"You've been playing the long game Argent, are you done? My crew can only handle so much sway with the feds, and that kind...those fucks need to leave, we had a deal, otherwise, that daughter of yours. She's going to be heading into some serious trouble, ya got that?"

Christopher Argent was many things right, he was angry and pissed, there was fear in his eyes and he looked at the man who held no fear in his eyes. Like he had done this on a daily basis and it seems like that assumption was right. He could see that this man had no care for human life, even in regards to their problem...though he seemed more focused on what this could get him.

"My father made that deal, a long time ago. Gerard is someone that needs to learn the difference with your kind, I don't like you but those people out there...who are a plague upon the world. I'd rather adjust our little alliance."

The man chuckled, stepping forward as the scent of smoke filled the air, of course, he lit a cigarette. Chris continued to look at the man with nothing but disgust. In any case, he was worse than the things he hunted. At least some of them had a code, these people, these members of the honoured society. They were nothing but cold killers, yet they had connections, ones that he needed.

"The Pavanno family gave you that chance, now we stepped in. Salvatore is out in England, Joseph is dying due to his health, we are the last ones you have to offer anything."

Chris growled though that did nothing to deter the man who was obviously high up in the mob, he looked at Chris with a plain look, making sure that he was getting what he was putting down.

"Understand this Argent, you live, you operate because of me and my family. We have supported you and your crusade, whatever fairytales you chase out there is up to you. Do not forget who pays the feds, who pays your bills and who makes sure that the Hale's never found out that your father gave the order for that fire."

Chris shook his head, even though Kate took the fall, she had remained silent for the family. Enduring god knows what in prison for murdering children, last he had heard, she was still alive and under protection, rather reluctantly and he was sure that it was going to stop once this man made a few calls.

"Mancini, I've played this a long time, we came here to stop a killer...a beast in other words. Would you have me stop or do you want to be free and be able to sleep at night without worrying that one of your men is going to become one of those fairytales?"

Mancini simply shrugged, he could care less, he knew how to handle his people, it was Argent that was struggling in that way. He smirked before turning his head to the other side, continuing to smoke.

"Argent. My men understand the rules, the rest of the world, the honoured society, the others, they can wish to believe it is not true but to be honest, we don't really know what is fact from fiction. I hope you understand what I'm giving you here, two more days, I hope you can finally place the Hale's to bed."

Chris grunted, he knew when he was being given a small victory and chance to make this right. He nodded his head, knowing that if he did not deliver, he'd best be dead or running for his life. Sonny Mancini was not a man he wished to play with, whether he was in a good mood or not.

"Good, we understand one another. Go play hunter to your little big bad fairytale..."

Chris left, leaving Sonny with his men as they watched him leave with a small snarl. They turned back to face one another, they raised their eyebrows before Sonny nodded.

"Make sure we get them before he does, especially Scott McCall, for some reason, Peter wants him safe. God damn those Hales, one time Talia helped with a shipment of cocaine and Stobart Whiskey. Now I owe them something bigger than that, please for love of all that is holy, let the 1930s end and bring out the fucking 40s...I can't deal with these organizations anymore."

"So here we are, what's the difference now? We have everyone off the fucking streets...Peter, we're on lockdown, Chris and his boys are going to be out there."

Peter and the rest of them had sat down, ever since Tiberos had been shot, he had not woken up and while that would have been something to celebrate. They knew the type of man he was, a mere bullet shot wouldn't have stopped him...so what the fuck was this? It was like something was wrong with him, mentally.

"I know, it won't stop...this is how war is Bonnie, we have to be ready to take every precaution and bunkering down in our territory is how we stay safe. Do not worry, I have a few concerned citizens on the outside watching our backs, or more importantly, an investment of theirs."

Bonnie smirked before the phone rang, causing her to scrunch up her eyebrows before she answered. A soft hello escaped her before she gave the phone to Peter...

"I know who it is Bonnie, no need to say it, my old friend.!"

