"I'm not paying....you are! I paid last week...the meat feast Pizza that I never enjoyed, not even for a second Hek!" Scott rolled his eyes at the newest member of the club that Peter said would grow with time. He enjoyed the male Malroux's company he wasn't like his family and was not arrogant. He was obviously enjoying his time with the pack as well, something that Scott grew into as well when they started settling into Vegas and getting to know the area. Of course, Scott had to enrol in college, knowing that he could not exactly just remain uneducated due to his status. "All I hear is Blah Blah! You just want a Pizza, don't worry Scott, I'll pay this time. Just find us a seat, I'll be there in a moment." While Scott went off to find a booth, it left Hektor to pay for the goodness that Pizza, they really had this too much. Maybe Hektor could spring for some Chinese food when he found the time, it was obviously going to be something for all of them to enjoy. It could have been a nice pack dinner. Hektor remembered though, with his family, they had that all the time, of course, it changed once he left. "Sir, what will you be having?" Hektor smiled, quickly forgetting those memories and ordered their usual. A large meat feast pizza, two Dr Peppers and a single large tub of cookie dough ice cream. Of course, he and Scott were going to share this monster. It was not every day that this happened...OKAY....it was every single moment they were hungry that they came down to Vegas' Luckies and enjoy one of the finer things. It was pretty sweet, it was close to the hotel as well so it wasn't that out of their way. "What took you so long? Did you start daydreaming again?" Hektor flipped off Scott as he sat opposite the young man, they were always like this. They had their moments of fooling around, enjoying the company that the other set. It was not something they saw with their families, anymore. Scott because he needed to learn control and Hektor because he had been pushed out, due to his failures. "I was trying to chat up the cute cashier...of course, he doesn't know that I have him wrapped around my finger yet." Scott chuckled, he did wonder why Hektor had been here. His family had not sent him or his sister would have known about it, no, this was something else that happened way before he became what he was. This was interesting for him, only he needed to make sure that Hektor would be comfortable. He could already that his friend had suffered through so much, he didn't deserve that. |

"Here you are sirs, one meat feast Pizza, two Dr Peppers and a single large tub of cookie dough ice cream. Enjoy." Scott dove into eating the pizza, while Hektor was more controlled, allowing him to take in what he was doing and where he was. He was with a new pack and that was not something that he ever thought would happen. He had travelled all over the world, no one wanted the disowned Malroux and it seemed like his father had passed the word to every pack that would listen to him on the West coast. He was a nobody and that made him an omega. Of course, there was a light at the end of the tunnel, something that reached out for him personally. It came in the form of Peter Hale, that was like fate had personally plucked him out of the batch of wolves that could possibly help his newest alpha. Only Peter didn't seem to care about that, he knew he had his experience and with the occasional time that he caught his eye, Peter knew what he had been through. He respected him enough to not blurt it out to his fellow pack members, he would talk to them when he felt comfortable enough. "Hektor, I don't know much about you. I guess that's because of the fact that you just arrived here, tell me about yourself or just tell me about this new world I am in. I feel like I was thrown into the deep end straight away, I don't know what to do or how to feel. I'm getting used to being in this family-like place with Peter and Derek, they're like my brothers a but...now though, I wonder what else is out there?" Hektor knew that this was more about the world he was in than the fact he wished to know about the world he was in. He respected Scott, he followed orders and made sure that the people around him were safe. He could be a beta but there were times that Hektor saw, Scott rose to the occasion and became an Alpha in his own right, he carried himself with the grace and calm mind of an alpha that had been doing this for a long time. That was something not many betas could ever do, some were immature and others were too serious but there were very few in the middle. Some that stayed in the middle and could control themselves, this was Scott, he reached out to his inner wolf and connected with it. Forming a bond with it, where others wished to have a dominant control, never letting their wolf become equal, Scott held himself different and this is what set him apart from the regular wolf. "Well, right now, you're going to be seeing a lot of different things. People, humans, and others are going to come to Peter. To see what he, as an Alpha of Las Vegas has planned for the city. No one has laid claim to a city in over a few years, it's going to be hectic. Of course, we as Beta's need to be ready to help him...Peter is not going to be able to stand against all of them, should anything break out." Scott nodded, enjoying his pizza as he listened to what Hektor told him and he had to say, it was better than what he had gotten in the past few days which was...nothing. Still, he enjoyed knowing that he would be there to protect Peter against these other creatures who wished to come here and question the claim that Peter placed down. |

