I'm hoping that this discussion doesn't descend into violent anarchy like the last one, but what is the best Oasis song?

I think Whatever, Slide Away, Champagne Supernova, Stop Crying Your Heart Out are all contenders.

I think I'd have to say Wonderwall.

Stop Crying Your Heart Out is my favourite personally. They have so many amazing songs though. 

Worth listening/watching this from Maine Road in 96. Was enjoying it yesterday afternoon. 

I dont know if it's the best... But my favorite is Cast No Shadow

Frankie - I had one of the nights of that gig on VHS.  Tingles.

THIS is much better than the album version.  Liam's voice could be so gentle and optimistic.  

Live Forever is one of my favourites.

I was just a casual fan back in the 90's (yes, I'm old), but Live Forever was probably my favorite.  I saw Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds open up for Smashing Pumpkins last year and they were fucking amazing.  That made me take another look at Oasis' work and now I'm a bigger fan than I ever was in their heyday.

My favourite is Aquiesce

So many amazing songs. Hard to say there's any more iconic than Wonderwall though. 

Personal favourite is Stand by me. Hands down favourite song of all time. 

Unfortunately never managed to see them live.