Peter stated as he took the phone, a small grin coming to his lips as he heard the man on the other end of the phone. His grin fell and was replaced with a morose look. His eyes narrowed for a moment before a brief flash passed.

"Good to know you still remember that deal you had with Talia, Sonny, I won't forget this. You have my word, just remember what we agreed and you can go about your business when this is done, got that?"

All Peter heard in response was a grunt and he knew that Sonny understood what was going on, this was bigger than them. It was protecting a great investment in the form of Scott McCall, the boy who entered another world entirely, now he was proving to be something different and maybe that is exactly what they needed right now.

"Call the boys?"

Peter shook his head, he would go out and handle this himself, he just needed to get in contact with a few people. Things would work just fine for them if they happened how he imagined them in his head which he was sure was going to happen swimmingly.

"Stay here Bonnie and be safe, that's all I'm asking for you, alright?"

Bonnie nodded as she watched Peter dawn his leather jacket and walk out with a seemingly pissed off posture. He looked like he was going out there to handle some business, if anything, it was not something good. All she hoped that he was safe and got back here in one piece.

Chris Argent settled down in Las Vegas' local watering hole, though it seemed that his reputation had earned him something of an entirely different rep here. If he had to guess, it was some of those fairytale people coming to work again. He simply ordered a beer and some peanuts, he wasn't going to be here long, though that didn't stop a particular man stepping up beside him and taking a seat, he took a hefty chug of his beer before settling a gaze on Chris.

"You look like you've been through the ringer friend, I'm sure that some drinks can help solve some of that for you."

The man had a heavy southern accent, something that Chris noticed as he gave him a razor-sharp smile. Chris nodded, going along with it and thanking the bartender when he gave him the drink along with peanuts. He did notice that the man had yet to leave, he continued looking around the place before leaning forward, whispering in Chris' ear.

"I'd be careful Argent, some of these people have heard of your sister. You're not exactly welcome in this part of the city. I'm keeping you safe, they won't touch you with me around."

Chris knew that this man had an agenda, the way he spoke, there was a tone that told him there was something more. He drank, knowing that the blow was coming and he didn't really want to stop the man while he was on a roll like this, let him continue and see what he could offer to Chris' problem with Peter Hale and his band of dogs running around the fairytale woods.

"I'd say thank you and pay you for this little protection business but something tells me that you already have something in mind, something that is going to be oh so different for you."

The man chuckled, raising his eyebrows before he simply allowed himself a smirk that seemed to be fitting him more than the friendly smile that he was putting on before.

"I'm Constine Nalmere, I'm here to help you with your little dog problem, maybe we can finally speak about things clearly and in the open Christopher."

Chris looked at him before he saw something, a glint, a reflection but he was sure that Constine had done something. Maybe it was the drink but he trusted his instincts and they were telling him to not trust this man.

"I am fine Constine, as we speak, my men are making sure that Vegas is going to be free of rabid dogs. I don't think that allying with one would be best for my future in the business, so why don't you go on and leave before my employer hears of you?"

Constine laughed, standing from his stool but he knew that he had to warn Argent what he could do. He was a dog without a master, Tiberos had been his calming beast, the man to pull him back from doing anything that could him or them as an organization, a pack, anything and here he was doing it now.

"I'd be careful of who you make enemies of, Argent. I've made plenty of dog catchers regret what they do...especially when I have access to what is dearest to them, you have a good drink, Argent."

Bolting up from his seat, Chris made to swipe for the cocky little shit but he was gone. Leaving Chris to boil as he knew what he was implying. He needed to get to a phone, his daughter was in danger and that was not something he wished to see...if anything happened to her, he would kill them all, regardless of what Sonny wanted, this concerned his family and it was his family above everything else.

"For you to have called me here Peter, I have to say, you've got my attention."

Phillipe Malroux was one of the few people that Peter wished to call but he was here for a reason, plus he was waiting on someone and finally, she arrived along with Sonny Mancini. Everyone was tense, under these conditions, it was to seem like a meeting between multiple organizations and an end to the bloodshed, something that they all wanted so they could finally get back to business.