The door to the Pizzeria slammed open as a single confident African-American woman stepped through. Looking towards the table that Scott and Hektor sat at, no one tried to stop her, it was almost like they didn't even notice her. She stepped forward, each step echoing throughout the pizzeria before she finally sat down in front of them, eying them like they were treasured prizes. She smiled, leaning forward as she looked at Scott with a gleam in her eyes. She didn't frown, she saw something....he was going to be a great person. She knew that she had gained their attention, moreso Scott's as he narrowed his eyes and Hektor simply ate his pizza calmly. Like he already knew what this was, soon she snapped her fingers and his body sat upright, his eyes boring into hers with an unsettling smirk started on his lips. He knew what she was, of course, he did. His family had worked with her kind for many years, he had to run into a few, already this was proving to be an interesting day. "Scott McCall and Hektor Malroux, I'm here to see the Alpha, Peter Hale. I'm Bonnie, I wish to make myself known to him that he could have an important ally or a possible pack member in the future. If his recent acquisitions are anything to go by, I know that he will be jumping to joy to have me by his side. Only I didn't come here for that only, I came to warn you both. If I am to be apart of this...pack, I need to earn it I am sure." Scott and Hektor didn't say anything, they knew that after this, nothing was going to be happening with ease. They would need to tell Peter straight away, rush to his place if necessary. The look in this woman's eyes, she seemed caring enough and the way her eyes met theirs, she truly wished for their support in joining Peter. Only they would wait to see what she offered to them. "Stratten is coming this way with his family, You know Tiberos and you know what he has done to other packs, Peter needs me on his side. Stratten did not attack Las Vegas in the time he had because while he would have been able to fight and easily dispatch Emmanuel Haven. Phillipe Malroux is another matter entirely, the only person on his level is an Alpha no one has seen in years...and that leaves Phillipe as the most powerful werewolf in the west coast." Hektor knew the name, he looked at Scott who had simply nodded his head. He was going along with anything that the more experienced wolf said, he nodded his head....if what this Bonnie said was true, then they would have a war on their hands and Hektor doubted that it was going to be the same as last time, no, this was different...everyone knew of the Stratten Pack, brutish killers. "You're coming with us to the hotel Listen, we will present you before the Alpha, after that, he decides what to do with you. Let's go." Hektor and Scott stood, their food all forgotten about as Bonnie nodded her head, she was getting what she wanted after all. She knew using this to her advantage would help in the long run after all. This was for the best, it had to be and that is what she said to make sure she could deal with what she needed to do in the future. |

When presented with the woman before him, he looked at Scott and Hektor with a raised brow. He started smirking before he felt that hum from her, he looked over to Derek and then Hektor, those two would have known what she was without needing any extra help. Scott was new, he was excused from that. Peter had yet to teach him but he was already mastering the control, something that not many did within their first two weeks, maybe Scott was a prodigy at this. "The Italians call them Strega. The Yoruba of West Africa calls them Aje, meaning mother. Where my ancestor was from, they called them Häxa. And here, we call them a witch. Over the centuries, werewolves have battled and allied with them. They have been our greatest confidants, lovers, and friends. They have been our sworn enemies, the greatest threat we've faced in some cases, and the reason we are hunted down. In any case, they are to be watched, they are to be feared and they are not to be taken lightly." Bonnie tilted her head, he gave an apt description. Of course, here she was at the mercy of the Alpha, Peter Hale. She was not going to be making any smart comments. She needed to be on A-game, she knew that her kind was not as tolerated by the wolves. Given their history, she had to be sure that she could trust this man, she was going to be offering him a lot. Something that not many other witches would do. Plus, the men were not that bad, her thoughts told her as she looked at McCall who simply had a blank face in response. She was surprised at that, he was not like the stories she had heard about him. He was usually carefree, thought with his heart and had a lot of trust in others. She knew that was wrong, he had not even smiled once. He was changing, maybe that was a good thing for his Alpha but not Scott personally. "You have that right sir but I am here to join your pack, I heard of the