| Two Very Totally Serious and Not Buffoon Mobsters | Started by: Honesty on Apr 14, '20 06:02 |

Honesty walked to Gunny's house at 23:43. The Canadian mobster had another one of his brilliant ideas: steal a maple syrup shipment to follow through the absurdly high demands of the sweet, savoury liquid since he had setup shop in Philadelphia. Through one of his associates, Honesty heard that 100 barrels of maple syrup were being delivered via cargo shipment. Peaking his interest, Honesty told the associate to not tell anybody else and went to Gunny, a made man in the Depravity gang. The two had grown close to each other since reminiscing on preferred soups they had in common. Honesty really liked chicken noodle soup and beef and barley soup. Such a delicacy. Gunny liked them too and also liked the minestrone soup. Their bond had especially grown when Honesty showed to Gunny how much maple syrup you need to add to a soup. Since then, Gunny has become a true devotee to the maple syrup cause, so he was the obvious first choice to bring on this heist. Honesty knocked at Gunny's door. Gunny opened. The two exchanged a limp handshake. Gunny had the taste and furnishings of a 200 year old grandma. Floral patterns draped his chairs, couch, drapes and more. His toilet seat had a sort of fur to keep his butt warm when he woke up for an early morning poop. He had a tea kettle on his stove top, It was ready when Honesty arrived at his house. Honesty went back over the details of the heist: "Ok. There are two objectives from this mission. The first and most important one is to find out where this shipment came from. I should have complete monopoly on the maple industry. Preferably, we do this stealthily, but we can have some casualties. We need to keep it minimal if we have to take people out. 100 barrels will take some time. So if people find out the cargo ship has been hijacked, we won't get much in our haul. Second, we need to have the full haul. I want all of it. Maple syrup is too important to me. Did you get what I asked you to get?" Gunny took a deep breath |

"I got duct tape in case we need to shut someone up. I have also got 300 meters of rope. I managed to find a good and sturdy hand truck to carry the barrels. I've got a ladder so we can climb the boat if we have to. I got us some tranquilizer darts with some dart shooters to knock people out if need be. I have the black bandannas to cover our faces except for our eyes. I have the rest of the materials. I promise you." "Run by me what we have to do just to be sure you remember," Honesty inquired. "We wait for the boat to dock. When it does, the captain and most of its crew members will disembark. They will need to hand in paper work at the office. Once the paperwork has been handled, 4 people will come to unload the cargo. We will need to incapacitate them quietly. We will impersonate them. The captain will stay in the office and sleep for a bit as he will need to commandeer the next ship in 6 hours. After unloading the shipment, we will need to get the captain in his sleep. From, there we will find out where he got the shipment from. We will pay him off to keep quiet and he won't know we stole the barrels as he'll believe the workers got it done. The plan sounds solid. I'll go get the car." Honesty nodded. Gunny headed out and loaded the items in the car. The sound of broken glass alerted Honesty. "GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. STUPID PIECE OF SHIT. WHY DOES MY LIFE SUCK?!?!", screamed Gunny Honesty jolted to the door. He opened it and hurried down the cement stairs. He tripped, fell and scraped his knee, ripping his left pant leg. ""GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. STUPID PIECE OF SHIT. WHY DOES MY LIFE SUCK?!?!", Honesty exclaimed. Alerted, Gunny went back to his front door at the same time Honesty headed towards the car. They both turned the corner and collided with one another and both fell to the ground. "GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. STUPID PIECE OF SHIT. WHY DO OUR LIVES SUCK?!?!", they both exclaimed. Gunny explained that when trying to put the ladder in his car, part of it slid, as it was an extendable ladder, and broke his rear window. "Let's just hurry," Honesty said. |

