There he was, finally making his way back onto the streets he had always attempted to find his place in. Trying nearly everything one could do to gather attention, from telling stories all the way to attacking those who frequent them for free publicity, at one point he even considered stepping out in full costume to garner the stares he so desperately wanted-- well, if he wanted to be noticed there was only one way to get it done in this day and age. It was arguing, it wasn't fighting, it wasn't weaving tales of excitement with those who shared similar interests with him. "Free sex! Free money! Freeeeeeeeeeeeeee credits!" None of this was true of course. His degenerative gambling had caused him to be so poor that the fairer sex wouldn't even get within five feet of him upon smelling the poor that radiated from his very pores, and without generating enough income for prostitutes there was no way he could make good on any of these false promises. So why do it? Why do it, indeed. "Come on and get your free stuff!" Holding a bag filled with nothing more than rocks and other various items he had scrounged from the back alleys and business districts across the towns, Sisyphus' plan was in full swing. But it still wasn't enough, there had to be something else. Rushing to a nearby shop, he bought what could only be described as enough fireworks to run a popular display at a mid-sized carnival. Back outside now, the show was just about to begin. "So this shouldn't be too hard..." and it wasn't. The dazzling fire storm that immediately followed these words was beautiful, and the sounds brought many from out of their homes. They were mostly, if not all, civilians, and not at all the type of person that was meant to come out and notice the bright lights; but beggars couldn't be choosers and a crowd never hurt anyone before. That was until the police were called by many in the community, something that Sisyphus had not accounted for which was odd given his brief foray into the accounting business which could be found in the city of Philadelphia-- go check it out! Yes, this had all been a ploy to discuss his new business. Sisyphinances. A brilliant guerrilla marketing campaign that would surely go viral any second now. Or maybe a person or two would come out into the street themselves to speak with him, he had been lonely lately since his large collapse from relevancy, so either thing would suffice. |

Teach was enjoying his rum on his balcony when suddenly there were explosions down the block from where he was staying. He looked over, and quickly took note that they were simply fireworks. This however, did intrigue him. Teach stepped out onto the streets and made his way towards the sounds of crackling and pops. There were bright colors reflecting off the buildings as he closed the distance onto the source. He spotted a man setting them off and yelling about free things.
Teach soon realized it was all a sham though. Nothing more than a marketing ploy to draw attention towards this man's local accounting business. It seemed to be working for him though, there was a sizable crowd gathering. Who wouldn't though? There were fireworks being let off in the streets, and who doesn't like a free firework show after all? After the show had ended Teach continued back to his loft to continue drinking his rum. This was a nice little reprieve before calling it a night. Perhaps he would pay the accountant a visit sometime soon. |

Mercury was bored. Bored to the point she decided to go where she generally doesn't go. She got her things and headed into the streets. It was quite a walk but it was a nice day. She stopped at a coffee shop and got a cup of coffee to go. The streets were fairly quiet as she continued her journey. A good thirty minutes later she began to hear a man shouting. She had finally arrived at the area of the streets that her friends called "Crazy Town." It was aptly named. The crazy people took to this area and shouted all kinds of things at people walking and sometimes even milling about. As she got closer, she heard a man creating a commotion across the street. "Free sex! Free money! Freeeeeeeeeeeeeee credits!" Mercury smiled. He was quite flamboyant and entertaining however free credits? What are these credits he speaks of? She sipped her coffee and continued to watch this enthusiastic man. "Come on and get your free stuff!" he bellowed holding a tattered bag high into the air. Mercury was thoroughly amused. She laughed. What was in the bag? His dirty laundry? He surely didn't have anything clean. He was wearing dirty, tattered clothes and was in dire need of a bath. Nobody seemed to be taking him up on his "generous" offers. Mercury wouldn't be either. Mercury watched the latest crazy person rush off into a store. Oh well, the shows over she thought to herself as she proceeded up the street. She got about a half block when there was a loud commotion behind her as people started coming into the street. She turned around to see the crazy guy had reappeared and was recklessly lighting fireworks. Lots and lots of fireworks. It was getting out of control. Mercury heard sirens in the distance. Surely they were headed this way. She was not going to be caught among the crowd. Mercury ducked into an alley and disappeared. |

Meliodass hears a man shouting on the streets about free money and credits. Curious, she steps out of the store she was shopping in and finds Sisyphus , a man she recognises from a business she checked out a few days ago. He is holding a bag that looks rather shabby. Mel was taught to work hard for money and to not accept any for free. Having no need or interest in free money, she gets back to shopping. |