Hale's making a return. One of my ancestors, Emily made a deal with a Hale Alpha. If the Hale's were to ever lose their historic power, we would assist, of course, that never happened. I am here because you need my help Peter, a pack is coming after you, once you took over with Vegas, that made it open to the other packs and you knew that. Let me help you, I have information on the people that are coming here after you. I gave it to your betas." Peter searched his Beta's and they both nodded, he smiled slightly, offering her a seat opposite him. He offered her a glass which she didn't take, he shrugged, motioning for Derek to stand behind him. Though Peter had yet to choose a second, he knew that Derek would be the one in terms of the people that would best suit him to counteract him in ways that nobody else wished to do. "Stratten, I know...he's the only one bold enough to make a move, the others are....well they know what happened when they went against Talia. Tiberos is ambitious but he's smart, why would I wish for help from a woman who randomly came to me, even if she was a witch. You have a personal vendetta in this fight, a stake that you cannot let go of." Bonnie smirked, yes she did and she knew he would pick that up. Of course, she was not here to talk about her feelings. She didn't wish for anything right now to go beyond the alliance she would have with the Hale Pack Sitting down, her smirk dropping as she did so. "I'm here to help you, Peter, accept that and maybe we can come to a great solution. I want to help you with your reign and I can do it here," She had avoided answering his question, that was fine if she didn't wish to talk then that was none of his business. He left her alone, knowing that this was a once in a lifetime chance. He would take it, Peter motioned for Derek to follow him...knowing that he had to go take care of some things around the city. |

Now Scott sat in the hotel, he would not lie, he was a bit bored but that is just the way things went sometimes..there was not always going to be action adventures and business with others that needed to get done. This was different, he realized that plainly and he was not going to be sitting around waiting for that to happen, he sped into the kitchen, noticing Hektor and Bonnie. They both talked, though there was no heat, he guessed this was something he just had to get used too for right now. "Look who it is, McCall, what did you come here to do?" Shaking his head, Scott knew that he was still the baby of the pack, something that he had yet to get used too. A lot of these people knew more than he did, he wasn't exactly jealous, he just had a thirst to learn more and maybe that wasn't so bad. Scott knew his limits and while he could have fought like he had experience beyond his years...He knew that he had a lack of skill, something he wished to train for. "Just thinking about the further future and what I can do to help the pack. I don't want to seem like liability and be the one that is left behind, I want to prove myself...you know?" Hektor knew more than Scott could ever begin to think, he understood where he was coming from, unfortunately. Where your family is better than you in every way, you are reminded constantly. He didn't think that Scott was weak, he just needed to train...something that they could help with, He smiled, knowing exactly he could help the young man, maybe it was time to take a trip to the old gym. "How about I train you? You fought well in the spur of the moment, you had your anger and you thought about your moves, I've heard the stories from Derek and Peter. You've always had anger to call upon, you were either provoked or felt betrayed. Now you have to think clearly, without emotion guiding you. If you can do that, then we can do this no problem. Let's go to the gym, Bon, you coming?" She shrugged, she really had nothing better to do, if Scott could get help, her hunch about him would be correct. He was going to be on his way to affecting this world. He was going to be a great fighter, maybe an even greater thinker. She told them to lead the way as she followed them out, maybe she could find a nice little home with these wolves. |

Now Scott and Hektor were dressed in training gear, Scott had opted to go shirtless with shorts and boxing tape, Hektor was similar minus the boxing tape as he watched Scott, he could see the young wolf was a bit worried. He was not going to be using his anger as a means to get in contact with his wolf and now it was time to see just how much control he had. Hektor moved forward, so did Scott and it began as the witch stood off to the side, watching them go...wanting to see the potential that both of them had. Moreso Scott. Scott dashed forward, only to be put on the defensive as Hektor immediately threw rapid-fire punches, they were so fast that Scott barely had time to dodge but the last two had connected, leaving him winded. Hektor kicked Scott down, causing him to roll to the floor, both of them stared at one another, waiting for the other to move, neither did and they knew that they would have to keep going. Scott kicked up, growling to himself as he flashed his eyes, bringing himself to calm down as he dashed forward. Once more, Hektor went for the rapid-fire punches, even faster but Scott was prepared, jumping in the air