Bound For Blood Started by: Chyna on Apr 22, '20 04:18

Chyna sat on a stool in the dark corner. She wasn't sure how it had all come to this. It was supposed to be the easiest job of her life. Get in, stuff the bag full of money and get out. It wasn't that hard really. Obviously it wasn't that easy either. She went over it again in her head as the figure across the room started to move. The deep, guttural moan filled the room. He had received quite the beating when he tried to play the hero. 'What did he care about a few grand,' she thought to herself. It certainly wasn't worth the spot he had put himself in now. She watched from the dark as he struggled against the restraints he would now never be free of.

Earlier

Chyna called out to Ramone to get the car ready. She pulled on her coat and grabbed the bag off the bed. Having planned this job for a few weeks, she left the house feeling confident. She flashed Ramone a smile as she slipped into the passenger seat. Watching the dark streets as Ramone drove, her thoughts drifted. That happened more often than not lately, her focus not as sharp as it used to be. Totally unaware that they had arrived, she jumped as the driver door clicked shut next to her. Opening the passenger door, Chyna stepped out of the car and quickly ducked into the shadowy alleyway. She pulled the lock pick tools from her bag and set to work. A smile crossed her face as the sound of the tumblers echoed softly in the night.

"Stay here, don't make a move unless I give the signal," she whispered to Ramone before slipping inside, the door shutting quietly behind her.

Chyna knew her way around the shop. She had been inside it every week for the last month. And every week it was a new excuse. Business was bad. Hard times had befallen everyone. Orders were down. None of that was her problem. Vito wanted protection and protection wasn't cheap. Making her way slowly through the dark shop, she found the door to Vito's office. Turning the handle, only to find it locked as well. She pulled out her tools once more, popping the lock even quicker than the outside door. Slipping quietly through the door, she walked over to the desk. Opening the top drawer, she smiled at the envelope sitting right there on top. As she began to count the money she heard a creak. Her head shot up just in time to see a bat heading right towards her.

Chyna grabbed the bat with her hand and pulled, yanking the weapon and the man right over the desk. He dropped the bat as he lunged towards her, his hands wrapping tightly around her neck. She swung from below, uppercut that connected perfectly with the bottom of his chin. The sound of teeth crashing against each other echoed throughout the room. His hands dropped from her neck as he swayed, dazed from the hit. Chyna punched him again, then picked him up and slammed him against the desk repeatedly. He struggled, trying to fight back until Chyna threw one last punch, knocking him out cold. Scooping up the envelope and the money that had fallen from it, she stuffed it into the bag. She reached down, scooped up the man and slung him over her shoulder.

Ramone's eyes widened as Chyna exited the shop, not bothering to lock up behind them. He hurried her to the car, opening the trunk. They dumped the man in and took off. Ramone pulled up in front of an abandoned warehouse down by the docks. Chyna lifted the man out of the trunk and carried him inside. She dumped him into a chair as Ramone appeared with the rope.

And now here they were. Chyna stood up, watching as the chair began to slowly swing back and forth. The man really began to struggle when he noticed he was suspended over the water. He tried to holler but the gag stuffed in his mouth made his cries muffled from the rest of the world. Not that anyone would hear him all the way out here anyway. Ramone had done well in finding this building, it was perfect for times like these. Chyna grabbed the chain and pulled, hand over fist, as the chair began to lower into the water. It wasn't supposed to end this way. But then, not many things ended the way they should. She reached down and released the chain from the pulley. The chair dropped into the water with a splash, pulled down by the rock that had been dangling from the bottom. She turned around and walked towards the exit, thinking to herself, 'Success! Dat bum's swimming with da fishes.'
