Al makes his way to the streets. He steps over a sea of dead bodies from the L.A. mob family.

"A pretty brutal and swift removal of the United Nations crew in L.A. overnight. I was convinced there was a strong connection between Don harison and the other leaders. I guess my assumptions were incorrect."

He waits for an announcement which will hopefully explain the bloodshed. However, he is certain one will not be coming.

"I had heard that there was an outbreak of a new form of Cholera in LA, very virulent, very dangerous. The CDC had moved in to try and contain the spread of the infection, but was unable to do so, partially due to Charles_Barkley's damn Basketball championship. People were flying all over the place, passing on the infection... it may have been what caused JesúsChristo to literally shit his insides out the other day... or was that dysentery?  Its hard to tell to be honest. Anyway, there was a presidential order that LA should be quarantined by force with the assistance of the National Guard... and well, you know how those things tend to go. 'But I need to see my Aunt in Memphis, this is a free country, you can't shit on my Constitutional rights to go see my Aunt.' ...Pew Pew Pew. So yeah, the Government killed them all for potentially spreading Cholera everywhere and not caring for their fellow man. It would be so much easier if people just realised that when you spread shit everywhere... cos you have cholera... or you protect people and allow them to spread their filthy germs, then you are probably going to get Quarantined. Anyway, its been nice speaking, but the sun is shining and its a beautiful day, and I am late for my Tea in Murakami's Noodle bar, so stay safe, and remember to wash your hands"

Splinter scurries off to drink his tea, rejoicing in the fine weather and clean hands.

Explanations of take downs and war aren't a given. It's not something that you should come to expect. As a lot of the time you might be left disappointed. That's not to say the leaders of this world won't, just that expecting these types of announcements and not getting one can leave you wanting at times. 

Was I involved in that take, you bet your arse I was. Do I know why, no i i dont. Am I too bothered, well.no, no I'm not. I don't feel like I should need to know. My leader expects me at a certain place and a certain time and do so without hesitation. 

If you get an explanation then great, but is it a necessity, well no it's not. That's the simple answer I'm afriad. Such is life. We come and we go.

So let me get this correct. You want people to come out here, in the public eye.  Just a few streets away from the local police station and explain why they have just murdered 10 people?  Doesn't really make good business sense, if you ask me. 

Public explanations or lack of, do not define every crew leader, all they do is create a good talking point. They always draw a good crowd. I'll give you that. 

Like I say, the leaders might come out and give an explanation. But your assessment of it being something that MUST be done is incorrect and will in turn, give you a narrow minded view. 

Ohh and look, as if by magic, you have your explanations.

"Next thing we know, my Wise Guys will be expecting a reasoning as to why I haven't promoted them yet. Nobody should ever expect an explanation from the mob, that's not how things work. If you desire that kind of intelligence so much, you better go out and earn it. The mob is not run on freebies, it runs on hard work. You can get your gossip on takedowns in any one of the numerous tabloids that come and go around here but if you want to obtain reliable intelligence, you better start working for it.

Even when explanations are given, people only seek to use it to mount a big debate for a decision that's already been made and acted upon. The people who are really interested in the reason behind a takedown or a war don't look for it in the streets, they go and earn it by communicating and networking - a little effort goes a long way. The people waiting for handouts in the streets are looking for a debate, not an explanation."

Mercury watched as a man came out curious as to what happened during the L.A. Take Down yesterday. He seemed none too pleased. Mercury understood this all too well. Her relatives had come to the streets extremely angry as well. After hearing Grin-07 speak on this on another street corner she had a better understanding of what happened. SHe spoke to the lad.

This was a fairly clean take down. Yes, there were unwanted casualties howver that is difficult to avoid. May all of the fallen Rest in Peace.

I know I'm talking to a dead person here, but I'm pretty sure your son is hanging around somewhere, Malcolm's kin; whoever you may be. 

I'm going to go out on a limb and say your crude comment was a little bit premature. I can see why you will have taken your own life now. Makes sense.
