Yea there was two deaths, unfortunately this now seems to be accepted as the norm every year. Too many horses cramped together trying to jump fences that are too high. Receipe for disaster if you ask me.

Yeah, they think the excuse that the horses entered are put through various strict tests to ensure they are at their peak and can handle it is good enough to merit its continuation....

Though, can't say I mind too much, I watch it every year and bet on it every year, so clearly it doesn't bother me enough.
