This journal will aim to bring the latest news from the underworld to the Mafia at large, to help readers understand current events, and to document these times for our descendants. The Latest from The Streets

The streets have been quite active this week, with a mobster standing on a soapbox flapping his gums a familiar sight. Several of these speeches and subsequent discussion were started by Chicago mobster Anton, who spoke on a variety of subjects including hate crimes, 5-man operations, and the results that war can produce. 

Speaking of 5-man operations, Chicago head honcho Grin-08 has announced that his 5-man crew offer has been expanded to all cities. That means that any member of a family, with the permission of his respective city leader, can set up a five-man operation in his city. The only requirement is a tribute of $5,000,000 per week.

Operations Briefs

After the war that decimated the Mafia and eliminated its' only Godfather, West of Seattle (RIP), several new operations have set up. However, we first wish to pay our respects to Consigliere Supreme, who was gunned down by a still-unknown assassin in Chicago. 

The Mafia's eldest member, Consigliere Taps-Man, has been given the top seat in Seattle. We wish his new city well!

Caporegime Curtis has been given the bold suit in Pioneer Square, again in Seattle. 

Caporegime Ragnorok was given permission to set up in the Waterfront neighborhood of Seattle. He appears to be disguising his family as a bunch of dock workers. How clever.

Caporegime Hush of Chicago has formed a Secret Society of Super Villains, headquartered in a very un-hideouty building in the southern parts of the Windy City.

Consigliere Stoney of Philly died yesterday morning, followed by associate TommyTerror of the same city just a few hours later. Is there a rogue gunman loose on the City of Brotherly Love? Send up those eyewitness accounts...you could be next!

vGoddess picks up a copy of the new newspaper. She reads and... it ended. 

"Too bad it's short. Seems like nothing too interesting going on these days."

Reads out the Street talk and smiles a bit and is very glad over the authors worlds in this paper, "thanks as always for good reading dude"

I do enjoy a good read, thank you for taking the time to put this together for us.

A concise summary of events, which I would welcome to be a regular feature. Even the old drunks like me can read, digest and evaluate it without wading through a plethora of paragraphs.

Rick slips Douglas a little something for his trouble before heading off to the local drinking establishment.

Pauly_Boy picks up the inaugural edition of “Street Talk”, perusing it as he walks along Flamingo Drive. “A decent read” he says to no one in particular. “More in depth news would be an interesting read” he murmured to himself.
 

On his way to his family's HQ, Tony picks up a copy of the local Newspaper.

"Street talk huh... can't wait to see what these guy's bring to the table in the futrue, specially reading about the next up and coming mobsta's."