"You're all here for a reason, the blood in Vegas must stop. I have pulled my men off of the streets. Of course, there is more and I know that you'll have a stake in this. I can assure you, it will be worth all of your times for what I am going to say this is something that I didn't think I would be doing but this comes back to one person, Scott McCall and his potential for leadership in the future."

Melinda, Sonny, and Phillipe all wondered where the 'Leader' was going with this, he seemed to be biding his time, getting his words ready and making sure they understood him here.

"He is not to die for the future, I need him alive to continue his own legacy. I know I am asking you for so little as I have yet to place down my requests. Sonny, you know it already, I want him with you...bodyguard, fucking courier...I don't know, just keep him safe and maybe I can see something picking up for him in the future."

Peter turned, looking at the others, they were wondering why they were here. It was rather obvious why they were here for him at the very least since he knew, they should know that there was only one reason he was willing to call a council with all of them here.

"I want the Marloux Pack to move in and adjust, they should be able to take on the Hale's load from this future business. The Hale's will be moving on, going elsewhere. Install someone you trust Phil, I don't care, as long as you remember who gave you this chance, it wasn't because I recognized you as a powerful leader, because I know you and I know that you are looking forward to proving that this city has a future for it."

Phillipe nodded, he already knew who would do well as his captain over Las Vegas. It would have been a simple and easy transition for all of them. He looked over at Peter as he focused his attention on the Stratten female, she was the only one who seemed to know what he wanted.

"You know what you have to do, there is a reason why you are sitting here and no one else is. I could have picked a number of people to go over to that compound of yours and deal the killing blow but if you want him to go to our god. Let him go, Hircine awaits and that is something I can see truly happening. You have the gift Melinda, use it well and allow yourself to be free from that arrogant man."

Melinda sighed before Sonny looked over at Peter, he was the one protecting the McCall boy, after all, all of this was for him and Peter was talking about abandoning one of his own. Something that he never did on a  regular basis but here he was, something made him do that, something major.

"Why are you so intent on saving the boy who you would say could become a leader? He has not shown anything, heck, you have not even had him do any deals, he has just been there as an enforcer. What can he do?"

Peter smirked, knowing that Sonny would be the one to question his role in all of this business. Given his status as a mob capo of his own crew, he had certain benefits and while Scott McCall ticked many, he was not ready to be placing his bets on the man himself.

"Scott has shown leadership, he has shown skill at being able to infiltrate the enemy, regardless of his former interests and regards to his past. He has sacrificed to save his mother from murderous intentions and has protected his fellow members with a ferocity only seen in enforcers. Scott holds plenty of keys, he is someone that I think you could get a lot of use from, Sonny. I am trusting you because no one would believe that McCall would join the mob, this is that start and if you are to be someone I can trust, I know you will see the potential that he also has."

Peter knew that Scott was infiltrating the enemy because he was with Allison Argent right now, a member of the famous family of dogcatchers. He just hoped the boy would come out unscathed and with something more than a little information.

Scott and Allison walked out of the diner, it was a little hot but Scott had simply opted for a t-shirt and some combat pants along with boots. He seemed to be looking out for Allison, making sure that she was careful, to the outside eye, it would have seemed like the two were on a date but Allison was trusting Scott, he needed to make sure that she would not be a casualty in the war that was ramping up.

"I just trust you Scott and I know you're keeping me safe, better than other people and I wonder if that is something that I should have seen a while ago."

Scott looked at her, knowing what she was talking about and it was a long time but she seemed to want to talk about it. Something that left him a little worried, he knew that he could trust himself around the young woman. She was apart of royalty in a sense of a word, she was something that many other women would aspire to be, beautiful, outgoing, kind, and confident in herself, along with skill.

"Well let us not dwell on the past or it's mistakes that neither of us will wish to revisit. Here we are now Allison, taking on the path, one step by step. And we are going to be having plenty of fun while doing it, come on, I'm sure I can bribe you with some curly fries or perhaps some other goods that will get you all excited!"

