"My friend, let us gather round for a discussion.  I have decided to host an Awards Ceremony - I've consulted the journals of the past, and these things were quite something, for a time.

We need to decide categories, first of all.  This is where YOU come in.  I want YOUR suggestions.

So far, I have split the awards into the following categories:

Crew/Family

Streets

Personal

Each category will have some sub-sections:

Crew/Family

Most effective CL

Most influential city

Streets

Street Orator of the Year

Most creative creative writer

Personal

Most surprising hit

Best bloodline

Does anyone else have any suggestions?  This is just a starter for ten!

To encourage this to get off the ground, I'm happy to put up some money to reward those who are voted as the winners of each of the categories. It'll make a change from using my money to put off hits. 

Once you have established the categories, I will reward each up to say a max of $5,000,000. The best nomination, assuming you are going to invite people to make nominations will also be rewarded. How does that sound?

Can I request an honorable mention category of 'Best Recruiter'?

We were a bit busy having a war, so input is required.

Errrrr 'Greatest Name' obviously. Although I would hate for it to be landslide victory, still nonetheless I should be handsomely rewarded.

I would like to offer up 'Most 4th Place Finishes in Writing Competitions' to this list, for no reason other than to illustrate those who do not win but try their very hardest. For where would we be without those to lose if not to help prop up those that win? and what is a loser but a winner that hasn't tasted the teat of victory yet?

Pretty sure it would be a great addition to any ceremony.

How about one for best speech? There must be some appearances on street corners that have struck people as particularly memorable or eloquent, though I'm not sure what kind of timeframe you would want to put on it. Longest horoscope section of a newspaper category? I believe there are veterans groups that get together to reminisce over the hardships and sacrifices made getting through RichardWad's last tabloid. 

Without a MVBG category I'm not even sure that something like this even gets to be called an Awards Ceremony. I don't think I've ever been to an Awards Ceremony of any sort where it hasn't been a category like this. Most Valuable Bad Guy/Gal surely needs some recognition and I for one would really like to have some kind of category present which I know I'll win.

With that said I wish you luck organizing this and if it, for some reason, don't work out could you please make sure the prize money is wired directly to me at your earliest convenience. Good Luck

Zapata - I think the best speech category itself could be broken down into a few categories; best war speech etc

And as for newspapers - we'd need to delve into history, which I'm willing to do.

I know Chicago is behind the awards, but we'd need other cities too.  Can we rely on them?

Perhaps, DiegoCortez, we should have a biggest asshole award. I wonder who might win that?
