News of a fighting competition reached Massimo's ears and he felt like this would be a great opportunity to keep his fighting skills in shape or get his ass handed to him. He hoped it would be the former. After looking all over the city for Dean, he finally found him on a street corner putting up more posters.

"Hi Dean, if I'm not late, could you sign me up for the fighting tournament, Male Division." 

With that taken care of he headed to the nearest gym to train for the upcoming competition. Perhaps he could get his old friend Kenji to be his sparring partner.

Dean walks out smiling talking to one of the event organizers he has a small notepad in his hands before taking the stage and approaching the podium.

"Hello everyone! Today we announce the end of entry will be Aug 09 at 00:00:00 so you have another day to enter the competition, currently the list is incomplete I'm still waiting on the final list from DT once I get that and the entry is closed I will announce the full list of fighters. Right now we have 14 male fighters and 5 female fighters while expecting a few more from DT. If we do not get 8 for the females we may will be combining everyone into one division and have just a single large tournament."

"With this being said I just want everyone to know that you're all welcome to join the fights, the betting system for the tournament is still being worked on and will be announced once it is finished."

Dean waves and exits the stage left, then the following names appear on screen.

....Fighting Championship....tournament....prizes....entered you in....

"He did what?!" she screeched loudly.

"Hmmm, I see Massimo signed up too. Well, well, well. That's why he's been spending all that extra time at the gym. Wait until he hears that I'm also in the tournament,"she laughed. "This should get pretty interesting."

Laura paid her entry fee then ran off to surprise Massimo at the gym. He likes making bets...

Dean walks back out onto the stage once again this time with two championship belts.

"Hello all I know many times when these events come to these streets they are one of done, the winner of the tournament will have these belts and have free entry into the next tournament with at least a second round bye!"

Dean points to the screen, and on it shows.

"I hope this is some incentive for the fighters to give it all, also Consigliere Tetleys crew will not be entering the tournament. Consigliere Duggee has had $800,000 refunded to him due to these fighters not entering. Reminder you have until 00:00:00 tonight to enter the tournament!"

Kenji had heard of the tournament through a friend of his around the family. He wasn't so interested initially regarding a fighting tournament, as he thought it was a little barbaric. Although, he could box very well, attributing to his strong-willed childhood back in Japan, he wasn't 100% sure he would want to participate until Massimo had asked to spar with him and really looked like he wanted to win.

Knowing that his friends would be participating, he'd love a chance to knock some sense into them. Kenji looked up at the incomplete list and laughed. As he began to come in with his money to participate, he saw Laura walking out with a smile on her face. She must have seen Massimo on the list and had the same idea. Everyone would want to destroy Massimo