to deliver a flying claw attack. He could see the look in Hektor's eyes as his eyes flashed. The whites of his eyes had left, leaving him with the true wolf eyes. Scott tilted his head, welcoming the challenge. Hektor brought it, his face healing as he unearthed his own claws and moved swiftly, bringing McCall to the corner and delivering an onslaught of claw attacks. Scott seemed to be losing but he simply reversed positions, growling to himself as he rolled his neck, coming back to rapidly claw at Hektor, knowing that he had the advantage, he went for the end. Only Hektor dodged, and smiled, punching Scott in the gut and soon right across his jaw. Scott tumbled to the ground and he knew that Hektor still had more in the tank. deciding to go for his ace, Scott roared and only Bonnie noticed with shock but soon the whites of Scott's eyes had vanished, leaving only the true wolf eyes....that wasn't supposed to be possible for a wolf who was only just bitten! Only then, Scott moved forward and whites of his eyes had returned, almost like nothing changed. Scott tackled Hektor and brought him down to the ground with his new surge of strength, holding the experienced wolf by the throat as he glared down at him. Hektor struggled, fighting Scott but he was too strong and with that, he noticed how Scott bared his teeth at him and a mighty roar soon followed as his eyes were forced back to the blue ocean that they were normally...Scott had just gotten him to submit. "Well...I have to say...there's something special about you Scott McCall." Hektor whispered towards Scott as they both smirked at one another, helping each other up as they went to go relax now. Knowing now that Scott could indeed call upon his wolf in a moment of clear thought, he was not blinded by anger and that is exactly how it needed to be. |

Scott sat on the apron, he noticed how Bonnie was looking at him, it was not something she had done before but now the look in her eyes. It was a knowing of something, he didn't want to ask her if she wanted to keep it to herself, she could. "Peter will be here soon, apparently he wanted to know how you did against me...and he wants to tell you about the way things work for us. I'm impressed, you took me down and not many people have done that. Even in my family, no one has defeated me and I'm stronger than most." Hektor had finally opened up enough but that wasn't really enough to talk about, he just wished to say the truth of the matter. What happened, how it worked and how it seemed to be in his family. He was the strongest besides from his Grandfather, that man was on another level entirely, of course, he had disappointed him all the same and that was not something anyone did without consequences. "What are you saying? I'm some kind of prodigy? I like a fairytale as much as the next guy but I don't like that kind of thing, it isn't for me and I really do not like it. I'm just a regular person Hektor, accept that and I think we can along great in the future." Shaking his head, McCall didn't even know that he had the package of a leader. He was humble but he didn't shy away from the compliments, he simply wished to be one of them. A regular wolf but what he had done, it was not regular, especially with someone who had two weeks of the power that many would and have killed for. "I'm saying, Scott, you have a lot to work with. I can see that you are going to be a powerful person in the future. I really hope you can do something for everyone. You care, you don't allow to dictate you though. Come on, get in the showers, I ordered a pizza and I don't think you want to stink up the room, eh?" Flipping him off, Scott headed into the showers, not knowing that Bonnie and Hektor would have a conversation about what he had done, what it would mean and what Scott could really be heading towards in his future. |

Bonnie and Hektor stared at one another for a while, this was not the usual thing for them to be doing but Peter would be here soon and Scott was taking his shower. This needed to be discussed, they needed to protect him, especially from himself. If Scott was going to ascend than that would be getting the attention of every wolf in the state, they would crave that power for themselves, it didn't matter who you were...when the ascension of a Beast began...things changed in the food chain. "He's....he can't be...it's only been two weeks, Sebastian Valet...I've known of him, my ancestors knew of him. La Bête du Gévaudan, he ascended within moments of getting his power. His morality shifted, he was a monster and people wanted to join his pack, he was good by himself, he represented everything in his pack. He was the greatest of wolves, he is the werewolf that is known for the brutality of wolves." Bonnie stated and there was a reasonable amount of fear at Scott, the boy was going to be ascending but into what. If he could handle a Malformed Evolved Beta, he could handle most threats coming his way. He just needed to ascend, he needed to grasp at that power and he would be able to become something that only most ambitious people would ever become in their lives. "He's powerful, I saw his stance and I've heard what he has done, Scott is powerful and has a deep connection, along with control over his wolf. That is something that I don't think we will ever see