It often goes unsaid that the mere peasants of the world rarely get a say in how things operate, however I thought maybe it could be time to change that with an open and honest conversation with those of you who aren't sitting here in a lovely golden throne, built on top of the remains of your enemies.

Often, each group of leaders will come up with their own ideas and ways to run things, we've seen things such as;

Godfather Councils - where a group of leaders come together for the purpose of ensuring there is peace. 

An entire group runs the nation - Where one group holds the power and they will control each of the cities.

The Pillars - A group where green didn't get invited to but FitzChivalry did, which was basically a group of influencial people who came up with ways to support the nation. It wasn't an alliance but a group of people with mutual respect, kind of lol, who made decisions they felt was best for the cities. These people were considered Pillars of the Community.

Segregation - Cities act on their own, with their own leaders.

Anyway, usually it is done without listening to those of you on the bottom, the shit shovellers, the Joe Nobodies. Maybe it's time we change that?

I mean I can't promise I will implement anything you say but I will make sure that I hear out anything people come up with, or at least pretend to, very well.

A few things I have heard bandied around lately is bringing back the vouching system, as well as making Made Man an elite rank that gives people a real sense of reward.

So, step forward my pretties, tell me what you'd like to see put in place. Thy King is all ears.

I want you to make an underground revolution system that keeps the Joe Somebodies on their toes. I want mass panic, riots on the streets and general fuck tardery. Unite together Poets, artists, gunmen, farmers, teachers and people from all walks of life to make it their life's mission to create a disturbance.

Either that or I'll settle for an ice-lolly.  

Well, they certainly can't accuse King Fidd of not trying to reach out to the masses. 

Personally, I always liked the Godfather Council (or Godfather Chairman Council as it would be known these days)

I think each city needs one spearhead feeding into the melting pot and disseminating information back to his/her city. Too many cooks in the kitchen and all that.

Trouble is these days, the population numbers and available districts will dilute this out somewhat. I have read logs from my forefathers of simpler times, one city, one godfather, one city head. However, we are where we are.

What I will say is that being inducted into the inner circle of a family seems to hold a hell of a lot more weight these days. From my point of view is a good thing. This, coupled with free movement of mafioso between families, are all encouraging signs and a reminder that things maybe aren't all that bad around here.

I'm still learning the way of life just like forefathers did when they arrived to these shores. I agree with Mr.Dalton on "Too many cooks in the kitchen." This tends to cause more issues just need to have the lead chef go in and do a quick debrief then converse with his inner circles to avoid the utter cluster fuck that tends to happen. This is assuming if I'm understanding Mr.Dalton on his statement.

Now, the rank of made is always a hot topic for folks. I do recall reading from my ancestors journal of time where you had to have members of this inner circle of elite members vouch for the new up-comer in the family. I'm still found of this system just simply due to the fact it made people think about this member had any other intentions because vouching for them also meant they are risking their lives as well if he slipped up. We have obviously over came those times but my forefather were highly fond of the system. I still feel that rank is given out quickly to those due to they throw cash, unlimited amount of resources, bring up there past ancestors etc. That's awesome that they have strong linage but that was them and you aren't them. You shouldn't ride the coat tails of your ancestors to make yourself known to your boss that you are worthy of this. I need to stop before I start rambling on more about this subject.

Things I would personally like to see change? I wish for people stop being so sensitive to words. A few days ago I over heard I lad whining in the middle of street over about Grin-08 being disrespectful. Grow some thicker skin,rank up and doing something about it. I know you can't the sensitivity level of individuals King Fidd would be interesting if you could.

I'd like to see regular crew-leader sit-downs.  All CLs required to be present, and all get to have a say on the mattes of the day.

They should happen once or twice a week.

I agree with the aspect of too many cooks but I think the notion of getting twenty four cooks ((or even the cook’s deputy) all in the same place at the same time twice a week is somewhat idealistic.  I’m not saying that it’s not an admirable notion just not totally workable given how spread out they could all be.

Maybe it’s the jetlag of my most recent flight making me a grumpy naysayer but I think you might manage it once but once someone misses one it becomes too easy to miss another.  It might be taken as a sign they’re not invested when it simply doesn’t suit them to be available at that particular moment.

Obviously, since it is now King Fidd, does a king trumps everyone else?  So it is an opportunity to just be self-proclaimed lord of all you survey and have The Word According To Fidd as the one law. 

I would certainly say that as King of the North (Side), Fidd would certainly trump any one in or around the Northern Chicago area.

Apart from maybe BonJonBovi.

Although I've never met or spoken to him, Bane as well. 

Throw in anyone else in there with a half decent haircut greater than that absolute travesty of a mop on Fidd's head too.

Other than those, yes. Fidd would trump all.
