Stoney Jr. instructs the cab driver to stop. He hands the driver a few bills, wipes his wet eyes, takes a deep breath, and steps out the cab. Looking around, he thinks he spots the bench his father frequented quite often. There is only one way to know for sure. Stoney Jr, takes a seat. His head was throbbing. His heart was broken. He reaches under the bench and finds a few wads of gum. He slides to the left of the bench and finds an envelope. He presses the envelope against his chest. With clenched teeth, he reaches in his bag for his flask and takes a long swig. He places the flask back in his bag and pulls out the letter he recieved from his father dated July 9th. Recollecting every word of his fathers letter, he felt he had to re-read his fathers near last thoughts before he dove into another letter.

July 9th

Dear Jr.

I hope this letter finds you and the family well. Please give them my love and well wishes. This letter brings some possible grave news. It may very well be my last letter to you. On this date, two events took place. One being odd and judging by my time here, the other not so odd. (By their own omission)

I'll start with what was very odd. Out the blue my boss sent a memo out asking to "give us a clue" and read on requested goals, likes and dislikes. This was cool to pursue. Yet odd at the same time beings only three responded. I felt no need to respond because I don't complain. I was loyal. I was an asset. Not once was I asked to consider more responsibilities. However, had I been asked, I would of respectfully declined. Again, I was not asked nor did the memo ask such. The memo was nothing but a fishing expedition. "give "us" a clue" with "us being the key word. I would of had more respect if I was asked who was my family kin. But the laws of the land prohibit such.

The other not so odd, on this date, in my nearly three months employed is what we call he the circle jerk. In laymans terms this means leaders killed have a special gang called the cool gang that feel compelled to rinse, wash, repeat and be a leader again. I watched this happen. 

If I do not contact you by the thirteenth, I am dead. The circle jerk is in effect. 

Curious steps up with a couple comments

This happened with these same people's kin in that past. There was a mass exodus of people heading back to Italy then and there is a mass exodus occurring now. Who wants to spend their hard earned money to have it lost to this circle jerk? Who wants to spend their time building, being helpful, and being generous to their family and others only to have the relatives of the old circle jerks to take them our for sport? Who wants to be in a family where their leader knows what is going on but doesn't have the balls to do anything about it? Not me. 

We earn the money we spend spend here and for these people to come back around and ruin this thing of ours again is disgraceful.

Curious walks away disgusted by this thing of ours.

When you can't disclaim it, make fun of it. It's what's done around here. Verify by acting like the clowns you are.

Circle Jerk Anton on his 11th day of diarrhea of the mouth will be added to the list of leading again. Say what you want Anton, but you can also tell it to your circle jerk of a thing you got going on. In other words, outside the circle jerk gang does not care nor impressed for one iota second.