differently from him, he is not going to be turning out like Sebastian Valet...we will be there to protect him, Sebastian is a thing of the past, Scott is the future, we both know that. We have seen what he can do for everyone." Bonnie knows about Scott, she had known what he could do, she had seen it just now. He shifted from Beta, Omega, and Alpha. He had all three, without even knowing it but he had already completed a few steps of becoming one of the greatest wolves to ever live. He was going to be a great person to follow for some wolves, and then an even greater threat to kill for others. "I am not worried for Scott becoming Sebastian Valet. I am worried that people will use that as a means to take his power. Scott became a true beast at that moment, you saw it and so did your wolf. It submitted to the Apex Predator, the alpha of alphas. Nothing is stronger than the Beast and if Scott can harness that power, he will be something that most people dream to be and most alphas dare to have in their packs." Bonnie and Hektor sat there, not knowing what to say to one another now, so they just sat there in silence. They could not really talk about much else, this business was escalating and it was not something that either wished to promote but if it was heading this way...it had to be this way, Scott would make a great beast, they were sure. |

Peter and Derek entered the gym, looking at them, Hektor smelt it on them, anger, fear, and worry. It was potent, he didn't really wish to smell it because it always made him think that something dangerous was coming for them, the look in their eyes was clear that something was coming. He decided to wait for them, knowing that they would announce it, Scott had since stepped out of the shower and was training with a punching bag, knowing that he could never be too easy on himself. "Everyone gathers up here, I've got some news...about a threat that is coming to us, and this time, it's more than just wolves." Peter stood in the middle as Scott stopped training and sat down on the apron to watch Peter, wondering what could be so important that something was coming for them. It was nothing specific but it still had them worried for the future. Something that could be stopped hopefully, before it got to bad for them as a group. "I've just got off the phone with a contact of mine in the New York Police, in the next week, a group will be coming here to monitor me. They are known as the Argent family, they are powerful and they were the reason that most of my family died in the fire. They wished to eliminate the Hale Pack, they did it...only Laura and Derek got out, I found a way out and suffered burns but I healed...you know the story from there." Peter and Derek seemed calm while the rest of them were anything but, this was not meant to head in this direction, this was just...what the fuck? Hunters were something that Scott hadn't run into yet, he guessed he would have the chance, wait, Peter said Argent...his mind flashed back to that girl he met in High school, she moved after the Hale fire...what was her name!? "Allison...." Peter met his beta's eyes and Scott knew his Alpha would hear him but so did everyone else. Peter raised an eyebrow, he looked at Scott and found those innocent puppy eyes that had yet to come to terms with the fact he was a killer. "I've met one of them, she was young...her name was Allison and she left around the time that the fire started. She left, now I know why and she will be coming back. I have an in, they won't know about me peter, I have control and trust me. I will be ready for anything, let me do this when they come to town, I can help us stop it before it truly comes to pass." Peter looked around, everyone was in agreement, Scott had the right of it and he would be the one to lead them against the Argents and their wave once they got here to begin their final assault. To finally take down the Hale Pack, Peter was not going to let that happen, they would die before that happened. |

The Hale pack plus the witch had arrived back to the Hotel Listen and came across their room, completely trashed but what drew their attention was the spiral, closing in and out on itself. Shaking his head, Peter knew what this meant and he turned to look at all his Betas. It didn't mean the Stratten Pack was coming...they were already here. "Peter?" Turning to face the witch, he noticed how Bonnie seemed to be looking elsewhere and that is when it caught their sight. A silver arrowhead, the sign of the Argent family, something that Scott didn't know about but the rest of them did. He shook his head, Peter could not believe the hubris of this Stratten Alpha, only then, someone walked out, it was a woman, flashing her true wolf eyes. She was not alone, being backed up two others, a young woman and man, both with smirks on their faces. "Peter Hale. I'm Melinda Stratten, I believe we have some things to discuss. More importantly, the enemy that will be here soon enough, my Alpha proposes an alliance. One that you would best take up, so sit down and take a seat because this is not ending until we talk." Peter cocked his head to the side, this woman was sure arrogant, the way she held herself. It wasn't with humbleness but brutality, aggression, and a mix of both arrogance and being a snob. She held herself like the