Allison giggled, walking beside Scott as they headed to the diner, it was one of those days and then it happened, it wasn't one of those days anymore. She was reminded what this place really held, she was not someone who held the same status as Scott but the man before her, he was looking at her like she was a piece of meat to carve.

"Move McCall, for once, this isn't about you..."

Scott knew this man? What the fuck was going on!? He never looked back at her, he kept his gaze ahead and made sure to stand between her, along with the man that was continuing to look at her over Scott's shoulder.

"Yeah Constine, you always say that but right now we're in public and I'd think you have some sense and leave. I can kick your ass either way."

The way Scott had said that he didn't mean that in a natural manner and that Allison questioning what she knew about her friend. Only she saw the way he was crouching, already in a stance that made him look all the more powerful than he was.

"Heh...you seem so focused on me Scott, you don't know the truth do you? An animal like me never travels alone, you should know that well."

And before he could act, a strangled scream ripped from Allison's throat and all he saw was a knife in her stomach. Her killer staring him with a smirk that made him mad, his eyes nearly changing colour but he realized that he was in public. This wasn't going to do him any good.

And all he soon felt was the same, he had been stabbed and he looked behind him, noticing Constine's smirk as well as the flicker in his eyes. He didn't wish to go about it this way, he was more primal than that and here it was showing as he dug the knife a little deeper, causing Scott to fall to the ground.

"Let them bleed out, that should teach Argent and Hale a lesson...."

Constine and his partner left, leaving Scott to stare at Allison, she looked at him with a shaky smile, finally deciding that she knew now.

"I knew it.....and I'm glad to have met you, Scott McCall, just remember, not all us of hate you or your kind...you're a good man. And I wish you the best"

Allison Argent closed her eyes, leaving Scott McCall to watch her die. He tried crawling over, anything but the pain was too much and he knew then what had happened...he had been stabbed with much more than just a knife...fuck his life.

"Goodbye...Allison Argent."

Scott closed his eyes, not noticing the approaching cars as they stopped and one of them muttered something about Sonny, getting Scott and the girl in the car, knowing that this was going to be speeding up the timeline with Christopher Argent. The man was going to be an angry little shit, time to start his role, he guessed.

Report Post Tip

Sonny Mancini was many things, He was angry which was one of them, Peter Hale had given him a swift mission and that was to protect Scott McCall. He didn't know that entailed being his personal watcher, something that was degrading but he was sure he would see the benefits for the boy in moments to come, Peter had said something was special about him.

"Sir, he's awake now and Chris Argent called, he's going for them now."

And so it began, he wondered if the little hunter could finally put his family business to rest. After all, that is what he sent Chris to do if he could finally do that, then everything would be fine. There were other things in effect, things that didn't take priority right now but Sonny knew that it needed to be worked on first...

"Alright, thank you, Doctor. Be sure to take that nice little envelope on your way out."

The doctor nodded quietly, though he didn't seem to be leaving, he stood there for a moment before Sonny turned to face him. Raising his eyebrows in question, wondering what he could possibly want from him.

"The boy, something has changed about him and I don't know what. I would appreciate it if I could look at him once more."

Sonny sighed, he wondered for a second what that fuck Constine had done, instead, he shrugged. Knowing that having a doctor look at Scott would be one of the best things for him.

"Go ahead, just make sure to inform the boys out there you will be coming back tomorrow. I don't want them shooting you dead in the head Deaton. See you."

Now the Doctor left as Sonny walked to Scott's room, the one that had been personally picked out by his wife. It seemed like he would be introduced to another side of things as well.

"Let's see McCall, I wonder if you have the traits and personality that Peter Hale talked about and bestowed upon you so well. I'll be seeing you in the morning."

He looked down at the sleeping boy, knowing that he would be needing his rest. A lot of shit was going to hit him tomorrow, Sonny knew that the kid was going to be needing a lot of grounding, otherwise, they would all be dead...
