The Heartbreak Club

It's night in the Windy City, the wind cuts as deep as unrequited love.

You enter a nightclub you've never seen before, it is being inaugurated tonight as The Heartbreak Club.

The first thing you notice is the big sign, it says “Welcome to the Heartbreak Club” and below you see a broken heart with a purple crown on top of it. You also notice a smaller sign on the wall that says “No Guns Allowed”.

All the bouncers wear black suits with a purple tissue in their breast pocket, not all of them are muscular, however, you are able to notice that they all carry a concealed pistol on their waist.

When you step inside, you see some people drinking on their tables, some people still being served, others just talking to each other and also some musicians practicing with their instruments on the stage. It seems like there will be a performance tonight.

...

You see a man leave a room that is being guarded by 2 bodyguards, he's wearing a black suit and you notice he wears a silver ring on his right middle finger with a purple stone as he, apparently, wipes his tears with a tissue. He's heading towards the stage.

He gets on the stage, talks to the musicians, approaches the microphone and says with a smile:

"I'm Augusto and I'd like to welcome all of you to The Heartbreak Club."

*Music starts playing*

And then he proceeds to sing:

To my heart, that was so wrong

And as much as I want to

I just can't deal with Jealousy

My entire world just crumbles

Knowing all to well the lingering pain of a broken heart, Billie has a seat at the empty table just left of the stage. A sweet young lady asked what she'd like to drink. "Dirty martini with an extra olive please".  

Billie sat listening to the feelings coming from the words being sung. She closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair and remembered when she was once in undying love......and how she felt when it died.     

the waitress returned with the drink and Billie sipped it as she continued to hang on every word of Augusto's song....
