There had been peace and calm now for quite some time. Inter-city relations were strong and as a result business was good. In the city of New York though there was a smell of change in the air.

In the headquarters of The Crazy Train in Brooklyn Don’s Latom and Scousepole we’re planning something. Something big. 

In living memory the six cities had only seen one Godfather, the late Godfather West, who had overseen a period of transition before his untimely death. Now however, the time was ripe for the reigning Don’s across the six cities to seize the role of Godfather and begin a new era in La Cosa Nostra in the new country.

In New York Latom would be the first to move, taking the role of Godfather Chairman.

KingLouis was sitting outside of the office, he could hear the high pitched scouse tones of Scousepole ringing through the door. In his mind he had been going over the plans again and again in his head. The move would need to be swift. Resistance should be limited, but that rogue character Tyler Durden might try and spoil the party - and as he considered this he clutched tighter on his gun. Furthermore, there were rumours of a V-Day style massacre in the workings. This move would have to be precise. The door opened and he was invited in. Don Latom addressed him.

KingLouis, we’ve decided that the time is right to make this move. I’ll take Godfather Chairman today and Scousepole will make his move in the Bronx within 24 hours. Alert the Captains, some of them may need to plant their own flags in some of the local neighbourhoods. Move swiftly and make some noise. If anyone complains then their tax doubles and if they still complain then make sure you have a few holes dig outside of town.

KingLouis nodded and turned out swiftly. Today was going to be busy.

Its with great pleasure that i see Latom reach this rank. There is no denying that we have come a long way, we have lost many, survived many a war but alas; we're still standing. I couldn't think of greater person to lead NY great things.
