What really catches my attention is that Mafia 1 is a full on remake. Mafia 2 will be a Remaster and Mafia 3 will just have bugs fixed and probably include all the DLC.

This is good news! I played Mafia 1 never played the other parts, but I did see some glimpses of mafia 2 back in the day and was really disappointed about it. So they are actually going to remake Mafia 1 and place in a ska godfather saga lol. I hope they place in economics as well and not just run the story line. |

| I was extremely pumped to see this news. I own the 3rd and played it almost to the end (saw my brother complete it and sorta lost interest in completing it). I think I played Mafia 2 forever ago, but never actually played the first. I’ve always tried to play the major mafia games on console with the Mafia series and The Godfather games. | |

I dont know if I would re-buy them again, considering I have all three, :) Fantastic story lines in each one a especially the second which was my favorite. |

I think the game I never managed to complete because of whatever is Mafia 1 but 2, 3 I managed to get done. I thoroughly enjoyed all the games regardless. |

So the Mafia II remaster has been a bit of a disappointment for a lot of people. It didn't add anything new (It's a remaster so don't expect anything new with remasters) and it also has a lot of bugs. Like a lot of them and they're bad. Apparently Hangar 13 outsourced the remaster to a company that is known for doing terrible jobs. |

I've heard bad things about Mafia 2 and 3 Definitive Edition. A bunch of bugs and graphic issues. They even take away the 4k enhanced from the Mafia 3 version. So I don't think I'll get those. Mafia 1 looks okay though. |

| Played the first 2, never the 3rd. I would certainly dabble into the remaster version of the games. Such fun gamesx but always felt they were missing something. | |