Alpha, it was clear that she was, the Alpha Female in this pack but that was it. Peter flashed his red eyes, causing his pack of wolves to do so in response and Bonnie focused her own eyes, drawing out a bit of her power, her eyes turning a pure white in response. If it was too happen, Peter would fight for his pack, they would not be killed today, all Melinda did was chuckle. "Put the eyes away Peter, Haven was a pipsqueak and we would have gladly taken care of him if it wasn't for the Boss of Bosses, the Alpha of Alphas. Phillipe Malroux controls the West Coast and we respect that, only here you are, upsetting the balance, don't think we are shaming you. Oh, we are doing the opposite, I want to praise you." Peter raised his head, wondering where she was going with this as he walked around, sitting down, keeping his gaze focused on her, knowing that this was going to be a long conversation. "You see, you've opened the door. Vegas is a free city for all wolves, and it won't be long before the Stratten Pack grows. You can either align with us and fight the Argents, declaring Tiberos your alpha. Already people are taking to the bite like your newest beta, Scott McCall." |

Tiberos Stratten walked his new mansion, he was an Alpha of Alphas. Of course, he wasn't recognized as being as powerful as Phillipe Malroux, he looked at his newest wolves, Beta's, all of them. His bite did nothing but give them status as simple as that but he knew he had to be ready for this...a fight with the Argents and possibly the Hale pack with a malformed evolved beta, that was not going to be doing them any favours, no, Tiberos was anything but a loser, he would win and he would go on to prove he was better than Phillipe. "Sir, may we go out there and show our might? The Hales have lost their power you said, we could strike now and finally win!" Tiberos looked at Austen, the man was proving to be ambitious, he wished to prove himself that he was better than his fellow betas. Maybe there was something for him to do, something that truly gave him a rush of adrenaline, something would give him that spark. Tiberos nodded, gesturing for Austen to stand and approach him. "You've proven yourself a strong beta, a man who is ready to give his boss anything. Bring me the head of Bonnie Bennet, I will make sure to reward you with a boon. Austen, this is your chance, do not screw it up. Go, I am sure that you will find her somewhere with those pack of fools, I will not have her disrupt me again." Austen nodded, heading off to deal with the traitorous witch not noticing the smirk that now adorned his Alpha's face like he was finally getting rid of a pest, his fellow betas did and they didn't want to warn him. Knowing the punishment if they did so, it was not something they wish to anger their alpha for. Tiberos shook his head, while Austen was a man who had his advantages, he was a cause for lot of stress within the pack. He had his chances and now he would be dead, Bonnie Bennet would come back to them but not through regular means. She owed this pack and she would come back, with whatever Tiberos as the alpha needed to do. |

Peter shifted in his seat, he knew that Tiberos was a man who took his chances but turning people to fight him, that was something he didn't expect. Still, he maintained his smile, he could feel the patience of his pack, it was wearing thin and they needed to be pulled back from the mistake they were going to make. "Tiberos hasn't changed then, I remember when packs from all over the world came to see my sister, she was their Alpha, their Godmother. He had a respect for the rules and I know him. He has it now, Tiberos wouldn't have changed. Something happened, he needs the hales and we don't need him, that much is clear. I am the Alpha of Las Vegas, the mob, the gangsters, the police, they owe me. I have been keeping them safe from the likes of you and your husband." Peter wasn't there, his voice grew deeper and he leaned forward, baring his teeth as he spoke through it all and his eyes grew a dark red. His face shifting as he did so. This was different, he had almost fully shifted into a full wolf head but he stopped at the patrial shift, glaring into Melinda's eyes. "People respect the Hale pack, always have and always will. That hasn't changed, the reason why people flock to us because we have always wished for peace. We are wolves because of birth but we do not have to be monsters, never monsters. That is something I am teaching my pack, AND I will teach your husband, he is not going to be coming on my territory and striking out at me...I am the Alpha and if he wants a war, a battle, he will get it," Peter finally calmed down as Melinda's heart was racing, everyone in the room heard it. Peter Hale had just shown his strength as an Alpha, something, not most alphas had done unless they truly were ready to fight. Peter, the look in his eyes as his shift ended was clear, he was going to be ready for anything that came his way, no matter if it was a rogue alpha or hunters, they would be ready to fight as a pack. "Now..before you open your mouth and cause me further problems, Get the hell out of my territory, I give you to the end of the wee, if the Argents deal with you, so be it. If not, then I will be sure to come to rip your throat out with my teeth," Melinda smirked, walking out with her fellow betas who followed, a bit nerved at the Alpha who was clearly on par with Tiberos. If not, he was stronger in a different way than scared them all. "Remember Peter Hale, remember we gave you a chance to ally with the true alphas of Las Vegas." With those last words, the Stratten Pack of betas walked out, leaving Peter and his wolves plus the witch to wonder what was next for them with a group of powerful wolves in the same city as them. |

