Casino Mistake Started by: AllanReford on Apr 22, '20 19:35

Allan Redford was a man with an upright look and he spoke his mind. He walked down the street in Chicago on a fine and sunny day. As he was walking he saw an Casino, outside of it were 2 Macho looking Italians. He knew it was his type of place, so tried to walk. Just before he walked in the door he was stopped by one of the guards arms "Weapons please" he said. Allan Complied and handed his gun to the man. The man let Allan go in. As he walked in, he could see card tables, machines with lots of lights, and he could smell smoke and pot. He was greeted by a thug he had seen rob a bank earlier. The thug said in a thick Italian accent "Welcome, follow all the rules and keep your hands off of everyone's molls." Allan nods and the thug puts a cigar in his mouth blowing a large width of smoke into his face. Allan keeps walking on as he passes a roulette table. He walks to a bar and sits down on an empty seat. He urges the barkeep over "Can I get some city juice" he puts a 20 on the counter. The barkeep nods and hands him a cup of water. Allan looks around and sees a man drinking booze next to him "Who did you buy that off of?" he asks. The man looks next to him and say "I didn't buy it, I produced it. I run an operation if you are interested in some." Al looked at him and said "Nah, I can get my own. You know where blackjack is?" The man points to a table and says "Suit yourself, I sell the cheapest in the city." Al walks to the table and sees a dealer and no players. He says to the dealer "Hit me up" and he puts down a case of 300,000. He plays and gets a 7 and a 9. He hits and gets a 5. He was at 21 and the dealer was at 20. The Dealer give him a check of 100,000 and his case back. Then Al plays again and again. He would win some and lose some. In the end he had about 1 million dollars starting with 100,000. Then he decided he would play one more round of 250,000. He lost it so he was going to try to earn it back in "1" more round. He lost another and this continued until he had nothing left. He tried to play again but the dealer said "Sorry, if cant pay then you don't pay." Then Al remembered he had some money saved invested. He took a couple papers out of his pocket. "Here is about 800,000 in investments, these papers give you credit to redeem the money." The dealer looked at them for a sec and finally said "This'll do". Allan played again hoping to make his million back but kept losing, he lost all of his investments. He lost everything he had. Now here he was in a bar with some of the richest most powerful men with nothing to his name. Al knew what he needed to do, he went to the man he talked he had talked to earlier, still siting at the bar. "Hey" Al said. The man looks up "Change your mind?". "Nope, but I need money. I was wondering if you had a job?". "Gambling is a serious thing, I can promise you a job, but you cannot gamble again." Al thinks for a second and says "deal". The man looks at him and says "Meet me at the abandoned alley down the street at midnight, I will tell you my name and about my operation there." Al nods.
