"You owe me $1 now Plague"

Honesty continued to pester PlagueDoc about the dollar. A million dollar donation means nothing, apparently.

The transaction process was a pain in the ass to go through, especially for a measly dollar bill. It was just too hard to place a dollar bill in Honesty's hand; no, it had to be through the bank.

PlagueDoc held firm, however. There would be no way in hell Honesty would ever see his beloved dollar again. The wrinkles would no longer be held by the King of Syrup, rather, the King of Cures.

The bill lay half-folded in PlagueDoc's hand. Washington stared back up at him, the minor smile echoing the "stolen" property that shall never be returned.

The pestering would continue. The effort would be in vain, however.

The one dollar will be going nowhere.

It's not the money.  It's never about the money!  It's about the principle.