Austen had sniffed out the Bennet witch, coming to find her at the Hotel Listen with the Hale pack, he growled, this was his chance to ascend. To rise to the occasion and kill Peter, maybe this is what his alpha wished him to do and soon after taking an elevator up. He found himself in front of the penthouse suite, he didn't waste any time, he roared as he stormed in and found himself face to face with Scott McCall who was too shocked to react before Austen stabbed him in the gut with his claws and threw him into the wall Hektor saw Austen, at that moment, the malformed beta sped forward as claws unearthed from his finger and toenails surprisingly! Only Austen did not allow that to deter, dodging and weaving, knowing how deadly Hektor could be, this was it, the final moment where he could finally become an alpha if he could defeat an evolved beta, an Alpha should be of no consequence. Roaring, Austen, clawed at Hektor's neck, bringing him to choke on his blood before finally throwing into the wall...he was done with this little pipsqueak. Austen continued moving forward before he finally saw the Bennet witch and the Hale beta, Derek. They stood together as she chanted before Austen, rolled his neck and dashed forward, he was ready to show these fools how dangerous he was. He was already a natural athlete and had been gearing up for some underground fighting, he had an advantage and he knew exactly how to use it. "COME ON, You're a Hale, Derek! Show me the strength, where's the power of a Hale wolf!?" Goading Derek proved to be one of the better ideas for Austen, he didn't make short work of him, Derek was more experienced and had a lot of anger as a trigger, Austen was cocky and thought that he could take down a whole pack with a witch, no, he was not going to be defeating Derek with ease. So he got him angry and made sure to keep himself calm, knowing that this was a wolf that had a few years on him. And soon they fought, it was graceful but brutal and soon Derek gained the upper hand, clawing at Austen with ease before headbutting, only for Austen to sidestep a particularly crushing blow that could have killed him. Austen smirked before breaking Derek's arm, headbutting him and finishing him off with a simple claw to the face, throwing him up into the ceiling before focusing on the Bennet witch. The one he was here for... "You, Bonnie, Tiberos wants you dead. You betrayed the pack and now it's time for you to die, any last words?" She didn't say any, defiantly raising her chin, meeting his eyes before turning her head, hearing an audible roar that shook the entire the penthouse. Peter Hale stood there, partially transformed as he took in the sight before him. It was a blitz attack, he took them before they even noticed, he had the time and now Peter knew he had to handle this. Only Austen chuckled before the whites of his eyes turned into the true wolf....he was evolving, he roared back in defiance to Peter and they fought, there were brutal fights like the one he had with Derek and then there was this, a fight for pure and utter power. This was something that only Alphas fought in, Peter could feel what Austen wanted, that wasn't going to happen, he fought like a well-seasoned boxer. Austen knew that he was being outclassed and so he did the one thing he could think, he howled...and it shattered the glass windows of the penthouse. "Time to lose that spar Peter Hale, I'm the Alpha now..." It caused Peter to look at him in shock before he got over it, only to regret that mistake as Austen stabbed him deep in his gut, enough so that Peter lost that alpha spark in his eyes, reverting back to his natural eye colour and only then did Austen nearly go for the killing blow...he was stopped. "You're not becoming an alpha today...not ever." Scott whispered harshly as his hand was in Austen's chest, clutching his heart before pulling it out and watching as the man's body fell to the floor with a thud. Scott looked worse, heart in hand, he let it drop to the floor with a wet plop. Only that was the sound which made it over, Peter looked at Scott for a moment before the beta turned away...walking out... |

