BonJon had been complaining about Fidd's lack of presense around the HQ recently, but right now, it had been all worth it.

Fidd had been in regular meetings trying to get a piece of the pie, getting to that hopeful place that all of us in this thing of ours wanted to get to. A shot at a legitimate business opportunity. Fidd had been speaking with the league owners and had made them an offer they couldn't refuse. Those guys, those business guys, they thought they could outsmart a youngster like Fidd, but he knew a thing or two about a thing or two and left with a contract that meant he was now part-owner of the NHL.

Fidd came bursting through the doors to the HQ and quickly outlined his plan to BonJonBovi about how he could make some decent cheese outta this.

To start with, Fidd would be putting on a tournament, but all he needed now was a list of competitors. In total, he required 10 players to sign up for each team.

"From there, there would be 2 leagues set up with one of three teams and one of four." Fidd explained.

"And then, once they've all played against each other, the two teams from each league progress into the semi-finals and finals"

"That sounds great boss, but I'm not sure people will go for it, what's the carrot to entice them in?" BonJonBovi asked.

Fidd gave a sly wink and tapped his forefinger to his head.

"Each team has a buy in of 2 mil which means the winning side gets $14,000,000."

"So, how do people enter then boss?" BonJon enquired.

"Well it's all quite simple, my very dear BonJon, all people have to do is have a read of this form and input their details on there. Once that's done, they'll be entered on their team's roster." Fidd was clearly excited by all of this. BonJon rolled his eyes, undoubtedly wondering if this was even going to happen.

"That's not even the best of it. Players who score the most, who have the most tackles, who find themselves in the sin bin the most and who win the most fights, they'll all get individual prizes too."

Fidd had recently contacted the City Hall to see if the Mayor was interested in adding funds to the prize pot and if so, it would be announced as soon as Fidd knew more, for now, Fidd stuck up a sign for people to sign up to the tournament with their city.
