that." Yen smiled, looking down at his fries and swiping one before leaning back, enjoying the moment between friends for what it was worth. |

Soon after they ate, Yen had followed Scott home and it was here they ran into someone familiar to Scott, someone who simply sat on the porch to Scott's home waiting with a small disinterested look on his face. "Derek Hale, we've got to stop meeting like this, this is how rumours begin and I don't know about you but I am tied to a rather pretty strawberry blonde." Derek chuckled before throwing Scott a bored look, wanting to get this show on the road and tell him what he found out about the Alpha. It would be better to get this out of the way, only then he noticed the woman by his side, raising his eyebrow as she simply waved back at him. "Who's this Scott? I don't think Ravenettes count as Strawberry, and here I thought the enhanced eyesight would give you something...I see....differently." Shaking his head, Scott walked inside his home, knowing that his two companions would follow him. He would need to talk about these plans for the future anyway, what they wished to do about the Alpha and how he would have to be dealt with a bit differently. He had to have turned someone else, someone that would keep an eye on things for him. "Derek Hale, Yen Malroux, Yen, meet Derek Hale. I hear your two families have quite the history together, I only learnt this afternoon, considering that her grandfather wanted me to join his pack..yeah thanks for that warning Derek!" Derek shrugged, the Malroux family were a none issue for him, everyone and every organization knew the rules regarding California, especially regarding Beacon Hills. "Derek, they wish to take control and bring Beacon Hills into an area of their territory. That's something I hear, a bit different, a bit on the side that you wouldn't like. I don't know, I wonder if they ever came to your sister about that. Considering she was the last leader of your organization. Now, I don't have time to even deal with that. You talk to Phillipe on your own time, this Alpha, he took my mom...what do you know?" Derek settled himself quite comfortably, though he did a little twitch at the nerve of the Malroux family, once he settled things with his family hierarchy, he would pay those guys a little visit. "I learned a few things at the hospital...things that I shouldn't be telling you but I guess you deserve to know the truth of the matter. My Uncle, Peter Hale survived the fire, I went to find him, ask questions. He wasn't there, no one has seen for a few months, the Alpha started attacking a few months back Scott." Shifting his head to the side, the reveal was there and plain to see....his uncle had been to bite him that night...such a night that he never even remembered, it just jumped at him. Deciding then and there, he knew what he could be offering to Derek, he wanted to help him, to finally get that closure with his family, something he truly deserved. |

"How do you want to handle this Derek?" Scott asked him because he knew, the look on his face, his last relative and the one thing he needed right now. Scott wasn't going to heading with an assault on the man himself, he wished to make sure that Derek was okay with this. He was the last member or...sane member of his family's legacy and of course, Scott wished to have his support in this matter. Meanwhile, Yen watched the two men and could see that even though neither of them trusted one another, they trusted one another enough to let this go. She smirked, taking a seat at a chair and grabbing herself an apple. She could use a snack and she did promise Scott help in finding his mother, if it led down this path, so be it...this needed to be done, for her family as well. "I can't let him continue terrorizing people but I can't let him be killed. He's my last remaining relative Scott, I need him in my life...do you get that?" Of course, he did, his Uncle has his mother fucking hostage. All he could do was nod and wonder what was next for them, only that had been answered once the phone in Scott's home rung out and the young man rushed to answer it, wondering who it could be but then he heard it, his mother on the other end of the phone... "Scott...Scott...are you there?" Her quiet voice, he knew that it had only been a few moments but this was truly killing him. He could do nothing right now, he was weak and all he could do was play the game that this man had laid out for him. Only...he wondered, what could have made Derek's Uncle lash out and attack Laura? Something was not adding up, he was going to find out... "Mom I'm here, I promise...I'm going to find you and nothing like this is going to happen ever again. I have your back, you're going to get through this, you hear me?" His mom could only give a soft yes before the phone had been given to someone else. His deep breaths came through the phone, Scott knew who this was, the Alpha, Peter Hale. "Hello, Scott. I've been waiting for this meeting, I have to say, you've already made quite the impression around town. From my eyes and ears, I hear that you've come across the Malroux family business, they're a bunch of people that I haven't come to know yet..though I will soon enough." Silky and dangerous, that is what he got from this man's tone of voice, he was also confident. Guaranteeing that he was going to be winning in whatever war he was preparing for, Scott could almost paint the smirk that was on this man's face, he was confident and willing to place a lot into it. "What do you want Peter? Your nephew knows of you, he wishes to talk this out and so do I, only if one thing happens to my mother, be it lightning striking her from the sky or a car accident, disease, even a car running her over, I'm going to blame you. Then I'm going to rip your throat, with my teeth. Do you understand that?" Peter chuckled, finding the young man a delight to watch and listen too. It had certainly been something interesting, watching him play at the new society he found himself in, one of intrigue, lies, betrayals, and bribery. All wrapped into the neat little bow that was murder. "Hale slaughterhouse, don't be late, I'll give you an hour...Derek knows where it is, let's settle this McCall." |

