"First of all, my thanks to @Latom, @Luckies, @Nipper, @Augusto, @IgnorePlease, @TapsMan, @Gestra, @LonelyWolf, @Epiphany, @Sisyphus, @Zapata, @Master_Splinter, @Charles_Barkley, @Rick_Dalton and @NoamChomsky And the sadly deceased DiegoCortez, Cable, Dom, Meliodass *PRIZES!* Best Poem goes to @Zapata - an excellent poem, and the type of quality one can expect from this man. Always entertaining, and with an excellent way with words. *Good Poem award* goes @Master_Splinter - this is a case study in why we should sometimes separate the art from the artist. Whilst the poet in question might very well be an irritant and a pedant, he's a poetic one, and his win was well deserved. *OK Poem award* goes to @Nipper. I read it, and I thought "OK" - he tried hard, he's sort of consistent, and with the right encouragement and nurturing, which I'm content to provide, @Nipper could carve himself out a little spot in the creative writing community. *Bad Poem award* goes to Dom. What a tragic piece of shit this was. Fucking awful. I'm going to say no more about this talentless cunt. The standard was pretty good, but a particular shout-out to Charles_Barkley, Gestra and Rick_Dalton, who were just pipped to the post in terms of awards. And @Augusto would have won something, but he's in my crew and I need to keep things fair. Prizes will be sent out in due course. And stay tuned for the next contest! Poet laureate of the seven cities! Another distinction to add to my many titles. Thank you for a fine competition, Kirsty, and for the healthy cash prize my accountant received this morning. I hope I will be as successful at your next one. |

I was hoping for so much more, I'm not going to lie.
However, I guess a shout out will have to suffice for now. Well hosted Kirsty, the event was well received and attended it seemed. Maybe people will start to love you? |

LonelyWolf congrats all the alive winners and also löaughs over that fact a dead one gets appointed winner and also many bad words over a dead one, dont thnk thats so nice to do when a man is dead, hope better clearing comes out nect time this happenes.
He is really glad over that so many still likes to compete in writings in here and hope it will continues. |
