But, my dear friends, it is high time that the Streets were alive with something else.  Something less weighty.  Not so much gravitas.  What I am proposing, my learned friends, is this:

One of you simply nominates someone, and I will write a piece about them.  If I do not know about them, I will find out about them.

I will pay $100k per valid nomination.  I only said $99k earlier, as I was rushed for time and space, and said 99 rather than 100, but it is 100."

So, to recap, simply speak a name here, and as long as it isn't one of the people whose very names make me afraid for my life,  I will send you $100k, and then write a piece about them.  

WHO WILL STEP FORWARD FIRST?

Hell, I'll take a hundred grand. Let's hear about the Mob's oldest member, Taps-Man!

Taps-Man is a veteran of many, many wars, and as far as I know, has performed with valour in each.  A longstanding associate of some big swingers, he is nevertheless his own man.

His postman also receives mail from mine, which makes me feel warmly towards him, and I also believe he's of Scottish descent.  Which is nice.

His suit is rather dodgy though.  Douglas_MacArthur, could you fix him up with one and I'll pay for it?

Ronnie listens to the drunk man spout on about names and stuff on the corner of a bar, his words slurred but Ronnie understood them. He stands straight up and shouts “ PoisonIvy” he shouts “do a piece on her! I hear her ass is huge!”

As I do not know many people I do not consider anyone my enemy. I am pretty easy going and chill.

Rick_Dalton is overly emotional, alcohol dependent and the last of his era, which is a fucking shame.  That man should NEVER forget who he is: Rick Dalton.

Hush watches from the back as he watches Anton dispense his knowledge, new or old, about each nomination. Hush didn't much care to hear about anyone in particular, but he had an odd request either way.

Don Elodin, the greatest raccoon of this, or any generation must be interviewed first. The masses are dying to know how a Raccoon has rose to the top of the mafiaso ranks! You must ask him about his freakishly small hands, and how they allow him to steal from bins at such a rapid pace!

Frederick_Siegel - I'd love to talk about those two, but, despite only having good things to say about them, it's best that I don't.

PureBloodedTexan - SeanCallan had excellent taste in music, and I knew nothing about Stoney, except that he would describe mob-related murders as "hate crimes" which I thought was ridiculous and actually in very poor taste.

I'd like to suggest the name Richard_Kuklinski - I believe that's somebody everyone deserves to know more about!

Well, Bleach, Richard_Kuklinski was prominent about a decade ago.  For a time, he was the last remaining CL in Las Vegas, part of an experiment city.

He was active on the Streets and his son wrote a lot about his father's exploits.  It's safe to say that many, if not most, people who were around at this time did not remember Richard's reign the same way.

The Kuklinski legend was forged in the Las Vegas experiment.  It is for others to discuss the impact, if any, this had on the society that we live in.
