Tristan's bar Started by: Tristan on Jul 12, '20 02:07

"Damn. You're saying we missed our chance?? We could chase after them. I mean, not only did they blow up your car, but they scarred you pretty good."

Cassi grinned into her drink as she took a long pull from it.

"Speaking of good... This minty drink is delicious."

She took another drink, looking over at Cepheus. He was such a delight to hang out with. She didn't even mind his outrageous stories. They amused and entertained her. Setting her glass down, she looked over at him.

"I suppose we should drop it and enjoy the evening... But you just say the word and I'll drop those bastards. Pew pew!"

After a third drink there was a bit of a twinge in the back of his mind to come clean on the whole thing... or maybe that was just the start of a headache? Nothing that a fourth glass wouldn't fix. Looking over towards Cassi and then the barkeep he placed two fingers up in the air to signal that he wanted two more and then began to speak again.

"Exactly! People don't just enjoy evenings anymore these days, that's why... oohhh the drinks are here."

Taking it in his hands he slowly guzzled the entire thing as if it were nothing and then placed a hand onto the counter to collect himself for a moment from all of the things he was now thinking at once.

"A fifth glass, good sir."

Cassi busted out laughing as Cepheus ordered another round. She was just now working on her third. There was no way she could catch up with him now. She brought the glass to her lips and took a nice big gulp.

"That is so tasty. Have you ever had this before? My goodness, you can put them away. Are you nervous?"

She took another drink as she watched him steady himself on the bar. She set her glass down and smiled.

"It's probably a good thing your car got blown up. I don't think you should drive anywhere tonight."

Five, six, seven, eight. You couldn't really keep count after the first few to be fair, not that he would even want to as that was a daunting task in itself. Cassi seemed to be enjoying herself enough though and that must have been a good sign... or a bad one and he was being laughed at, but really at this point there wasn't no care in the world for him.

"What do you mean? My car is right... there."

Trying his hardest to point in the direction of his vehicle he quickly realized his mistake and placed both hands around his mouth as if to attempt taking back what was just said. Telling on yourself was never a good look, but again he couldn't muster any sort of worry about anything right now and was completely at peace with it all.

"Oopsie.", was the only thing he could say about the situation.

Cassi laughed delightedly as Cepheus finally outed his own story. She took another drink, still smiling. After Cepheus finished his whatever number drink he was on, Cassi nudged him, slipping some money from her purse onto the bar towards the bartender.

"Why don't we get out of here and get some food in you? Maybe a nice greasy burger. How does that sound?"

Report Post Tip

There wasn't a lot of time left in the day and he wondered about if any burger places would even be open right now, but the question was still an interesting one and while the thought of ordering another drink was an enticing one it was also very dangerous given how he was wearing his brand new white shirt that would be rendered useless if re-colored by puke.

"What kinda burger we talking?"

There was a slight drop in his voice when attempting to speak normally while drunk which was clearly evident now. There was once again an urge to order when the bartender walked past them, but it was quickly fought from his mind when he realized that Cassi had already walked away from him.

Getting up he followed her and decided that maybe leaving was the best idea unless he was alright with another dangerous night.

Tristan was happy to see Cepheus back with a friend.  He gave the bartended a signal not to charge them and the bartender gave a nob.  Trista went back to talking with the old men as they talked about how things used to be back in the day.

Dominic took a look at the establishment and walked in. "Straight to the point," he said to himself about the rules.

He decided to take a booth near the wall so he could see everyone. He order a whiskey for 50 cents and took a look around, trying to spot Tristan.

Overdrive walks into Tristan's bar somewhat drunk already, he stumbles and makes his way over to the bar before taking a seat. He looks at the bartender.

"A bottle of red wine please sir."

He places some money up on the bar and chuckles.

"I think that should be enough."

Tristan walked in he was late his meeting with Benny Diamond he ensure that benny understood that the answer was the answer.  Tristan was heated and wanted to relax in his own joint.   When he walked in he saw Overdrive at the bar he looked like he had a great night.  Then he spotted Dominic-Lagana.  Tristan walked over to his new friend and asked him how was he doing.    Tristan sat at the table and called over for a bottle of Scotch.  Tristan men sat at the two tables next to them.

Dominic was taken aback by the generosity Tristan showed him. It was a very good bottle and he didn't hesitate to take three finger's worth it. He raised a glass to Tristan and said salut, even turning to Tristan's men to show them a little love. Both took sips and started catching up. They talked about the weather, baseball, everything. It was good to catch up. Dominic went on about how he doesn't come to Detroit often so he was glad to find one of his establishments.

"No need to get into specifics," Dominic started. "How has business been since the change over to the meat we've been supplying? From what I've gathered there aren't any complaints. Just want to make sure you're doing well since customer satisfaction is my all-time priority."

Dom lit a smoke, offered Tristan one, and sat back to enjoy his drink.

A.H walked in and took a seat at a table that was free.  He sat with James and Thomas as they talked about how the city has changed and they didnt know was it for the better or not.  A.H looked at them both and asked how can you say anything if your not an active part in it.  What you see may not be.  If you are one that is ground engaged then you would be equipt to debate the pro's and con's.  They looked at him as they always did and told him to talk less and smile more as he told them that has never been him.

It was a quiet night after a big war in the Chicago city. Sal felt sorry for those who falled down. He didnt knew any of those folks but it was still sad to see. He entered the Tristans bar and took a seat. What a fine spot he thought to himself. He walked to the counter and ordered himself a whiskey. Pulled out a pack of fine cigarettes and lighted one up. It was quiet and beautiful night downtown Detroit. He talked with some ladies and felt some good time with them. When he finally finished his drinks, he actually got lucky and invited a pretty young woman from the bar to his place. Sal ordered a taxi and they drove there. They had few more drinks and then ended up in bed. He liked how the evening ended up.

vGoddess has decreased her alcohol intake after her health started deteriorating. She even avoided drinking for three weeks now.
But on her way to her apartment, she noticed a bar that was owned by her old friend before he passed away.

She didn't remember visiting the bar while he was still alive but now seeing it reminded her of Tristan.

Venus entered and took a seat and asked for a whiskey. She looked around and sighed seeing the new faces.
"I'm really getting old," she thought.

Tutte were in a very sad mood and couldnt find so much joy anymore so his only thing in life were to drink more good alcohol to make him forget about the harsh life he just now had.

He sat there in Tristan's Bar and drank his third scoych and his thought getting more and more dark each time he sips from the good drink.

After he finished up his third he payed up for them and slowly moves himself again out in the streets.
