Boozer checks his tie and suit in the mirror. He straightens out his tie and perks up his pocket square. He steps out of his office and walks to the front of his newly purchased casino. The crowd is gathering out front under the flashing lights:

BOOZER'S PALACE

His manager passes him a large pair of scissors for the ribbon cutting.

I welcome you all to the grand opening of BOOZER'S PALACE in Waterfront, Seattle. Come lose...*cough*..I mean, come win more money than your most wild imaginations!

Wheeler looks up in awe at the flashing lights, watching as Boozer makes his opening speech.
 

“Short but sweet! Congratulations Boozer, I hope your new venture turns out a success!“

Dominic heard of Boozer's Palace, and had just accumulated a nice wad of cash to spare...or multiply depending on the mood he was in.

He was impressed with the flashing lights. It was impressive. He had seen the casinos in Vegas, but there was something about this one that made it one of the better ones he'd come across. He didn't know what else to do in Seattle at that moment, so he decided to walk in and check out what Boozer had to offer.

The house was wild: fancy suits, short skirts, smoking, laughing, excitement, curses, the booze...oh that sweet booze.

Dominic made his way over the the blackjack table and nodded at the dealer. He took out a few $100's and plopped them down. He lit a cigarette as the dealer laid out the King and four of clubs in front of him.

"Hit me," he said.

A ten.

Shit.

He took a drag off of his cigarette and got the waitress's attention. She was a tiny thing, short blonde hair and a smile to kill. He didn't mind losing money to her.

"Let me get a gin on the rocks...splash of vermouth."

She handed him his drink and he tipped her well.

"Keep 'em coming."

The dealer placed an eight of hearts and six of diamonds.

"Hit me."

A seven. Blackjack.

Dominic was going to like being here.
