Another business deal was completed. Nipsey signed the contracts and received permits to expand his operations into the inner city of Waterfront. There were many more business opportunities and potential rackets that were available and it was time to capitalize. 

Nipsey picked up the phone and called his right hand man, DaBaby. "Hey brother, I need to talk to you, it's urgent!" As he hung up, Nipsey cracked a smile, knowing DaBaby would be flustered thinking that there was an actual emergency.

Right on cue, DaBaby rushed into the office with a worried look on his face, "What's going on boss? Everything good?"

Nipsey laughed as he finished pouring some drinks and asked DaBaby to sit down. "Yep, everything is good man. I just had to mess with you. But we do need to talk."

After taking a quick sip of his whiskey, Nipsey began explaining his plans to DaBaby.

"As you know, our HQ is starting to fill up. I was able to procure some permits that allow us to expand our operations into Waterfront's inner city. There are all sorts of businesses like bars, clubs, restaurants, and shops that we can use for both legit operations as well as our 'extravagant' ventures. But I'm busy handling the docks and ports, so I think this will be a good opportunity for you to set up your own crew as an extension of The Marathon. What you think?"

There was a brief silence as the men downed the rest of their drinks. DaBaby was excited and agreed to set up operations in the inner city of Waterfront. Nipsey handed him the keys to an executive building that would be perfect for DaBaby's HQ. The two poured another drink and smoked a celebratory cigar as they discussed more business.

DaBaby stood at awe of the building, as he had been waiting for this moment for quite some time. He turns to a man he considered one of his best friends and his boss.

"Waterfront is finally ours brother, thank you for such a great opportunity. You know this means a lot to me. Just know I wont let you down."

Cracking a smile he looks at Nipsey

"Fuck these cigars, I got something better in my pocket that we can celebrate with like old times."

Opening the doors to the HQ, he was surprised by the company of his old family in celebration of his new set up. Nipsey and DaBaby greeted everyone with a cheers.

"To Waterfront and the great city of Seattle!"

Everyone cheers and claps, as they proceeded to DaBaby's new office to conduct the next business adventure.  

When Rain arrived at the new Billion Dollar Baby Enterprises headquarters, she was told that  DaBaby was conducting some business with Nipsey that they would be out shortly to join the celebration.

 The champagne fountain was flowing,   there was a huge table full with trays of assorted hot Hors d'oeuvres and a long make shift bar.  Everyone was having a good time.

Rain made her way over to the bar, she knew that Dababy had her favorite drink stashed away.  With all the different whiskey, bourbons and Cognac displayed she saw the jugs of moonshine and asked the bartender to pour her a drink. Stretch and Mr-Big were standing at the bar and she chatted with them for a few minute while she sipped on her drink.

Rain turned around to everyone clapping as DaBaby and Nipsey arrived in the room.   What a great celebration it turn out to be for someone so deserving.

Rain fidgeted in her purse for the gift that Pierre one of her finest jewelry makers had designed for him.

It was a Diamond Gold Rolex Watch with a Full Diamond Roman Dial and Jubilee Band.   Like a similar one he made for a customer he added small cuts of Green Tourmaline stones.

As he had explained to Rain before, Green Tourmaline is the #1 power stone for men. It helps men tap into their inner strength, confidence, will and brings out the best in men.

When the crowd around DaBaby finally thinned out a little, Rain approached him.  She grabbed two glasses by the champagne fountain and filled them with champagne, then handed DaBaby one.

Congratulations DaBaby  on setting up your own organization . It is well deserved and couldn’t have happened to a better man. Enjoy this day with new thoughts, strength and possibilities.

Rain opened her purse and handed the gift to DaBaby.

Devante walked in with a smile he saw his boss DaBaby toasting away the night.  It was his big day he worked hard and it paid off.  He looked at Rain and Nipsey and raised his glass to them.  He walked up to his boss and gave him a hug and a fat envelope.    

You have arrived man and its a great day to party.  The world is yours so enjoy boss enjoy!

Devante knew that with Nipsey and DaBaby in Seattle the city would prosper and the family would be in good hands.  He was happy for Nipsey and even happier for his new boss.  He looked over at Rain who was now Nipsey's right hand so gave her another nod.  He walked over to the bar and ordered a brandy.   

Tommy had never met DaBaby and although he knew how important this business deal was, he was still a new face trying to figure out this new life. He was a little nervous walking in alone to such an extravagant event, but he tried hard not to let it show. He knew he still had a long way to go to prove his worth and was eager to do so. 

As Tommy walked in he immediately recognized Rain and his Boss, Nipsey, speaking to a man that had to be DaBaby as evidenced by the Diamond Gold Rolex Watch he wore on his wrist. As he approached he caught another man approaching the trio out of the corner of his eye and now knew for sure the man had to be DaBaby when he threw his arms around him to congratulate him.

Tommy took a deep breath and as he approached nodded and smiled at Rain and his Boss and humbly said "Good evening Boss, hello Rain." He extended his hand to the man he had decided was DaBaby and introduced himself, "Hello Sir, I'm Tommy Hawk, new member of The Marathon. I've heard many great things about you and am honored to get the chance to meet you." He handed him an expensive bottle of Scotch and said, "I know it isn't much but I just wanted to stop in and congratulate you." He then turned and with a smile extended his hand to the other gentlemen and again introduced himself.

Faith  sat and penned short note to attach to the small package. 

Congratulations. Don't eat these all at once. No, seriously don't eat them all  at once, if you do you may sleep for days.

Faith  attached the  note to the small box. Content with  the packages wrapping she went to the party. She wasn't going to attend, social gatherings were not her favorite past time.  She approached the building and spoke briefly with the  sharp dressed male at the door.  He looked as if he was one of the  bouncers from the local hashish club she attended on occasion.

He nodded and took the package from her giving his word he would make sure DaBaby would receive the package.  She thanked the guard at the door and handed him a couple bills for his time.  Faith  had a business appointment she had to attend , in this world money was a commodity everyone was after.