Tiberos sat in his longue, enjoying the little things as he listened to some classical music. He heard the door slam open before he was looking into the amber eyes of his wife, though she looked pissed at him and he wondered why for a second, ah, Austen. The idiot, maybe he was finally out of their hair... "You sent Austen to deal with the Hale Pack, husband of mine, that was foolish. They're strong, even stronger than us and even if Austen had that spark when you bit him...I can tell you, he is dead." Tiberos looked back at her, uncaring, something she now realized as well. He didn't really care a member of his pack was sent to die, unless, he meant for that to happen. He finally smiled, knowing that she was catching on and he simply gave her the tiniest of winks. "The boy was a fool, he need not be in my pack. I have bigger objectives and I do not need a simpleton with ambitions that are far above his station. He was going to be a walking nuisance, I dealt with that nuisance, I was not going to be someone who watched him disrespect me and MY pack." The way he said it, she tilted her head, knowing when her husband got like this, ever since Talia Hale died. Wolves had gotten ambitious and some wished to take her position as Godmother, even Phillipe. One of the greatest wolves under Talia Hale had become beholden to ambition, knowing that he was one of the strongest besides her. The rare ability to fully shapeshift in an Alpha wolf, something that so few achieved but Talia did, even with what she endured. What they all endured when they evolved. "Husband, Peter Hale is a malformed evolved Alpha. Hektor Malroux is a malformed evolved beta and Bonnie Bennet is with them, I felt something else as well. Something different, something not felt since the days of Le Bete." Turning his head with outright shock, that was not going to happen. No one had achieved becoming a Beast since Sebastian Valet, many others had tried, and failed. None could reach the fabled beast rank, still, learning of these things was nice for him. Especially knowing that Hale had the Bennet witch, this just made things easier. "You worry too much, we will do with them, they are no threat to us or their little rule over Vegas. We will crush them, now leave me. I have to think about the things regarding my pack and the city, what happens once the Argents arrive and how we deal with them without having the Hales as support for our cause." Melinda scoffed, knowing that he simply wished to be alone, it had been a long day, she was in no mood to argue. She went out to find the betas, knowing that they needed her more than they need their alpha. Even if he promised them that things were going to change, in his eyes, they didn't need too. |

"The Stratten's have just come here in peace, they wouldn't attack. This was a different attack, possibly to get rid of the ambitious fool. Tiberos wouldn't want that in his pack, he's dealt with too many in his lifetime. He probably has another already, something that we need to prepare, get on the horn, I want wolves here and soon. If they wished for a pack, let me know, and I will see if they can join this pack." Hektor nodded at his Alpha, knowing that Peter simply wished for the added protection and for the lone wolves to understand what was happening now. He got on the phone, making sure to shoot some of his betas a small smile, they were here for him. Except one, Scott was on the roof, simply sitting there and gazing out at the city. "You going to talk to him?" Peter looked at Bonnie, he didn't know what to think of her but now that she had saved their saves, chanting to keep them healthy and strong, she was definitely someone he could rely on and maybe join the pack. He sighed, Scott could handle himself but killing twice in the space of two weeks when he had just turned, Peter knew they had to have a talk. "Yes, Scott saved my life and so did you, I bit him out of support I needed. He was a natural athlete and someone that could be just like me in a way, a leader. He handled himself well tonight, even if he was taken off guard. Of course, we will have to move. I'll notify them in the morning, right now, get some rest and get something to eat." Bonnie smiled, liking the fact that he was already warming up to her, though she looked up at the ceiling. She saw the look on Scott's face, he didn't like what he had done and was coming to grips with it but maybe Peter could talk to him, finally see what was up. Peter made his way up with ease, looking at Scott as the sun slowly drifted away, setting in for the night. Scott didn't acknowledge him yet but he knew he was there, so Peter decided to move forward with it. "It doesn't get easier, my sister said that you never forget your first. I thought she was talking about sex, of course, I think she was talking about things in general. So, Scott, I'm going to tell you, that this life doesn't get easier. Soon enough, I'm going to start trusting you with the criminal side of things and then things are going to ramp up. You have to keep moving forward, to have days with your fellow pack members. Where we can all enjoy each other's company and relax, this happens, you need to see the light at the end of the tunnel." Scott laughed and it was so hollow, like it broke something inside of him, only he looked at Peter and still, he could see that innocence. Only fading slightly, like he was finally coming to grips with what he was. "I've not thought about the murders....I've thought about the thrill of the battle and how happy I am that I get another day to keep going, that this day maybe my last. That's it...and I replay it, over and over again, we survived, we won and that's what mattered to me. What does that make me?" Peter smiled before looking at Scott with his glowing red eyes. "It makes you a werewolf, like me." Scott smiled, nodding his head as he looked out at the Vegas skyline, finally enjoying himself, ready for whatever came next. He would face it with his brothers and that is all that mattered. |
