If a player puts someone on ignore, a toggle switch under options ... chat ... would allow them to block them seeing ingored player's posts in forums. Right now a blocked player can't use the @ feature in forums to gain the blocker's attention. This would allow the user to decide whether they want to see threads and posts. The posts would just show up blank. Threads would show a title only. Has this been suggested before? No Unsure how difficult this would be to implement Pros: This would be a full on ignore which could be controlled by the user. Seeing the title would mean if a blocked user listed a protection order or some other thing of real importance it could be read with an untoggle. Cons: You might miss something important in a thread however the user would be taking that risk and could untoggle at any time. |

Seems fine to me, although you could just not read it when you see the author's name I guess. Also the sender should not receive notification a player has blocked them when they try to send mail to them. |

+1 to this. Certain people try their hardest to get others attention even when they’ve asked them to stop repeatedly. |

I'd give this +2 if I could. I've recently had to block a couple of people. |

Or we can just ignore people without using technical resources. We are also able to teach people to stay in their proper places.