Both of them were now riding in the car with a strong breeze drafting in as the rear-view window had shattered. Sounds of objects hitting the roof of the car can be heard. It was now 00:30 in the morning. The shipment was due for 1:00 and they were only 20 minutes away. At this time of night, there was practically no traffic and, even better, no cops. That said, the license plate was removed so people on the docks wouldn't report it to the authorities if ever the duo was caught red-handed and had to flee. "All right," Gunny said. "We should be there in about 20 minutes. Once there, I'll park somewhere nearby, but hidden, with the nose of the car pointed towards our exit." "I'll get out just before you park, so I can already make my way to the boat. I'll give you a sign to bring the ladder or not. I'll have the duct tape and 150m of rope and the tranquilizer guns and darts. Make sure you make no noise if we need the ladder. And you better not have it slide again. I'll choke you if it does." Soon after, the two had arrived at their destination. Honesty got out of the car and scurried quietly to the boat, staying away from the light. By the time Honesty arrived, the boat had just parked. The captain walked out of the boat, using the ramp connecting to the dock and went to the office. Just as planned. Honesty waved to Gunny so he can come over. The sign he made indicated that Gunny did not need to bring a ladder. The two were reunited for a brief moment. It was brief because Gunny tripped on the rope and fell in the water in between the dock and the boat. |

Gunny dove head first into the water. As it came as a surprise, his mouth was open. Luckily, no one heard the noise as the crewmen were in the office building and the unloaders hadn't made their way to the cargo ship yet. Gunny started coughing when his head bobbed out of the water. Honesty shushed him and Gunny scream-whispered: "I'm -ahem- coughing here!!! -ahem- How do -ahem- you want me to shut up?!" Honesty replied, "Okay. Just stay there. I'll get on the boat and throw the rope down. I hope you're fit because it's a long climb." Gunny hated being in the water. It reminded him of when his dad threw him into a lake because his family had no access to a bathtub. Leeches would constantly stick to him. Water scared Gunny. Water wasn't a friend of Gunny. Yet, Gunny had to stay in the water because the dock was too high. He had to wait. In the water. Were there leeches? Sharks? Oh, no... Not sharks. "HONESTY. HURRY UP!" He saw Honesty on the boat. He was readying the rope... What's taking him so long? Why is it taking so long? The damn leeches. "HURRY UP!" "Will you shut the fuck up? There are knots in the rope. Stop acting like a man-child." After a few moments, the rope was thrown down and Gunny began his ascent. On the boat, Gunny cleared himself of any algae and took off his shoes to empty the water from them. He put them back on. By now, the unloaders have embarked on the cargo ship. Honesty and Gunny separated. The latter went to the right side of the boat. The Canadian went to the left side. Gunny crouched ever so silently. Or at least he tried. It's hard to walk with sloshy shoes. After 20 seconds of crouching, he heard movement. And talking. One of the unloaders was giving commands to another one...or several. No...definitely several. Gunny heard their footsteps distance themselves. All but one pair of footsteps. Perfect. Gunny reached in his pocket for his tranquilizer gun. Fuck. Honesty forgot to give it to him. What a dipshit. How would Gunny proceed now? The bandanna. He'll use it to strangle the man. He untied the bandanna from his face and held it firmly in his right hand. As the unloader approached Gunny, his heart rate slowed and he readied himself. Soon after, his left hand grabbed the other end of the bandanna and the fabric found it's way around the throat of the man. Gunny bashed his knee against the right thigh of the man, knocking him down to the floor. The man's struggle was futile. Gunny dragged the man towards a nice, dark spot by dragging him by the neck. Soon after, the man stopped struggling. Gunny made his way to fine one of the remaining three. He made his way to the poop deck. No one. He circled around. Two of them were chatting and having a smoke. Gunny saw Honesty at the other end. He waved to Honesty and pointed to the two. They'd take them out together. When Honesty was in position, Gunny counted down from three with his fingers. After three, Gunny jumped on the man closest to him with one hand on his mouth and the other on his back. Honesty leaped, tackled the other unloader and hit him on the back of the head with his tranquilizer gun. Then, Honesty shot both men with the tranquilizer gun, knocking them out instantly. Gunny looked to Honesty: "Ok. What now?" |
