TheFiend slowly walked onto the streets of Philadelphia looking for his first victim. As he walked around, a man by the name of Vulcan approached him. TheFiend wasn't very interested in talking, so he immediately backed away and tried to walk away, but Vulcan was very persistent.

'You know, you shouldn't approach a man with issues like that. It might get you killed." he said as he laughed like an evil man. "I have major issues and I love pain. I love killing people. I love causing misery in others." he continued.

Vulcan then stepped back and made his recruitment pitch. Vulcan noted that TheFiend was just the kind of guy he was looking for.

"Listen, I do not like working with people. But I understand this world is crazy like me and I may or may not be able to handle things on my own. Therefore, since you are looking for some muscle and a crazy mother fucker, I will work with you on one condition. Do Not Fuck With Me." he said and laughed again.

"Let Me In." Fiend said as he extended his hand to shake Vulcan's hand.

Mercury was walking the streets when she saw a man stalking people in the streets. He appeared to be looking for a target to mug. She kept her eyes on him for quite some time. It didn't appear he was finding a target he likes. He passed  ladies of the night, locals out for a stroll in the moonlight, people frequenting shops and buying very little and other sundry people. Times were tough. Mercury understood that. Maybe he was looking for a prominent man who might have more cash on him.

As she watched, Mercury saw someone she knew approaching the man. It was Vulcan. A Philly Boss. She watched the exchange. Vulcan appeared to be getting a feel for the man. After a few minutes, she saw the man extend his hand to Vulcan. Vulcan shook his hand and they walked down the street. Mercury watched until they were out of site. She wanted to make sure her friend was okay. When all was well, Mercury continued to where she was going.

As TheFiend was making the deal with Vulcan, he noticed a shadowy figure watching them. TheFiend was always aware of all of his surroundings so he kept a close eye on that figure. Once they moved out of the darkness and into the light he noticed that it was Mercury, a Philadelphia Made Man. Not trusting anyone as it is his nature, he just kept a close eye on them as he walked away with Vulcan.

"Does Mercury follow you around all the time Vulcan?" he asked.

In a sense, Mercury has bionic ears. She wondered how someone she didn't know knew her name. She wanted to go up to him and tell him yes, any Philly guy including Vulcan is out in the streets with a stranger I am going to have their back. I will make sure they are okay and will watch until I am comfortable with the situation. Instead of setting this guy straight, Mercury went on her way when Vulcan shook the guys comment off. She had friends to bust out of jail.

TheFiend had a way of finding out who everyone is. It cannot be explained, but he just knew, his sixth sense. As he asked Vulcan about the shadowy figure, he noticed the shadow disappear so he shrugged and turned around to continue walking down the road with his new boss.

"Vulcan, you will not regret your decision in hiring me as part of your family muscle." he said.

TheFiend looked up to the sky and started his signature evil laugh.
