My apologies to the (literal) Planet Earth:

You put us here and in return, we have never put you first and for that I am sorry.

You give us life and in return, we give you Poison and for that I am sorry.

You give us diversity and in return, we give you Racism and for that I am sorry.

You give us deliverance and in return, we give you Ignorance and for that I am sorry.

You give us vast amounts of wealth in many forms and in return, we give you Greed and for that I am sorry.

You give us the energy to run our technologies and in return, we put holes in your protective layer and for that I am sorry.

You have given us absolutely everything that means anything and in return, we have given you nothing and for that I am sorry.

We do not deserve you Planet Earth and in return, I will give you Me one day soon and for that I am not sorry.

Without an overhaul, our species cannot continue to thrive inhabiting You for much longer; an overhaul to a degree that we are wholly incapable of contemplating implementing or completing it. The trajectory that we are on will only culminate in one of two ways - of which both bode well for You. As an unwilling intruder upon You, I cannot hope enough for the outcome to result in Us coinciding - entirely - in every aspect. "Us" meaning humankind in relation to You, as well as "Us" in relation to the rest of Us.

Unfortunately the likelihood of this scenario is quite minimal, as there are too many ubiquitous systemic conundrums to overcome. We have failed you for too long and in too many aspects. Critically widespread levels of incompetence and a universal unwillingness to cohesively work toward feasible and sustainable solutions to all of Our problems have led us to where we currently are as a Whole and for that I am sorry.

The variances in Our ideologies/definitions/perceptions and realities in this life as it pertains to; the integrity/definition of our morals, our psychological and physiological differences, our economic gaps, our theoretical propositions/advances, our lacking of acceptance towards all genders/sexual orientations/genealogies - as well our mismanagement/abuse of natural resources - are too overwhelming for most people to begin comprehending on any level and for that I am sorry.

These variances are met with an amalgamation of; disengagement, detachment, ignorance, misinformation campaigns, hatred, stubbornness and greed which has blinded Us to the completely cosmic crushing course that we find ourselves on and for that I am sorry.