"Yen, you don't have to do this, our fight with Peter started when I was bitten-" Yen scoffed, reaching forward and bringing Scott into another fierce hug that could not hide the pure emotion behind it. They were fearful of going against this man, even if it was under the pretence of peace. They both knew he wanted anything but that and Scott's life after this was not going to be the same. He would probably have to move and find another place to settle, the Malroux family had only given him so long. "We are fighting this man together, he did this to you and he is going to pay, do not try and stop me from delivering what he deserves." Scott never knew what to say and so they moved forward, heading into the slaughterhouse and noticing a few people. They worked the joint with ease, letting them pass without any problems before they came to a backroom. Derek looked around before showing them inside, it was an office. Inside sat Melissa McCall and Peter Hale, the Alpha. "And so the little wolf, my nephew, and a Malroux enter the fold. It's so nice to finally be done after all these months, that we can pick up where we left off with the foolish Argents...but that is for another time, I promised your mother, Scott. Here she is. Only she stays safe here in Beacon Hills, we'll go elsewhere as a Pack." Scott's head shot up, looking at Peter in surprise and anger, as did Derek. They had no clue what was going on but Peter held up his hand, showing them a newspaper from New York, another from Philadelphia, and one more from Chicago...all of it seemed bleak, deaths of an unknown kind, animal attacks they were called...seemingly. "Now I don't know you...this seems like something else, I don't know what's out there but I have a feeling that it's hunting down people like us. The way it's been moving around, I know it's not going to stop, which is why I've made some calls and booked us a private jet to New York." Scott stepped forward, slamming his hand on the table and he didn't see it but Peter smirked at the show of strength. He was earning brownie points with him, showing that he wasn't going to be pushed around but right now wasn't the time for it... "Listen to me, Scott-" "NO! You listen, you bit me, kidnap my mom, terrorize this town for months killing. Then you want me to come on an adventure with you to New York? Leaving behind my mom? You must be crazy, nothing like that is ever going to be happening...right now or ever. I've had enough, let's go.." Peter chuckled, stopping Scott from moving any further. Peter stood from his chair, all of them tensed, preparing for a fight, though he only smirked, knowing just how on edge they were. Their stances were ready for anything and everything, he would have loved that type of talent, especially...hers. "You're not going Scott, I'm saying this now because if you do not go, you will eventually lose control of that gift I gave you. Yes, I can see you gripping ti tight and not letting go. Only, that lasts so long and when the apex hits, you will eventually succumb to the power of what is in your grasp and soon you will be in submission to the beast within you." Peter stepped forward, now looking at the young man before him and he felt the burning heat, looking at the two behind him...he was surprised at this...Scott natrually took the lead, while also giving the lead to others. He switched...almost instinctively... "Let me help you, I chose you for a reason. No one can help you better than your creator, that is for damn sure. You burnt the bridges with the Malroux pack, Derek and Yen won't reign over you like a true warrior, mentor, alpha, does. Let me be that guiding light, all you have to do is come with, join me and I can make you more powerful than you have ever known before." Scott looked at his mother, he looked at Derek and Yen, they were all looking at him for the decision he would be making. He knew this was the right one, something right for him. Ultimately, this was his choice and Peter Hale had been the one to make him this way, the one true person who could gift him something better in this society he was in. One that was involved in crime, hierarchy, intrigue, and murder. "Deciding to do this, is something I am choosing Peter. I'm going to say goodbye to my friends, my girlfriend, and my mom before joining you back here. Then I'll join you, to get this under control. And Peter, just so you know, the Malroux pack wishes to make sure you leave town, consider this extra for keeping Yen safe in the future. I wouldn't want her getting caught in your crosshairs of war." Peter chuckled, he shrugged and knew that he had gotten what he wanted from this deal. Waving his hand, he let McCall go and make his peace with whatever friends he needed too, in the end, he would be coming back to the man who gave him the gift, perfect. |

"So you're leaving Scott? Did you talk to Lydia or Stiles? Just doing this, dropping out of school is a big deal and not one that is made so lightly. You're going to be travelling for a while, not settling down and running into different organizations, getting used to this world, it's not an easy thing to do, Scott. I can see it for you and I've done it with my father, grandfather, and many others...it's a battle that we never win." Yen had come to see him off, he was sitting outside the Beacon Hills Preserve, it had been a long day, all coming into this single moment...where he had made the choice to leave for his mother's safety...friends and making sure that he did not succumb to the beast. He could see that Yen didn't like it, she wanted to fight it but she was not a member of the Hale Pack, not ever and that was something family couldn't do...unless under special circumstances, ones that she had not met or would ever meet according to the rumours that he had heard around the slaughterhouse when speaking with Derek about their plans. She was special, especially to Peter. "I'll win it, then I'll find a way to come back home and see you guys. You know, I would never have expected, beautiful Yen Malroux to be a criminal, a woman of such strength that she would look like a mighty warrior leading a band of warriors. I respect that Yen, you have been here for me and ready to fight for me. I would ask why but I do not wish to cheapen what you have given me, a lifelong ally and friend in this society I find myself in. I'll be sure to call and eat some burgers." She looked down, shaking her head, this is not how things were supposed to end, Scott had so much ahead of him. He had college, he had worked at the vet and here he was, a man being forced to leave his home because of a situation out of his control. It was a tragic story waiting to occur. He didn't want it to come to this, he didn't wish for it to be this way and all of this just because, he made a mistake. He went to the preserve, he wanted to find a dead body...all of this was not fair. "Yeah...you do that Scott, and I'll be sure to keep an eye on your mom, Stiles, Lydia, and our other friends. I wouldn't want you to worry about them, my family will make sure that they are taken care of, properly. Go on...I wouldn't want you to be disobeying your Alpha, now would I?" Shaking his head, Scott turned to walk away and leave behind his home, only he was turned around by Yen gripping his arm, meeting Yen's eyes for a moment before she stepped forward, kissing him softly. She smiled, brushing her hair away from her face. "Goodbye Scott McCall, I hope you do well and visit us soon." |
