Shrek was walking around his sunny swamps, whistling along with the birds. He was very happy, his onions had started to blossom nicely, he had found an awesome family and he had received a lot of recruitment letters after his letter to the Streets. Still no princess though, but he was sure that was bound to happen sooner or later. He had also been reading the papers lately, trying to get into the life of crime headspace, and a question had popped in his mind. And there was only one way to get an answer, so he grabbed a pen, a piece of paper and immediately got into writing his letter.

Hello everyone, 

Ladies and gentlemen of the American underworld, I come to you with a question I’ve been playing with for quite a while. You probably have noticed the many speeches or letters in the streets talking and criticizing mafiosos active in the streets and I couldn’t help but wonder about street cred. As in Street Credibility. 
 

What makes you credible in the streets, what earns you respect from other mobsters? Is it the amount of appearances you have, how eloquently you express yourself or the way you edit your letters? 
 

And what makes you lose respect and credibility in the eyes of others? Is it arguing in public or picking a subject to reflect on? 

Please enlighten a lost ogre and hopefully this can help the criticized and the criticizing, and anyone for that matter, what they can do to win the some respect in these harsh streets.

He through his letter and smiled, he was satisfied with it. He attached it to his pigeons foot and sent the bird out his window, hoping it would find the streets sooner or later, and that he would receive response letters. 

You ask an interesting question, and my answer will cover a few areas.

Fearlessness is one - I am scared of no man (woman or Teq) on these Streets.  A consistent, branded message (in my case dedication to liberating latent homosexual romance and sex), technical skill, eloquence and presence.

Any fucking idiot can just constantly appear talking cackhanded nonsense, but it takes a special skillset to become synonymous with the Strees.

Few have managed it.
